Flat out the best, most interesting, highest quality ciders in Seattle. Everything from Chai-Der to Siracha Lime cider… this place is amazing. It is made even better by the incredibly personable Sarah Silverman, who might be the most engaging ‘tender you will ever run into. We are absolutely coming back to this place as much as possible, next time dragging in a growler to take more back with us!

I don’t really like cider that much. I wouldn’t say the cider I ordered here(the Sriracha lime) was a particular exception. It was interesting. I give this place points for creativity. I’ve never been to a cider house before and I must say that I did not know that Sriracha Lime cider(or many of the other interesting options) existed. We were there on a weeknight and they had a happy hour deal — $ 1 off house ciders — always a good thing, although I wished that it was $ 1 off any cider. Like a lot of bars and breweries, they have a good collection of games to keep things interesting. We played Cards Against Humanity. Nonetheless, there was something a little dark and tiresome about the atmosphere that I can’t put my finger on. Overall, I had a nice time there, but probably wouldn’t rush back.

I fell in love when I stepped foot in this cider house! Probably the best ciders I have ever tasted in my life. They have roughly 32 ciders on tap and the best thing is that all the ciders are color coordinated based on how sweet or how dry the cider is.(this helps instead of asking the workers which ones are dry, which ones are sweet, etc). The price for a paddle of 6 ciders is only $ 12.00(what a steal!). You can also add extra cider cups for $ 2.00 per one! I would go back to Seattle just to go her and drink all their delicious drinks all day!

Ciders on tap. Yes please! Seriously delicious selections of many different ciders; different flavors, different brewers. All in one place! They also had refrigerated cases of bottles to choose from. Fantastic find! So glad our friends suggested we stop here and try it out.

This place was such a fun find that we stumbled upon. We don’t have any cider houses in our area of NJ but I’m sure they do exist… somewhere. They have A LOT to choose from all color coded to show you whether it is dry, semi-dry, semi-sweet, or sweet. We ordered a flight which allows for six choices. We ordered a variety of six using a business card they give you with six empty slots. They then bring you the flight in the order in which you chose them. We ordered some good ones like pear or pomegranate flavored but we also chose a «different» one lime siracha lime flavored… good to just have a taste of it but not an entire glass haha. Dog friendly! There was a king charles sitting inside the bar with their owners. No one batted an eyelash. Again, not in NJ… haha but I wish NJ would become for dog friendly. Great experience would definitely come back again!

I love this place! They have a huge selection of cider, and you can try a bunch of of flavors by doing a tasting board. Nice seasonal selections, nice bartenders, and nice facility. They have board games if you want to hang out with friends and make a night of cider drinking. Or you can pick up a growler to go from the taps, or choose from their selection in the fridge. Also, they have a happy hour from 3 – 6, saving you a $ 1 off a pint.

This place is seriously so cute! I heard they’ve been opened for just about a year so everything is still relatively spacious. They have long tables but also bar seating. When you come in, it feels sort of warehouse-y with a line of fridges on the side for you to also buy bottles to bring back home. You can order a flight of up to 6 ciders for $ 12 for the entire flight, or $ 2 per taster size which is a steal. I filled up my entire flight because there were so many types of ciders to try. My favorites of the night were the Sriracha lime, cold brew(on nitro!), and the chai-der. I wish there was a Schilling out here in San Francisco, but if I ever make my way to Seattle again, I will definitely make sure to stop by here again!

Houston definitely needs a cool chill place like this. 32 ciders on tap. $ 2 tasters! How much better could it get?! oh yea! THeres a coffee cider! It was amazing. the waitress was so helpful and gave us great recommendations that fit each of our tastes. I didn’t like some of them, but that was to be expected and wasn’t her fault. They were just not flavors that I enjoyed. I really liked all of the schilling brand ciders. Very full flavors that were diverse but not too off the wall. I would recommend this to anyone. We even got to play a friendly game of battleship while drinking.

