sbux is great, but it’s not my preferred spot. usually it’ll be my last resort. i can’t even hate on sbux tho, they’ve been around for so long and i appreciate them and its history. staff are always welcoming and friendly. they could get better pastries tho and maybe even better coffee beans.

I’ve always loved this building. This Starbucks used to be a Tully’s back in 2008 and I’m glad Starbucks took over. The atmosphere is what you can expect from Starbucks. I appreciate the consistency of Starbucks and that you can rely on certain things to be that way: Good customer service, fast service, warm aesthetics, etc. The staff at this location are particularly VERY nice and pretty chill. I stop in to get coffee before class just about everyday and the staff have never failed to be great each time.

This starbucks is so cute and it’s located right in the middle of Capitol Hill. :) The workers are nice and the service is pretty fast! Also, the place is kept nice and tidy. But you need to ask for the code to use the bathroom.

It was a very aesthetically pleasing starbucks in a very historical looking building. I was very happy that they had a plethora of outlets for me to charge my phone, but the employees werent very friendly. They didnt even know the restroom code. They also messed up my drink order. Good thing I had a coupon.

Let me start by saying that I don’t have the same prejudice against Starbucks as other Seattleites. I like Starbucks coffee! This is one of my favorite Starbucks that I’ve come across. Its location on the corner of Broadway and Pike is obviously really convenient. I don’t tend to hang around this location too long because it’s often busy and sometimes pretty full to capacity, but I often stop in here while I’m running errands(shopping at QFC, etc.). The décor is lovely… I like the long thin wood tables with high bar stools, and for some reason I really like the entrance door(weird thing to pinpoint, but you’ll see what I mean). The baristas have always been friendly. I think this Starbucks has a larger selection of baked goods than some others, and the drinks are as good as any other Starbucks I’ve been too.

I was on an ovarian cancer walk and had to pee really bad. I stopped in the Starbucks at this location and told the barista that needed to use the bathroom and I would buy something. She told me that I had to wait in the long line and buy something before she would give me the code to the bathroom. Apparently I looked too low class or untrustworthy to let use the bathroom. I was wearing the ovarian cancer run T-shirt and matching teal colored shoelaces. I was pissed, no pun intended. I ended up walking home vs waiting in line because it was quicker. Thanks for your hospitality Starbucks!

The reuse of materials at this location is great. The floors and bar seating reminds me of an old saloon

Love the location. Love the interior. Hate the drinks. This starbucks was by far my favorite that has opened up because of its décor. I love everything about it. I think there is just enough seating, unlike the others thinking it is minimal. The staff are sometimes friendly to talk to. The only reason I’m giving this a two star rating is that even though I liked everything about the presentation, the baristas have no clue what it means to make a drink. They are so heavy on the milk its like they don’t know what coffee is. I ordered a venti coffee with soy milk and 1 pump classic for my girlfriend and was handed a cup of basically soy milk. I asked to get my drink remade because there was no way the thing they handed to me had any trace of coffee whats so ever(I mean the liquid was beige) Anyways they said they could not remake my drink because they were too busy, even though there was no one in line. I insisted that they did because I did not just pay $ 5 for soy milk and they complied, only to give me that same beige color. Knowing they wouldn’t give me anything but, I walked across the street and had my drink made correctly… making that almost $ 10 on an iced coffee. Sadly, this is not the first time this has happened. They seem to always cheap out of their coffee and given me mainly milk. You would think that milk would be more expensive to waste than coffee. And when I do get my drink, it is never completely full, its always ¾ filled. Most times it tastes like shit because something went wrong in the simple process of adding coffee and milk to a cup. Anyways I will not be going back into this place to order coffee from anytime soon.

I love the look of this Starbucks location. It’s in a good location right on Broadway and E. Pike. It’s very busy though with lots of students from the CC and SU along with everyone else in the neighborhood so it can get a little crowded if you’re planning to sit for a while. But, there are a lot of counterheight seating next to all the open windows facing the street so it’s a great place for people watching.

Nice new Starbucks with very modern décor, the seating however is very limited. This location is well equipped with loads of plugs for elections but lacks space for you to actually take advantage of it I wouldn’t want to come here to do any work or lounge due to the limited space but the service here has really impressed me.

Ever since Tully closed down and I heard that starbucks was moving in. I’ve been waiting for this day. Monday morning I decided to pop in. Staff was very welcoming and made a solid effort to get to know me. The QFC starbucks has a new competitor and its right across the street.
