Subway

Bro, lemme tell you–
I hate Subway.
I love sandwiches. Like… So much. So Subway is usually a total no go for me. I only eat it in moments of absolute desperation. (Once every three years or so).
Then why the four stars? Well, if you’re going to eat at a Subway, eat at this one. The employees aren’t super nice or friendly because hey guess what? They work at Subway. They make crap wages doing a mindless job at a very busy location. If you’re the type to be all «Well if they wanna make more money they should get a different job!» I agree, and will also add «If you want stellar service you should eat a real restaurant!» Seriously, get over yourself while you order extremely cheap sub standard food (there was a pun in there!). I don’t know why people expect anything else from the staff. They are however– fast and accurate, and pretty patient with people.
I came in and there were like ten people in front of me. I was already sad to have to eat there, and sadder to see the line. I was surprised to be in and out in about four minutes (!!!), hiding the shame of my Subway bag in my purse as I scurried out. The dude even gave me extra feta– a necessity to mask the flavor of all the other gross old veggies in there. These ladies are super quick. The guy in front of me was ordering two subs, and kept asking for stuff but not specifying which sandwich it went on. I would’ve personally rolled my eyes so hard I could see the back of my head, but the sandwich artist just patiently asked «on which sandwich?» for every single ingredient. Get it together dude.
Good on you Subway people, don’t let the unrealistic expectations of West Seattleites get you down.

I live close to this one and go there at least once a week, I have never had any problems with rude staff, they are always really nice. The last two times I was stuck behind people being VERY rude to the lady making their sandwich, there is no reason to be like that.
everyone thinks they are so special to have extra this and extra that, Im sure these ladies get tired of hearing «can you put more on that?“subway is here to make money, not give out free this and that on everyones sandwich.

The short of it: It’s Subway standard ingredients. The food is what you would expect. The SERVICE on the other hand has a lot of room for improvement.
The longer version: you’ll get a meal that tastes like a subway sandwich. I work in the area so I go here every now and again and what I can say is that it’s consistent in everything; including their customer service. The staff is very much like their manager: not very talkative in either a friendly or unfriendly way. It’s just work to them. According to previous reviews, it sounds like this place has maintained that status quo for the last couple of years, which is actually impressive that it hasn’t gotten any better or worse.
It’s lunch food to me and the CS isn’t so bad that i won’t return, but I will not be coming back as frequently as I normally would do, do to the atmosphere.

Hands down the worst service I’ve experienced at a Subway. The biggest offender is an older women who is possibly Indian? She looked at me like I slapped her mother the moment I came up to the counter. I’ve never had stink eye like that in a service establishment. Don’t think of asking for extra veggies when she gives you the bare minimums or you get defcon stink eye, which is obviously a step up. I work by here, and my co-​workers have experienced the same thing from her. I had to just quit going there even though it is the closest lunch option. I honestly would rather go hungry than support this Subway.

I think I found the most cheerful Subway employee ever here. I don’t generally eat fast food but I’m on a low sodium diet and Subway is famous for their excellent nutritional info and the Veggie Delight usually works pretty well.
It was early evening and the guy was cleaning up but he was incredibly cheerful and friendly. He apologized twice for making me wait while he wiped down the counter. When he asked what cheese I wanted and I said non (too much sodium) he smiled and said“then we’ll give you extra avacado”. And he did, three huge scoops of avacado. All quickly and with a smile.
Good location.

My sandwich artist was R. A…H.U.D.E!!!
She literally beat my sandwich up like it owed her money! After tossing it into the oven, she slammed it down on the counter, threw on my toppings, and smashed it together to cut it in half. I was in shock how she treated my poor meatball sub. She obviously was having a bad day and took it out on those poor meatballs.
The only reason I didn’t rate a 1 is because the team member that rang up my order was sweet and my abused sandwich was surprisingly tasty.
Hmmm…maybe that abusive sandwich artist is onto something?!

its right next to my work or i would never eat at this subway again, i go there about 4 times a week. i know what kind of sandwich depending on who is making it (i need to change my order per person) its sad how you get 100% different sandwichs on the person, my constanct complaints are the questionable looking veggies (some look old like the soggy cucumbers) and the general lack of english, i know its bad but there should be no gap in CUT THE SUB ALL THE WAY IN HALF!!! they never do they are so rushed they fly through and make a half assed sub,
the subway by northland is the exact same, owner and seems to be the same kind of lazy employess

I like Subway, I really do, but this one seems to be going downhill. I am a vegetarian, so I get the veggie delite and lately they are really skimping on the veggies… and that is all the damn sub is! I feel like I have to say «can you add more please» after every single ingredient. This location is always busy too, so not only am I annoying the sub artist by saying that, but also all the people in line behind me :(
Maybe this is a nationwide thing for Subway to save money, maybe this location just got a memo to be skimpy, I don’t know, but after at least 5 times of this happening here, I will not be back… and I like Subway… sigh.

Solid subway. Clean, veggies/​meat/​cheese is fresh, and staff is nice.
