I can’t believe this place closed! It was so cool, the cocktails were so good, and I never got to try the stromboli! Reopen, gosh darn you!

Love this place! We were bummed when the Ballard store shut, but at least this one still stands, and it actually works out well because we moved from Ballard to Shoreline. We usually sit upstairs at the bar, and the two bartenders who have served us over time have both been really cool. I threw a surprise birthday party for my boyfriend here just after the holidays, and worked with the owner directly. We spoke over the tele when we were still on holiday in Hawaii. Very accomadating, he made it work for us. The people who worked that night were really cool too. We even shared some birthday cake with them, they happily agreed. It was like family… Snoose’s record collection is unbeatable, and I would love it if i could afford their record buyer to go out and purchase all of the records they have in stock. They have a magazine booklet on all tables that lists their record collection. They accept requests, and back to the birthday party, the bartender was really awesome about playing the records I selected all night. The only gripe i have about this place is when they play sports on the big screen, thus blocking out the potential to hear really groovy tunes from their endless, stellar record collection. Sorry, we’re just not sports fans and would rather hear music than noise and ads. But the pizza and the music trumps the sports — and all that gio with it — on the big screen, so we’ll be back…

I will most likely re-do this review when I go back and try some of the different foods they have to offer(namely the stromboli) but in regards to their bar/lounge alone, this place is really quite awesome. When you walk in, the first floor is a family-ish style restaurant but ascend the open-air staircase and find yourself in a very classy/chic lounge with lots of comfy seating, a spacious bar, and plenty of spirits and delicious beers on tap from which to choose your poison. The bartender is hilarious and she makes a ridiculously good bloody mary. On top of that, you can request music to be played(for free) although they are currently out of Bowie… I will most certainly be back and I’m glad my new friends led me here, even if it was on a lazy Sunday.

Went here for dinner with a friend after an hour at Healthy Foot Spa on a Friday after work. Great combo, I’d highly recommend you do the same sometime.(My massage there was wonderful, btw.) My friend and I had a great meal. We sat upstairs, nice vibe with the wood, retro pictures and music. We both started with a small salad. I enjoyed my Caesar salad. We split a large potato pizza. Really yummy: cheesy, roasted potato taste and good crust. We each had 2 glasses of wine and enough pizza to bring home for lunch the next day. The downstairs was full of families, playing with toys and wondering around freely. I wish I had discovered this place when my kids were younger. It would have been nice for them to play and for the adults to have a beer and good food at a restaurant. This place is close to where we live so I will come back with the family. Great experience overall. Both the foot spa and the restaurant are in a weird strip mall, but give it a try.

If you’re not going upstairs to the bar and asking them to spin vinyl, you’re not getting the full effect. This is a two-story, fairly ordinary neighborhood pizzeria. They have a great lineup of pies, good salads, nice apps, and a few entrees. They have a thoroughly decent little tap lineup, some good wines, and a full bar. The prices aren’t in the steal range, but they’re not a ripoff, either. The service is awesome. Friendly and fun and reliable and solid. The setting is just OK. It’s nicely remodeled, but the graffiti art is trying a little too hard to be gritty and urban and cool. There are some nice spots to sit along banquettes, and plenty of tables. The upstairs has the best perches, but it isn’t always open(usually closed around lunch). Upstairs, in addition to having the best view of the game on the big screen and the bar right there, also has a massive vinyl collection. It’s curated by the former owner of Fallout Records on Cap Hill, so, as you might imagine, it’s loaded with lots of classic hard bop, free jazz, and old punk, plus lots of other hip stuff of various eras and genres. Ironically, the cooks often listen to fairly mundane 80s and 90s pop, so don’t judge the vinyl collection by what you hear coming out of the kitchen. Best of all, they bring you a vinyl list – you select your side from a leather-bound book like a wine list. The bartender plays a side and then moves to the next thing in queue. Unfortunately, as good as the toppings, cheeses, and edges of the pizza are, the crust is a floppy, soggy mess. It tastes great, but it’s sodden enough that it’s a pain to eat. But the kitchen is solid enough to work in concert with the bar, the big screen, and the vinyl library. Cool spot.

Solid pizza get the olive oil base ! W Lis Would get 5 stars but it is a little pricey and they stopped doing slices in Greenwood. Ballard location is always good on the late night!

We can’t believe we have lived down the street for a year and just now ventured to Snoose Junction. It was awesome! The pizza was delicious and reasonably priced. The crust is just perfect. Not too thick and not too thin! Also had a side salad which was delicious and they make their own dressing. We definitely will be back!

