After several more visits, I am updating my review. This review is solely based on the food and customer service I receive from Kelati. I had my FINAL visit to Sodo today, because I am just fed up with what I pay for when I get Kelati taking my order. I went in today to get a salad and Kelati asked if I wanted«extra» cheese, I told him no so he gives me what he considers the«normal amount». I paid almost $ 6 for a small box of lettuce! The picture doesn’t do half the justice of what was really in this small container! I wish I had a picture of what I am used to when one of the ladies make my salad or my pizza! I have been going to Sodo for almost 2 years and before he started working there, I always got consistency from the ladies working, which is why I am keeping 2 stars. Kelati is ALWAYS skimpy on the toppings when he takes my order. I literally stand there and WATCH him count how many pieces of meat he puts on my pizza that comes with 4 toppings and I only choose to get 2 or watch him count the pieces of lettuce he puts in my salad and counts the pieces of cheese! He has a really bad attitude when I ask for more cheese or just bring up that what he gave me is not what I normally get. DON’T WORKINCUSTOMERSERVICEIFYOUARENOTTHERETOSERVETHECUSTOMERSANDKEEPTHEMRETURNING! Like seriously, I normally pay EXTRA to get extra cheese for him to sit there and count out 5 cheese shreds. I have expressed on multiple occasions what I usually get and how the ladies make it and he can’t seem to get it right. I know that this sounds petty, but when you pay $ 12 or $ 13 instead of $ 10 for the lunch special to get something the way you want it, you expect to get it.

Great pizza. Sandwiches are unique and delicious. Employees are friendly. Reasonably priced, my favorite is the lunch special for 10 bucks, very satisfying for the price.

Great food and very friendly staff! A hidden gem in sodo! I came by on a Wednesday afternoon and there was a steady flow of customers coming in to get pizza. I personally had a sandwich which was a really good value plus was incredibly tasty. Looks like they have great pizza options and even offer gluten free crust. I have a buddy of mine who is gluten free and said the pizza is good. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I work in the SODO and SODO Pizza, by far, has the best pizza in the area. They are the go-to place when I am at work and have a craving.

This place offers reliable great pizza and salads. I call our lunch orders in from work and they are ready to go 15 minutes later. Everyone who works here is very friendly. I personally love their crust! Good ingredients, good people, price is comparable to pretty much everything you find in SEA. It may not be a fancy-dan interior but who cares. you are in SODO. the food is good and the people are good and that’s what matters. M

I’ve been avoiding this place due to the fact that the restaurant that used to be there was so horrible. Some co workers had tried it and said that the pizza was decent but spendy, however the sandwiches were pretty good. I decided to join them for lunch last week and was pleasantly surprised with my order. The chicken parmesan sandwhich was very good. I was expecting breaded chicken and although it wasn’t there must have been something in the sauce because it felt like a chicken parmesan sandwhich to me. The salad and dressing was pretty good and they have some marked«no olives» if that is what you prefer. Along with a can of soda for $ 10 it wasn’t a bad deal at all. The interior was brighter than the previous restaurant and the staff was excellent. The décor feels kind of tacky with particle board trim and big green mats that look like Scotch Brite pads on the wall and hanging from the ceiling. Apparently the mats for noise reduction and the staff says they make a big difference.

Ordered take out for my crew here for the first time. Called in my order. A friend of mine had stated their sandwiches are good and pizza isn’t bad either. 9 sandwiches and 1 extra large pizza later we will be coming back. Gourmet veggies selection for certain sandwiches was a nice change. Bun reminded me something along the lines of a pretzel bun. Perfect toasted with just enough bite. Each sandwich they cut in half, thank goodness because I could only eat half:) The pizza was a little too salty but ok. I like the sandwiches better.

The pizza was very good, I like the white sauce they had it was full of flavor. I didn’t however like that they used premade crusts they should make it in store but it was still good.