BOMBASSCIDER! This was my first time cider tasting and boy, did I pick the perfect place. They have over 30 ciders on tap and they change according to the season. For a cider flight, you fill out a card and pick up to 6 sampler ciders. They organize the ciders by colors so that you can choose between sweet, semi sweet and dry. I tried 5 different ciders and was pleased with all of them. Who knew a pumpkin spiced ale could taste so delicious? There is plenty of space and long, wide tables for large groups to chat and play games. They have abstract works of art across their walls to enjoy with the cider. There is plenty of bottled cider to take home!

As someone who loves cider, this is like letting a kid loose in a candy store. They have 24 or more on tap at any given time, including at least 6 of their own. What’s AWESOME is that they color code the listings into four categories: dry, semi dry, semi sweet, and sweet. That makes it so easy for someone like me to narrow it down. Tall tables and rail seating. No food, but feel free to bring in a snack from elsewhere.

Hands down, one of my favorite Seattle spots. I feel like cider is vastly under-appreciated as a beverage — beer and wine always reign king, and most of the places I go to have very limited offerings in terms of cider. Schilling does not disappoint. I recommend going with a flight of ciders to find out your favorite, before going with a pint or two(and a growler to take home). While you wait, there are tons of boardgames to play and just generally hang out with. Word to the wise — try ONETREEHARDCIDERCARAMELCINNAMON — which is basically apple pie in a glass. Yum!

I love cider, so I was over the moon when I found Schilling Cider House. Basically, they’re like World of Beer… but with CIDER! With 32 flavors available(beat that Baskin Robbins!), you can build an enormous flight. At $ 2 per quite generously sized sample, it’s completely worth it. Here’s what we tried: *Fin River Lavender Black Currant *Tie Ton Cherry *Original Sin Elderberry *Schilling Pomegranate *Schilling Sriracha Lime *2 towns Gooseberry The Fin River Lavender Black Currant was my favorite, no competition there. I liked it so much that I purchased a bottle to take home to Chicago with me. My second favorites were the Original Sin Elderberry and the 2 Towns Gooseberry. The Schilling Sriracha Lime was awful. I was intrigued, and I thought that two of us would be able to finish a sample, but it was really awful. The Sriracha burns your throat, and the lime doesn’t offer enough of a citrus to enjoy drinking it. It tastes like liquidfied pad Thai! I give them credit for trying to make something different though. Schilling sells most(maybe all?) of their ciders and guest ciders in many sizes. There’s a cooler inside or they can fill growlers to go. There’s lots of seating inside and some board games if your cider isn’t enough to entertain you.

With 32 hard ciders on tap and 250 hand selected ciders from around the world, you’ll want to check out Schilling Cider House in Seattle! The venue is gorgeous with tons of communal tables and around 6 – 8 bar seats. If you have the chance, grab one of the bar seats because the bartenders are fun to chat with! Flights are around $ 13, and you get to try six different ciders. They have a legend that tells you which ciders are sweet, semi-sweet, semi-dry, or dry. Everything is color coded so it’s easy for you to pick. My favorites were the pomegranate flavored ciders! If you’re ready to bring home some cider, they offer growlers for $ 5 plus how much each individual cider costs. They recommend you finishing the growler in two days so it’s still fresh. Cheers to enjoying good cider! :)

My sister introduced this place to me tonight. It is Uh-May-Zing!!! I love cider, and you can choose 6 different kinds for a tasting flight($ 13.15). You can also choose to have a tasting glass for $ 2 per glass. Price per pint varies depending on the tap you choose(32 types of cider to choose from!!!). If you fall in love with a cider you try, you can get a growler to take home. Lots of options here, which makes it a great place to check out on your own or with a friend or with a group of friends! Happy Hour M-F 12~6PM($ 1 off Schilling pints)! I will definitely come back, and bring my friends here as well.