What is the difference between a stromboli and a calzone anyway? I came here with my sister, who had been jonesin’ for a Snoose Junction stromboli for a month or so. We split the Oddball Stromboli and a chop salad. We also got some stuffed mushrooms… but stuffed with nothing but cheese, garlic & herbs, they were the real snoozer! The stromboli was flavorful and filled with real meat. It came with marinara sauce to top it off. I didn’t notice a lot of cheese or many vegetables. The chop salad was also filled with real meats and cheeses as well as some nice fresh and preserved(articoke hearts) vegetables. The food was good. We did, however, have to send our first stromboli back because it was WAY overdone. The server brought it out and said, «This isn’t typical, the bread is way too dark. But you could eat around it… or I could bring you a new one.» I can’t believe that the server even thought that was an option. Of course a customer ordering a pizza wants the crust to be edible! For that reason I really had to go with a three-star rating. People in the food service industry should know better!

While I rarely eat pizza — or anything served at a Pizzeria– the Oddball Stromboli at Snoose Junction has become one of the few foods I crave. A bunch of us gals met there right before Christmas to celebrate a new job. They were busy, but we found them welcoming and accommodating. The atmosphere is fun, but not in a Chuck E. Cheese sort of way. Let’s just say that everyone would feel comfortable in a place like this. I’m trying to lure my pizza-hating husband in for a Stromboli of his own.

Watch Unilocal edit the hell out of this review… This place is crap. Overpriced is their motto. If I pay 26 dollars for a pie don’t charge me a buck fifty for a little cup of ranch. If you are looking to get drunk and eat pizza you are an idiot for coming here. Go someplace where the pies are cheap, get drunk first, you won’t be able to taste the pie and have three times as much booze with the money you saved. The pizza? Its knock-off New York style with all the grease and none of the flavor. The toppings will slide off and before you know it you have a ball of curd. I’ve been to two of these Snoose Junction locations(the other off of Market) and I haven’t been impressed by either. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. All of these 5 star reviews must be from people eager to literally $hit out their money… this place isn’t worth the coin you’ll be «dropping».

The upstairs bar is beautifully detailed and the layout is nice and loungy. They did a really nice job with the set up. The food is just so-so. The calzone could have been good but it had red sauce already inside which made it soggy. The meatball parm was nothing special either. Fresh chopped onions on top of a hot sandwich??? The pizza was just ok. Definitely not worth the price they are asking! The service is spotty. I’ve had good and bad service here. Snoose is a great place to grab a drink and catch up. The downstairs seating area is decent but the upstairs is where you need to sit. I heard the Ballard location has much better food. Snoose is probably the nicest bar in the north Greenwood area. Happy hour is probably the best time to check them out. It’s a trendy place but it’s not NY pizza.

First off, pizza place with a full bar… That gets it two extra stars right there. The menu has a lot of great options and the food was fast and delicious. Service was friendly. I came on a Saturday night and the place seemed a little slow with plenty of seating both in the bar up stairs and in the main dinning section. Prices are what you would expect. I also love that they give you your choice of dipping sauce with your calazone. I’ll be back.

I’ve been wanting to go here for a while based on Unilocal reviews, but we never have a reason to go all the way up to Greenwood. Thankfully our friends were in town this weekend and they were staying in that area. We went on Sunday afternoon and it wasn’t very full(yay). The waitress was prompt and kept an eye on our drinks(if they needed refilling). She was pretty cute too. We got half a meathead and half herb albert. I liked it all. Their crust is interesting. It’s not the kind of slice you can just pick up and eat, it tends to be floppy, but the end bits are buttery and light. YUM. I’ll try really hard to hit up the ballard location since it’s closer. I’m sure it’s just as great :)

This is the one place you are guaranteed to find me at when I am in Seattle taking my summer break from the Texas heat. I don’t even know where to start… The ambiance of this place is multi faceted. Downstairs is good for any type of group you could imagine. Games for kids, nice tunes for the adults, and more seating than you would think looking at Snoose from the outside. Upstairs is where the magic happens. The upper portion is all created by a conglomerate of some of the greatest artists I have ever seen. The beauty is in the small details of the copper bar and the etchings and tin-work. They have revolving art that is always up my alley and they have a GREAT selection of vinyl that they let the customers choose from. The food is spectacular. At least, all of the food that I have had. I have tried the calzones, the stromboli and their variations of their salads and I have loved them all. I can’t comment on the pizza because just looking at one makes me reach for my Tagamet. The ingredients are as locally sourced as possible and the staff and kitchen are more than willing to tackle any type of creation or combo you can come up with. They also have a great happy hour and it makes some of the best food in the neighborhood the most affordable. The dough is stellar and everything I have had has been cooked just right. The sauces for dipping your food in are all home made and you can definitely tell the difference. Straight creamy fire. I can’t think of a bad thing to say. Looking at others’ reviews, I can see they don’t all have the same feelings as me. That’s cool. Maybe I just have better taste when creating my stromboli or maybe I just run with a cooler crowd that makes things more enjoyable ;) . Try this place. You won’t be disappointed. If you are, just listen for a Texas accent and if you find me I will buy you a round. Until next time…

