One of the better subways I’ve been to around town. They’re fast and the veggies are fresh which will always make me a happy camper. It’s unfortunate, however, that their prices are slowly increasing.

I LOVE subway… However not this subway… Today I walked out due to the price of a salad being the same as a foot long sub but with only half the meat of a foot long sub. When they topped the salad with the Chicken I only got one little boat… Now if you like me have been here you know that 2 little boats go on a foot long sub. So I said it would have been better if i order the foot long then just poured it into a bowl… Next time I will do that. They often times will not honor any 5 dollar foot long deal if it has chicken because it is too expensive I guess. Well at least they get the advertising and then throw it out the window when people show up. I will not be going back to this subway. It is worth the walk to the next block to the one with consistent pricing and better service.

The owner of this franchise is pretty much a terrible person. He owns several of the franchises in downtown Seattle and shows up in his Mercedes SUV with his friends and rules the roost, coming out of the back to criticize employees and act apologetic to customers but he’s really just kind of a jerk. I also feel bad for the employees because one time I overheard one saying that the owner lets them get one footlong sub per shift, but they can’t get a salad or anything else, just a sub, if they want lunch. Also, there are a lot of street beggars around this location, and one time an older lady came in while I was in line and asked to use the restroom. The employee, knowing the owner was in the building, said it’s for customers only, so I said the woman was with me and I was buying her a cookie. The employee immediately acquiesced and let her use the bathroom. The owner came out and told me not to do that because he didn’t want to have street people hanging around. Listen buddy, I don’t want street people around either, but if an old lady needs to pee, and I offer to buy something extra, she becomes a customer, and you need to step down from your ivory tower and realize that you are operating a Subway in the downtown of one of the largest cities in the country. Get a grip.

If you’ve come for the world of sandwiches that is Subway, you’ve come to the right place: They make everything fast and toasty if you so desire, including the new guacamole ones. Consistent, quick, & friendly with a lot of homeless local flavor mucking about… pretty much a Seattle staple.

One of the better subways in Seattle. Very friendly staff who really make you sandwich the way you want it. Infinitely better than the one on 18008th Ave. I actually the extra distance from my office to come here instead of going to the other one. Basically fresh and delicious as it should be. Perfect spot to grab quick lunch.

I got a footlong Tuna sandwich for lunch, which is my usual at the Subways. I have had a million of them at various Subways around the country. But this footlong was special! It tasted horrible like an uncooked tuna fish filled with excessive sodium. I am not sure what was it, may be it was some kind of shitty genetic fish they came up with, the point is it was gross! It took away my blind faith on Tuna footlong which was my food on the go. Also to add, the server was wearing the pair of gloves with which she served the veggies and touched other things around her.

Ok, everyone knows Subway’s food is generally very consistent, relatively healthy food for a «fast food» chain. It’s one of my favorite fast food chains, and I frequent it quite often if I’m running short on time. I will not be coming back to this Subway, though. This review has nothing to do with food. Because I didn’t get any when I tried to order here. Here’s the story: I come in on a Tuesday morning, there is one guy working, and he is serving one customer before me. No problem, I have about 20 minutes to spare before I need to leave for work. That’s plenty of time to at least order a sandwich to go, right? The customer in front of me has a hard time deciding on what to get, and she was particular about how her sandwich was made. Fine, no big deal. Usually Subway employees know to multi-task, and while the bread is toasting for one customer, go ahead and ask what the other customer would like to order, right? Not in this case. So I wait until that customer is done ordering, she has paid, now it’s my turn, right? The customer even felt bad enough to apologize to me, and then tell the Subway employee to go ahead and serve me. I appreciated that. What does the employee do? He doesn’t even acknowledge my presence. After ringing the previous customer up, he walks over to the drinks, moves the coffee dispenser from the drip machine to the drink counter. Then he goes back behind the cash register, moves the iced tea dispenser over to the drink counter. All the while, taking his time, with a seemingly no rush, no big deal attitude. By now, there is another guy behind me, both of us waiting to be served. At this point, I’m a bit annoyed that my presence has not even been acknowledged yet. Not even a «Sorry, I will be right with you.» Ok, the employee walks back behind the sandwich counter, and surely I’m ready to order, right? No. He turns over to the microwave to take something out of it and place it somewhere. Where? I even don’t know, because by now I’m out the door. This employees lack of service perplexes me, so I leave without ordering. All this took the 20 minutes I had to spare. 20 minutes! With one customer before me. I wasn’t even recognized while standing in line for 20 minutes! Maybe that employee was having a bad morning, but that’s no excuse for ignoring customers in line. Ridiculous.

