I had work done by Rocky about a year ago. He was done extremely quick and did a high quality job for much less than the other estimates. He was also extremely knowledgeable and willing to hear me out. I would recommend him. It was tough to get a hold of him but he was worth it.

These guys are great! They go above and beyond normal service to get the job done. I would highly recommend them! If you have leaking water problems give them a call.

Terrible business. I called them two weeks ago and left a voice message and never received a call back. I then called again about a week later and got someone on the phone. He happily set up an appointment to come and give me an estimate for the work I need done. He did NOT show up for the appointment, never called to apologize or reschedule, and once again will not answer their phone or return my call. I can’t imagine how a company expects to stay in business when you treat customers this way. In short, the WORST customer service I’ve ever received from a business like this.

Very pleased with customer service, speed, and (as far as I know so far!) the results of having a sump-​pump and french drain thing installed at my little bungalow in Wallingford. Rocky was patient and thorough in the first consultation and then showed up on time to do the work and has offered to come back and explain to me – and my renters – how it all works, etc. if we need help. Thanks Rocky!

During the fall of 2012, our rental house developed more substantial leaks than we had ever seen before. To make matters worse, the current renters had packed the basement full with expensive personal property. After several bids, all the contractors recommended cutting through the concrete floor to install an interior french drain. Because of all the valuable items stored in the basement, we stressed several times how important it was not to create a huge mess and covering everything with concrete dust and mud. Rocky’s crew covered EVERYTHING very professionally… even sealed the door to the upstairs. I inspected after the job and couldn’t find a speck of dust or mud anywhere. They arrived at 9 a.m. and were finished by noon! Better yet, their invoice arrived exactly at the original bid price! What can you say but WOW?

We had Rocky install a french drain in our basement, in Spring of last year. We’ve had no issues with water in our basement since then. His work was high quality, on time and very reasonably priced, in comparison to other bids. He went above and beyond by taking the time to help me with several other issues in our basement. I would do business with Rocky again.

We had our system installed in 2003. For the last 8 years we haven’t had any issues. Some moisture became apparent during this last winter and the system was starting to back-​up. I called to have someone look at our system. Rocky scheduled an appointment with me within the next 4 days. He showed up on time and spent about 30 minutes looking at our system trying to assess the problem. Long story short, I needed to have the system flushed by Roto-​Rooter (a recommended practice every 4 years, btw). Despite being unable to assist immediately, Rocky let it be known that he was going to get our problem solved for us if the system flush didn’t help. Felt like he stood behind their product, even 8 years later.

We had half an inch of water in our finished basement after we got 3″ of rain overnight at our house in early December 2010. The carpet was ruined, so we had to tear it all out, along with the baseboards which were soaking wet. Rite-​Way was in the top 3 of basement waterproofing companies on Angie’s List with positive reports, so I called them and was able to make an appointment for someone to check out our basement a week later. Other companies weren’t even answering their phones or returning calls, probably because of all the flooded houses that weekend.
Rocky arrived right on time, and we explained what happened to him. He checked different areas around the outside walls of the basement where the water could have come in and even walked around the perimeter of the house with us to check the downspouts for potential issues. We explained our theories to him, and he suggested alternatives and recommended ways for us to monitor the situation and determine the actual cause of the flooding rather than trying to talk us into building an expensive French drain or jackhammering the basement floor to install a sump pump. He was very professional and straightforward.
If we have to install a French drain or sump pump in the future, we would definitely call Rite-​Way for an estimate.

Unforgiveable customer service lands these guys a one star! I had a leak in my basement. The owner Dan came and did an inspection and he was knowledgeable and friendly enough. It was his technician, Rocky, that was horrible– we had to reschedule our first appt because he was severely late (more than an hour) and I had to be at work. Even the rescheduled appt he was late for by 20 mins without so much as an apology! When I made it known to the lady who books appts, she says that they don’t keep track of his schedule. I’m confused. So who is this guy accountable to?
Anyway, the work done was satisfactory, the leak was repaired but there now stands a gaping hole where the wall needs to be patched up. Rocky and I had been playing phone tag, both parties playing might I emphasize, but hadn’t been able to connect. About 3 attempts on both ends were made. And get this, Dan leaves me a threatening voicemail and says that his technician has been calling me and hasn’t been getting a response and so I had better return Rockys call or pay my bill. Wow! I was floored. I understand supporting your employees but this was way out of line. Way to get your facts straight before spouting off. I can’t imagine I’m the first person who has had this problem with said technician.
I am going to pay my bill with Rite-​Way and get the hole repaired elsewhere. The work was satisfactory but I would gladly pay somebody else with a responsible and mature staff.