Not sure I’ll be back to Part Dieu after this experience. The first few times I had Snoose I thought the soggy crust was a fluke. Nope, turns out their crust is just plain soggy from the middle of the pizza on out towards the outer crust with it just getting crispy on the outer ring of the pizza. Sigh. Service was okay until the server wasn’t wanting to accept the coupon I had that was very plainly written. Thankfully the manager came over and said it was valid, which it obviously was. Also– dirty restroom. Sorry, Snoose!

One of the most frustrating to-go orders/delivery/mess I have had in Seattle. I don’t think I have had more trouble actually getting a pizza, and I missed the majority of Monday Night Football doing so. Luckily, the pie(when finally in hands) was very good and that is why I am still giving a decent rating. The staff needs some organization and the phone system needs some definite work.

I thought this place was pretty good. I only sat in the restaurant area, so I can’t comment on the bar, but it was nice, airy and comfy. I give them a 3 star because the pizza I had was ok, but not great. However, I got the pizza with potato on it and I think it was more the weird pizza than a comment on their pizza in general. I will definitely be going back, but next time I am going to get a more traditional kind of pie. Tip: This place was a little tricky to find. It is right behind the Jiffy Lube on the corner in a little shopping plaza. There is some parking.

I really want to love this place– but, I don’t. Last Thursday was my first visit to the new(er) Snoose on Holman– just down the road from where I live. I met a couple of friends up in the bar and left a little disappointed by the pie offering. The décor of the bar is pretty cool– I have to say that the metal work behind the bar is some of the coolest design I’ve seen– images of owls, bats and birds align adorn a forest scenery… in COPPER. Pretty cool. The ‘tender was pretty nice and poured a good shot of bourbon, but the pizza is probably why you’d want to come here and this is where Snoose just doesn’t do it for me. My buddies both ordered a veggie pizza that was delivered rather soggy– not what I’m looking for in a pie for sure. The sauce was– unspectacular… nothing to savor and the toppings just didn’t move me. That said– I would probably come here for a drink again so, one star for the décor, one star for stocking Knob Creek bourbon(they do have a great selection) and one star for friendly staff. When I come back– I’ll give the pie another go and hopefully this time around it’ll be worthy of writing home about.

I resisted going here because not only do I not really eat pizza(it’s yummy, but not something I should eat, okay?) but I really disliked the Ballard location when we went there. A lot. But Alex has been wanting to try this one, and it was supposed to be really different. Is this place even related to the Ballard Snoose? It is much nicer, and they have this great bar upstairs. The service was great, and in the bar, they have a record list(yes, a list of vinyl records that you can request to be played) that is exemplary. The cocktails were tasty and strong. They have an absinthe fountain!(I do not drink absinthe myself, but can see the appeal, and the lovely fountain really made me WANT to like the Green Fairy). The bruschetta and prosciutto/mozzarella appetizers were really good, and Alex loved his pizza. I had a half salad, and they were more than happy to put the meat on the side for me(I was worried there might be too much salami, but it was just right). The half salad is actually a really decent sized salad for $ 4.50, and it also, was good. Overall, great atmosphere, good service, good food! A little pricey, but I’m down with any place that plays The Pogues!

So first things first we got yelled at for entering the wrong door. We watched this happen to other patrons. Word to the wize: Your signs suck and not your patrons. Okay we got that out of the way. I am psyched that a Snoose Junction opened in my neck of the Greenwoods. I’d put this pizza in the«artisan» league. The vibe is much more edgy, but the pizza can go toe to toe with the fancy pants wood fire Seattle pizza restaurants. We got the Aglio e Olio which has an olive oil base, Yukon Gold potatoes, red onions, and gorgonzola. I love a potatoe pizza and the can get dry tasting quickly. No way, these people know how to make a freak’n pie. Moist and tasty.
