Solid Starbucks in Upper Queen Anne with friendly staff and a treinta cup which made me quite happy. The location is quite convenient as well.

When you are headed to Starbucks and can’t find parking on Queen Anne Ave, head into Safeway and get your coffee fix at the Starbucks inside. Besides, if you park in the Safeway lot and don’t go inside you are risking getting a ticket (of which I have personal experience).
There is hardly ever anyone waiting in line. So although there aren’t more than two people working here, it really doesn’t take long to get your order.
Also, I have used this Starbucks to check out with my groceries. When the Safeway cashier lines are busy, the Starbucks employees are more than happy to ring you up!

This Starbucks is located inside Safeway. Even though there’s a clover Starbucks across the street, if you’re not getting a clover coffee, I recommend coming to this one.
Parking is obviously a lot easier in the Safeway lot. The baristas are nice and make good drinks. Usually there is only one (max two) people working at a time-​so they’re responsible for the register and making your drinks. If there’s a few people in line ahead of you, it will be a couple minutes but that’s certainly not the barista’s fault.
Also, if you have a Starbucks Gold Card, you can use it-​but let the barista know beforehand so the syrup and/​or soy is free.
