Wish I could give them ZERO stars here. I’m seeing that the majority of the problems with Target lie with their online ordering and customer service, and I learned my lesson the hard way. Their sorry excuse for phone customer service has made me so mad that it really makes me not want to use the stores at all, even though in person hasn’t been a huge issue for me. I received the wrong item, not even close to what I ordered, then the frustration began. I called their customer service to send the unwanted package back and to get my original item, but it took me repeating that multiple times before the rep understood. She assured me MULTIPLE times that I would be given shipping at the speed of fed ex’s finest to compensate for their mistake since my item would now be late. Finally got off the phone, 20 minutes later no sign of my return label that was apparently sent twice. I called again, and this rep, after again having to repeat myself multiple times, also apparently sent me an email twice, though I definitely have not received anything days later. Also just checked the tracking information and I WAS NOT given ANY faster shipping, and my item will not be getting here even close to my original delivery date or the date I was promised (MULTIPLE TIMES). I don’t know if Target just wants to save money by hiring an untrained, incompetent, pathetic excuse for a customer service team, but bad move Target.

I shop at Target on a regular basis. This location provides excellent customer service. The reason I am giving 4 stars in instead of 5 is because I want to see stores like Target move to only sell fair trade clothing.

What they list on their web site as available in store is a total lie. Drove here and the items listed available were not.

I am a HUGE and I mean HUGE, Target fan. I’ve had their Red Card since 2010 and used to shop at Target about once a week. I love the Lynnwood, WA location and the downtown Seattle one is nice as well. I used to live in the Gilbert, AZ area and loved their location on Power Road (SUPER target, which WA doesn’t have, wahhh). I really hate the Northgate location. Several reasons– 1– I don’t like the 2 story concept. It’s very annoying when you have a cart, but maybe that’s just me. 2– the employees here are BEYOND slow at the checkout counter. As in, I could spend 30 minutes shopping and another 30 minutes in line. It’s ridic. 3– The parking garage is a nightmare. Not Target’s fault but still a deterrent from going to this location. 4– There are SO MANY homeless/​pretending to be homeless people outside loitering.

Buying bookshelf is the most difficult thing to do at Target.
Bought something online. Item came in defective. Trying to initiate a return and exchance.

Called Target in Northgate, the lady on the phone was ready to boot me off. She does not give a shit that I’ve been on calls for hours and hours trying to do a return and exchange.

This traumatizing situation is so scarring. As an honest paying customer, I should have never been treated like this. All I wanted was to get a working bookshelf.
But in target, you can’t.

I am a huge Target fan, and it always intrigues me how different Targets can be. I mean, the merchandise is basically the same from store to store, but the store lay-​outs and staff and «vibe» differ vastly, as do the amenities offered.
Today was the first time I’ve ventured in this particular Target. It is super cool! Even though I think this store has less square footage than many of the «super» Target stores I’m used to, it still is a fairly large store, and it seems even larger due to the fact that there are two stories: the lower level has household goods and electronics; the upper level has clothes and groceries and the pharmacy. I liked the good-​sized Starbucks at the entrance, and I noticed they had a fairly large photograph area and optometrist’s area. Very nice.
I LOVED the escalators for people that parallels the escalators just for carts! I just love that! (I’ve only seen another cart-​escalator once before, at a Safeway off Madison. And I was enthralled with that one, too!).
This store was very well stocked and very well organized and clean as a whistle. Like all other Target stores, there’s a great selection of most things one could ever need, and the prices are quite reasonable.
The cashier I had was super super nice! Couldn’t be more friendly.
(On a side note, when did Target start charging for bags? I knew Issaquah did, but Northgate, too? Who knew?).
What I disliked INTENSELY about this Target is the parking garage. It is horrid. Sure, it’s free to park here and there are ample spots. But the lanes going up are immediately beside the lanes going down, and they are narrow, and the corners, sharp. What possibly could go wrong with this set-​up? LOL. Add in to the mix people jutting in and out suddenly from between cars, kids running amok, an irate driver or two in line… It’s a nightmare. I hated it. If ever I’m back in this area, I might go to the mall across the street for a bit first and park there, then just walk to this Target, leaving my car in the mall lot. That’s how much I disliked this Target garage.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I now do all my grocery shopping as well as electronics, home appliances, clothing for the family! My go to for all my shopping. Customer service is excellent and always a smiling checkout! Love the discounts too using my RedCard!

In theory, I despise big chain stores, but I am lured in by Target and the comfort wraps itself around me until I want to nap on the floor (but don’t… dirty). This location is also way more preferable than the City Target downtown, which is usually a like a wait line at homeland security check in a the airport. There are so many disgruntled standers downtown. Cheer up, already.
The Northgate location is super chill, and I know where everything is, which means I don’t need to have this lost expression on my face that scares the clerks away. The rating is for convenience, and the store has most of what I need at less expensive prices. Am I supporting some horrible corporation that may employ child labor? I don’t know, but I know this isn’t some sad Walmart.
It has most of what you need, and some that you don’t (pumpkin spice m&ms, uh…). The grocery seems primarily dedicated to frozen and processed foods, but there is a teeny tiny place for something fresh.
Four stars is generous, when I’m feeling it. Any other day, three.

