Eaten here once with my relatives. Good food and service. Its more of a karaōke restaurant. You can eat with friends, drink, and sing all night. It’s quite loud, so it would be a more suitable place for you and some friends. I actually brought my mother-in-law here, so it really wasn’t her scene or anybody older. I wouldn’t say this is a tourist type of place. The atmosphere does feel like I’m in Vietnam. I plan to come by someday with some of my buds to try out the food again. This place may not be for all people. You’ll have to actually go to Vietnam to appreciate this type of environment. I don’t recall what food I ordered, but they do have a variety of good choices. Recommended for all my people from Vietnam…

I admit I’ve been hesitant coming by this area at night simply because of the vibe and denial of things to try –BZZ!- wrong. Looking for a new place to check out after work late one night, I decide to swing by here for take-out: I called prior to get bbq pork fried rice to go. They have dinner prices higher at night, which I kind of don’t see justifiable when I can get a better fried rice from other places. I s’pose the more lively vibe and Vietnamese MV’s playing scoots it up a bit? That was nice eye candy, though… as Will«Fresh Prince» Smith once said, « — -DAMN!» The gal with the better english took care of me and was pleasant. We chatted a small bit and she mentioned how the place used to have a more rowdier crowd… it was definitely much more toned down that night I went. I wonder what kind of karaōke songs they have?

Thought this was a sleazy nightclub with overpriced drinks and rude service. Walked in expecting the worst, and was pleasantly surprised. Went with 8 friends, all ordered different things: Phở, Fried Rice, Mongolian beef, Vietnamese rice dishes, chow mein– all of the food was excellent! Totally did not expect that, from the looks of the joint…

Forgive me for giving a five star rating, first. Secondly, I must say that, were it I did not live so close, I may never have come here. Thirdly, it must be said that I am eternally glad that I did. The food and service here is greater than most any I have encountered in the year I’ve lived in Seattle. I ended up creating this account primarily so that I could give this place the review it deserves! I know other places do too, but this really was impetus for me to finally make a Unilocal.Saigon Nice is a little out of the way in Beacon Hill, but if you ever want the real deal… and I mean the real deal awesome Vietnamese semi-casual just plain fantastic experience all-around, check it out, you will not be let down. Seriously. P. S. After around 8:30ID is required, it turns into more of a karoke type scene now and again, all in Vietnamese, though I’ve never asked for american songs… love this place, they’re really great.

I stopped in to grab some dinner with friends, before the«nightlife» kicked in. The place is a cavernous restaurant/dance club with mirrors in the back and had all but a couple lights turned out and had an eerie glow from the green florescent lighting. It kinda reminded me of the end of ‘Enter the Dragon’ with Bruce Lee. The bartender/waitress seemed genuinely surprised to see a few«round eyes» there for dinner. She was really gracious and hospitable and did her best to make us feel welcome. The spring rolls were average but not bad, I had a noodle soup with seafood, fish ball and BBQ pork. I liked the soup and the waitress seemed shocked that my buddy and I kept heaping chili into our soups and gave us the«you’re sure you want to do that?» look. The food was decent, but I think I will take it to go.