I was very happy to see a cider bar! Even happier that cider is becoming so much more main stream because I love it. My friend and I each had a sampler, I really like that it’s not a set menu for the tasters so you can choose what you want. We got different ones and shared. My fav was the chai cider(can’t remember the name) it was unique and delicious! The bar tenders were really nice and service was very prompt. They have lots of board games to play also. The only downfall for me was no food. We had to leave to go to dinner or we would’ve stayed longer.

I don’t even know where to begin. If you like cider and are in the Fremont area… you MUST go! They have about 30 ciders on tap, color coded by how dry or sweet they are. You can order either a normal pint or go for their flights. Have 1 or all 30, they’re $ 2 per tasting glass. Then choose your favorite and buy a growler of it. If you don’t own a bottle already they sell them for $ 5. Seriously, if you’re considering this place, stop. Just go! I swear it is well worth it.

This place blew my mind: 32 ciders on tap! I believe the first 8 are their own ciders(all fantastic) and they have a healthy mix of dry, semi dry, semi sweet, and sweet, representing a lot of other great cider from the Pacific Northwest. Really awesome service, and fun atmosphere, complete with a shelf of board games. Ample seating at long wooden tables with a very casual but spirited vibe.

This feels more like a store(as opposed to a bar) with tables, chairs, and couches for hanging out and drinking at — it’s kind of great! They have a TON of ciders on tap, both Schilling and other labels. And they also have a big refrigerated section of bottle/can/growler ciders you can purchase. I would recommend going with the flight of cider where you get to select up to six different ciders with each pour being pretty generous! The place isn’t huge so larger groups, while possible, may be difficult depending on the night and how busy they are. At the same time you could also come here and work on a laptop while enjoying a cider(think coffee shop hang out but with alcohol instead). The staff here are also very nice and helpful if you need recommendations. I would STRONGLY recommend this cider bar over the other cider bar I’ve been to located in Capitol Hill. You’ll get a better selection, better atmosphere, and hands down better service. They’re also dog friendly!

So many options! I came with some friends to check this place out, and it’s definitely a neat place to hang out and enjoy some cider. Not only are there a wide range of drinks to choose from, the prices are very reasonable for what you get. I tried their golden cider, which was tasty. Light and sweet with a bit of crisp. The place is a little small and it can be tricky to find parking. Also, we had a pregnant friend who couldn’t drink alcohol, and their non alcoholic drink selection was limited, but I guess that’s to be expected.

32 ciders on tap! This trap room also provides bottled cider from their fridge! Also, they have water on tap for patrons to serve themselves. Adorable. They have a chalkboard that lists the brewery and cider name and is also color coded by flavor category(sweet, semisweet, semidry, dry). You can bring outside food in and they have communal tables, a few bar stools, and a loveseat for customers to enjoy their beverages. They provide pints($ 5 – 8), growler fills($ 12 – 19), and flights($ 2/3oz serving). I highly recommend getting a flight of a few ciders before deciding on one to fill grower with… There are just so many options to choose from! Flavors range from funky mixtures to classic Apple. My boyfriend and I tried a flight of 9 different ciders and two pints! First point was the Schilling Orange Cream Peach(way too sweet for us, should have tried it first haha) and second was 2Towns Nice n’ Naughty which was so delicious! Unfortunately 10% alcohol and I got toasty from it ;). The flight consisted of original sin cherry(so tart — not very sweet), 2towns nice and naughty(semi-sweet seriousness), schilling gold(very, very sweet), schilling sriracha lime(spicy, smells like sriracha), docs raspberry(fruity and semisweet), red track grinch(tart not too sweet), rev nats hopricot(light beer flavor, smells hoppy), schilling spiced(nutmeg and cinnamon spice and sweet), Seattle cider 3 pepper(earthy, tastes like sugared jalapeño). Come visit if you’re interested in ciders and trying new things. Ambience is hipster to no end and I felt super uncool but this place was so awesome I appreciated being there. Arrive before 6:30 to beat the crowd.