I think the best thing you can say about a fast food chain is that the food in one store is consistent with other stores throughout the country. This is the case with this Subway location. I appreciate that this location is 24 hours as I sometimes grab a sandwich early in the day for lunch later on. The guy behind the counter works fast without being curt.

Service is generally good at this location, otherwise. it’s Subway. Very boring, nothing special or exciting at all, but it’ll fill you up on the cheap, and they’re open late.

Visited this Subway this evening with my fiancé. I waited outside with our dog while she ordered for us. She was verbally antagonized by two drunk men who were sitting inside the restaurant. When she came outside and told me one of the guys was still staring at her, making comments through the window. When I confronted him he came outside yelling profanity and tried to provoke a fight. This man should never have been allowed to loiter in the restaurant and I won’t be going here again. Walk down the street to Whole Foods and you can get an $ 8 sandwich that is 10 times better.

Give me a break. Subway makes some of the worst sandwiches I have ever eaten. With so many other options nearby, there is no reason to go here. Even worse than the food, however, is the stench of this awful establishment that lingers with you for the rest of the day, alerting all to your regrettable decision to «eat fresh!»

Feeling dehydrated and hungry at 3am?! I sooo know that feeling, you are not alone! What’s good Seattle?! I know SUBWAY!!! yes, Subway! I had a great adventure in Seattle during Memorial Day weekend 2010… BUT I did run into technical difficulties or should I say a major glitch in the Seattle system! After a night of dancing, at 2am… where does one go when… every where around you is closed?!(what’s up with that Seattle?!) Well, I learned the hard way… after walking in circles around the area of my hotel… 30+ mins. into my quest of finding someplace to eat and grab a drink… SUBWAY appeared out of no where! Thank you subway god! What’s this I see?! SUBWAY open 24hrs!!! YES! Heaven! I knew picking that penny up would bring me good luck! I’m not a subway fan, due to having subway across of my college… I have a history of on subway during finals week… lol. poor me. but Subway in Seattle at 3am worked for me!!! On the plus side, the guy working that morning was really generous on the veggies! So after a night out of partying… which way do you go? duh, SUBWAY! +++ reasonable prices and a healthy choice! mmmm… thanks subway for fueling my system when I was in dying need of H20 and carbs before bed! I heart Seattle Subway! xo– Miss Unilocal 2010.

A subway open until 1am and 3am on weekends? There goes my post-bar munchies guilt! It also doesn’t hurt that the service is always great.

I lived next to this location for approximately two years, and I miss it now that I’m living on the north end next to a horrible Subway. I’d stop by once or twice a week maybe for a veggie sandwich, and no matter what time of day, no matter what time of day it was, it always went really fast. Even if there were 15 people standing in front of me, I would rarely wait more than five minutes. They have all the standard Subway toppings plus a couple extra veggies that other locations don’t normally carry, which is a definite plus. My favorite part is that the service was awesome. The workers were the mostly the same for the entire time I lived nearby and visited. They knew my name, they knew my order, and when I told them I was moving they actually gave me a sandwich for free(it would have been $ 3, but who cares) and told me they’d miss me. Great guys(and gals), great food, great service. Definitely 5⁄5 stars.

i’m almost ashamed to admit that i patronize this particular chain, given my very brief stint as a «sandwich artist» years ago, but well… i gotta give this location its propers. the staff here has never failed to move the line quickly and keep the mood light while doing so. there’s one guy who’s always there when i come in for lunch, and he’s amazing. every time i see him he’s smiling and making conversation. the sandwiches themselves are better than i remember, and the ingredients at least taste as fresh as subway claims them to be. given the price, the combo is a fine deal. plus every so often the little card they have pays off and i get free food. i like free food. (note: technically wheelchair accessible so i couldn’t select«no», but i would NEVER try to navigate a wheelchair in this place.)

Usually working evenings this is the home of Jesse, the master of the sandwich. He’s a big guy, with lots of tats and largely spaced earrings. Jesse has a honest gift for designing a sandwich. At first he appears to be the same as any other subway guy, but once you taste a Jesse Subway Sanny, you will know true heaven. The other guys that work there are talented as well, but Jesse is the true Zen Master.