My inner child is perpetually amused at watching carts go up and down on this thing. I first saw it in a 2-​level supermarket in Europe and was THRILLED to find one in the US! It’s cheap entertainment, folks.
I’m a huge fan of Target for clothing, home goods, and cosmetics. The prices on most cosmetics here are lower than I’ve seen at drugstores or Ulta, and they occasionally have good deals in the clearance section as well.
A few years ago they added groceries to this location. I’m not really into those. The selection is pretty basic, and I tried their frozen turkey meatballs and they tasted weird. They weren’t spoiled or anything, they just had a weird taste, almost freezer-​burned. Not so good. I prefer to just do my grocery shopping at Fred Meyer, Safeway or QFC, though I’ll occasionally get a box of crackers or some other snack here. Target is also my favorite place to binge on Easter candy… they have an awesome selection. (Brachs Jelly Chicks and Rabbits 4eva!)
The dressing rooms at this Target can get a little crazy, but if there’s a long wait upstairs, they’ll suggest you go downstairs (near the men’s clothing), and there’s usually room there.
Crossing the street to Northgate from this Target is a little annoying since you can’t cross in the middle of the block and have to walk down to either end, but it’s not a huge deal. It would be awesome if they put a pedestrian walkway over the middle of the street though because I am super lazy especially if it’s raining.

I wish I have the time and the energy to say all that is in my mind and heart, but simply you guys (target’s employees) rock!

The fact it’s open until midnight gives it 4 stars. You either love target or you don’t so I don’t know what more you could ask for from this location.

This Northgate location has two levels of excellent quality of products and services. The staff is more than willing to help you find what you’re looking for and if they can’t they will tell you where you can find it even if its not at their locations. da accessibility is amazing with plenty of parking and other locations in the area if target can not meet your needs. I got a target debit card which takes 5 percent off of your purchases and provides back to the community which is very admirable. if you’re looking for a smaller store I suggest the downtown location Seattle target city smaller selection yet staff is very helpful and informative about their products and services.

I frequent this Target regularly and it is by the far, the best Target I go to. «Best» is relative but I have had great experiences each time I go. Every employee I walked buy asked if I needed help finding everything (I guess that could be annoying because I was asked about 7 times during my 30 minute shopping trip haha) and were incredibly friendly and eager to help. I don’t know if Target is trying to compete with Sephora but they have a beauty concierge walking about the beauty department with make up brushes on her hips and asking if you have beauty questions! Even saw her pull out samples and hand them to a gal she was helping! Pretty neat! xD
On my most recent trip, there was a booth near the household aisles with a lady handing out samples of random cleaning supplies. It must have been towards the end of her shift so she was generously stuffing my purse with samples. She asked if I wanted more and I politely declined because she gave me full-​size amounts of products… I’m gonna ballpark it here and say around $ 15 worth of free stuff? :)
There is a Starbucks inside, which is handy. Fresh groceries, although I’ve yet to purchase meat here. The fruits I’ve purchased were fine. Traffic can be a pain because the garage is shared by Petco, Ross, Sports Authority, and Best Buy but go all the way to the top and there is always parking. I’ve had good luck with the clearance sections here too ($ 2 OPI nail polish and $ 4 makeup organizers?! :D)

Northgate Target is a two story establishment. Good when you don’t need to spend most of your time looking for what you need.
Good products at a modest price.

Robert A. who works at the hot food counter is great. He is always so pleasant, friendly, fast service, and walks around to ask customers how they like the food. Its always hot and fresh! Thank u!

There isn’t anything I don’t love about Target, and this location, in particular. Easy to get to, easy parking, and it’s located in a shopping center with Ross! Score! Lol
I love that there are two floors of Target goodness. And I absolutely adore that they have a cart escalator! This fulfills all of my laziness requirements all at once.
A colleague of mine used to say that I shouldn’t brag about wearing clothes from Target, but why not? They’re pretty cute. And if you can get the good sales, even better!

This mega complex combined with Petco and Best Buy makes for a very dense experience. The elevator and parking is on multiple levels and you can gain access to Target from two of those levels.
Because this is a multi-​level Target they have the car escalators as well but you need to really park on a level that you can bring your cart to. I was coming from the south so I didn’t actually use that parkade and I just ended up parking across the street since I didn’t really need to use a cart to bring to my car, only a cart to carry the shopping items.
Crossing the street is a pain here when we parked at the bank. For what it’s worth this is a full blown Target not like the City Target in the city that is much smaller.
Still I am used to and like the normal ground level Target stores.

I like this Target. It’s my go-​to as I am usually running errands up in Northgate. They usually have what I need, and the pharmacy is convenient and they are pretty quick to fill my prescription.
The store is always clean, bright, and the people are friendly and always have that overly-​helpful-​target-​attitude.
I can never walk out of here without buying something.

I only buy the toilet paper with the puppies on it.

I had a semi-​tricky exchange to take care of. No receipt, no packaging, but Qran was able to look up the item, and swipe the card I thought that I’d used to make the purchase to find out what I’d paid for it. I had picked out another item to exchange, and even though it was more expensive than what I’d bought originally, she adjusted the price to make it a straight-​across exchange.
Spectacular service, and since I work in the retail business as well, I definitely appreciate the extra consideration.