Sodo stands for South Downtown in the city of Seattle, WA. A city that has been on the cusp of the foodie trend since the word foodie was invented. If you’re going to specialize in something then you’d better bring your«A» game and Sodo Pizza fails not only at the pizza they make but also by their name. They better figure it out soon or they might as well change their name to So So Pizza. Not only does this pizza not hold a candle to the likes of Pagliacci or MOD or Zeeks, Sodo takes a back seat to commercial chains like Dominoes and Pizza Hut as well in my opinion. First of all, this place is in a shady looking part of town. It’s mostly industrial and shares a parking lot with what appears to be an abandoned truck graveyard. The building is huge but the space is not used well. There is no inviting atmosphere here. You feel like you’ve entered into a soup kitchen or maybe a V.A. hall that someone rented out for a wedding reception. Cold and dirty vinyl flooring. Stained walls and cafeteria style table and chairs sporadically placed around the room. The best feature of the entire place is the vintage photos that they have hanging around the room that give you a glimpse of what Seattle looked like in the past. Simply put, this place could use a serious overhaul. Even if they did turn this giant space into a nice inviting space where you could feel comfortable having a meal, that wouldn’t help the pizza itself. I ordered a personal size pizza with pepperoni and pineapple. I also added garlic and artichokes. They make the pizza to order so they don’t offer slices but there is only one type of crust. Thick and gooey. Some people like that. I personally enjoy a thin crust pizza. On my pizza were 7 slices of pepperoni. You read that correct, SEVEN! So much for a taste of each topping in every bite. If you’ve really got to skimp on the toppings that badly already, you might as well just shut the place down cause you must already be losing money. I always go into new places hoping to find the best that I’ve ever had. I love writing reviews and I am always honest with what I write. I want to write good reviews about places but unfortunately, I can’t in this instance but keep in mind that this review and all of my reviews are based solely on my own opinion and nothing else. I wouldn’t personally recommend going to Sodo Pizza. It’s just not worth the time, money or effort. Thanks for reading.

If you are looking for a gluten-free pizza crust that actually tastes like pizza, this is your place. Doughy and delicious… It doesn’t taste like cheese on a stale cracker! It tastes like real pizza! And this is the only pizza place I’ve been to that has GF pies in ALL sizes. It’s so much more cost effective. Instead of having to buy two small pies, we can get one large pie and have some leftover! The employees are extremely friendly, too. I really hope this place does well because I’m only getting pizza here from now on!

This place is convenient to get in and out of, at the junction of Spokane St and Airport Way. They do a lunch special, $ 7 for a personal pie with upto 4 toppings, or for $ 10 include a drink and side salad. They make their dressings in-house and customer service is excellent. They can handle bulk orders for company events.

These 4 stars come from the great customer service and wonderful food from Yoki, Vicky and Bernice.(Hope I spelled all of your names correctly). These ladies are the reason I keep coming back!(At least 2 – 3 times a week) They know how I like my salad and pizza. They know me by name and they are always welcoming! No complaints! I would give 5 stars however the owner has not provided me with the best service. He doesn’t wash his hands or wear gloves when preparing food which is flat out gross and he is skimpy with the toppings. He is nice, don’t get me wrong but I prefer to go when the ladies are working!

I stopped in 7÷24÷14 for a salad and the woman that helped me was friendly, place was not dirty(like other places nearby) but as I was standing at the counter a worker was at the pizza oven and dropped the peel(spatula) right on the floor, another man picked it up and stared using it on cooked pizza… WTH! When I made it back to my office with my Cobb Salad I noticed a dead fruit fly stuck to the side of lettuce right before i took a bite… I ended up being extremely annoyed since I had just purchased this for around $ 10 and now was not going to eat it. My coworker over heard me cursing in my office and said that he had just had a salad from there yesterday that was ok however it had what appeared to be a fish bone in it. I don’t even think they serve fish so not sure where that came from. I will not be going back!

Pizza was absolutely fantastic. The only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars because outside of the lunch special, which looks to be a better deal, what I got was a little on the pricy side, but still is very much worth it. The inside of the place was very clean and had interesting photos of sodo history. My order was also ready in no time flat. I highly recommend giving Sodo pizza a try and they will have my business again.

They just moved across the street from my work and we LOVE them! Their lunch special is a personal pizza, decent size salad, and a drink for $ 10. Their pizza and salad are very good and it’s a great price for all the food you get. The employees are great, especially the guy with all the tattoos.
