Crispy fries, toasted buns, make this place a hidden gem. Everything is amazing here!

Decent service, handy location, interesting burgers and sides. There is a taste re the burgers per se that I do not care for, it is not pesto but an herb of some kind or an extra seasoning/ingredient. I don’t like the burgers. I know, to each his own.

Off the freakin hook. If you have not tried this place you’re missing a local gem. Great burgers, excellent fries and rings and ez on the wallet. I highly recommend.

One of the best«fast food» burger joints in the Ballard/Fremont/Wallingford area. Even better than Red Mill. Their shakes are amazing, and I am not a shake person. I don’t even like the shakes at Dick’s. But I finished almost an entire Oreo shake from here(even though it was my boyfriend’s) because they’re that good. Double bacon cheeseburger was enormous — about 1.5x the size of a burger from five guys or red mill. Fries were delicious and reminiscent of McDonald’s(in a good way because, let’s be real, McDonald’s fries are super good). Only way that they were different from Mickey D’s is they’re fried to order, a little thicker, and still good when cold. Chicken strips were juicy and crunchy. Chicken strips, large fries, double bacon cheeseburger, and a big shake cost a total of $ 20 after tax and were made to order and only took 5 – 8 min to get ready. Will definitely be back!

So, why does this place advertise staying open until 9PM? Second review here. I showed up at 835PM and they were closed. Ridiculous!

So I used to work here. I read the review— I think by Molly? That said that a girl was adding tips to people’s cards. From experience I can tell you that’s pretty much not possible, we didn’t take tips on card there, you could only receive cash tips, which were counted out and distributed at the end of your shift. You’d have to be DAMN crafty to get that past the owner. It’s more likely it was the confusion of that ancient frigging till. It should be replaced along with the floors of they’re still as bad as they were. I liked the food well enough when I had my free meal every shift, always had a turkey melt. Left because I was getting way better pay at my pizza job. Wasn’t the best job I ever had but there are worse out there. Scott’s a great guy, co-workers were okay but everyone was often unhelpful when I needed assistance. Onion rings are your best bet, they’re handmade and delicious. Same with mushrooms. And I was darn near addicted to the shakes. For reference if you’ve been there, I was the girl who played The Smiths and The Cure on the odd saturday morning in 2014.

I usually love their food. But went there the other night, and ordered the usual. Bacon Cheese burger, fries and a milkshake. I could only eat half of the burger. The patty itself was under cooked, and the bacon burnt. My dog enjoyed it :)

They make THE perfect onion rings. Sometimes I crave them they are so delicious! I always order the same thing, bacon cheeseburger, onion rings with tarter and a strawberry shake(which is equally delicious)! They are made to order so you may be have to wait a few minutes, but the staff is always friendly and when it’s nice out you can sit outside at one of the picnic tables!

First the things deserving of 5 stars: Mushroom burger — Literally steaming hot and juicy. Good flavored sauce Counter Employee — Very friendly and helpful Shakes — Very good and the small size is a great size if you don’t want to over do it Why did it lose a star? Biggest concern was the bare hand contact with my food. Grill guy handled raw beef then bare handed made the burger. The other employee had one glove on by still touch the sandwiches and fries Second thing would be the fact that the place looked old and run down Overall I would go back because the burger was really good

I live very close to this place, finally decided to try it out. Got the bacon cheeseburger and peanut butter shake. Friendly staff, I would give the burger three stars, wasn’t a huge fan of their sauce. Next time would get without. The peanut butter shake… 5 stars, one of the best I have ever had. Very thick, with peanut butter on the sides of the cup, yum.

Awesome selection for vegans/vegetarians which is RARE. Enjoyed a veggie pesto and mushroom burger with fries just last night. And the other best part — $$! Great value. I’ll be back.

we stopped by here for lunch and was pretty impressed. The menu was simple and not overwhelming. I got the cheeseburger, fry’s and a shake. The burger was really good and a nice size. Kind of reminds me of the burger stands you see in small towns. The Shake was really really good. It kept me full for the next 6 hours!

Probably my favorite burger in Seattle. I like to get the double cheeseburger with bacon and although I can finish it on my own, I think I feel better if I share it. It’s just a good, solid, no frills burger that is delicious every time I have it. It makes me think of In n Out burger but bigger and with bacon. One of these days, I’m going to pay the extra quarter to try it with sourdough bread. The fries and good and the big of chocolate shake I had the last time I was there was delicious. See you soon, Scooter’s!

What a hidden gem of a burger place. I discovered Scooters based on Unilocal reviews when i needed lunch near Jo-Ann Fabrics. I’ve gotten the bacon cheese burger with a small fry both times and the quality is great and consistent. The staff is friendly and will offer suggestions if you don’t know what to get. The décor is super bare-bones. There is seating inside, but it’s just along the front window. I like that they have a large parking lot too.

I’m really stunned this place has such good reviews. My grilled chicken sandwich tasted off – there was something about the marinade that was kind of medicine-y. The fries weren’t very good. I tried a burger and it wasn’t very good. The staff was nice, but the food was gross. I’d never come back!

Sliding Burger Scale. Cheap burgers(not gourmet), made really quickly, loaded with all the artery clogging goodness your heart desires. The taste is actually really good. In all likeliness the patties are frozen but the seasoning they use must be what makes it so good. «Extra MSG please!» It’s a no frills type of joint with one long sit down counter along the window. Perfect place to get a take-away order. Most people that come in are blue-collar types of fellas. One of them exclaiming jubilantly«Ah, shit you got pink milkshakes??» With nearby fast food giants on the prowl and Five Guys on the way, I feel it important to support these little spots that have tons of charm and a certain type of individuality to them. I do love Five Guys, but every one in the US is the same. That goes for McD’s, Wendy’s, Burger King, etc. Support the local guys. You get more out of it and the burgers are better. Not worth a special-special trip, but if you’re in Ballard and want a quick burger, it is worth a visit.

Inexpensive. Delicious. Rich in taste and milkshakes. What’s not to love. Get the burger dip or BLT, depending on the degree of your belt and how many notches you’re looking to adjust for.
