Being from California I read the reviews about Dick’s being like In-N-Out They weren’t too far from the mark Pros: +Similar to In-N-Out +Food is ready made so it is instant + Open Late Cons: –Felt it was a smaller lower quality In-N-Out, still good though. –Food was already made so it tells you something. –Cash Only

My go-to if I’m in the mood for a strawberry milkshake or a dicks deluxe. My husband and I came back from a trip overseas and were wanting a burger with all the fix– ins. We enjoyed our burger and rejoiced being back on American turf. The burgers are locally sourced as well as their ingredients they use on most of their products. Hands down, I would rate this one of Washington States staples.

My expectations were high for here and perhaps that’s my mistake beyond the old school burger joint charm I don’t see the praise. I had the deluxe and it was ok but nothing to get excited about. The lady somehow accomodated my request to remove the pickles. The option to remove something should be there though. The line is slow but the food is for the most part already made. For what it’s worth its very cheap. We got a deluxe, special, 2 fries and a drink all for under $ 10. So you get what you pay for. A nickel for each additional ketchup Isn’t a big deal but what a bother and its hard to dump on your burger. It’s nice to have that novelty but things like that should be a bit more modernized. Lastly my peeve of peeves, cash only ugh. On top of this, no signs warning you! Decent at best food but that’s about it.

I thought it was ok, for fast food. Meaning fast food being already had it made behind the counter before I even ordered. There were all pre made, makes u wounded how long they had been sitting out. Also had to pay for condiments???

Dick’s is ok. Burger is mediocre, service is kinda slow, it does have a retro vibe. It is Meh.

Does Dick’s ever change? I hope not as my mom ate here growing up and they still have great tasting burgers and fries!

This place is consistently awesome. You can always find the greasy burger and limp, wonderful potato-tasting fries waiting for you. Your meal is only complete with a milkshake of your flavor preference.

Dick’s is a solid old school drive in style burger joint. I really enjoy everything on the menu and can’t think of anything that I would like to change. On my visits I always double up on the burgers and fries as they are a little on the small size. Combine that with the milkshakes and you have your self a great picnic lunch/dinner date.

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would, but Unilocal apparently thinks that everyone should at least be given one star… I went to Dick’s for the first time tonight and to my surprise asking them to omit mustard from your hamburger is something that they are unable or unwilling to do. I find it difficult to understand that they are able to make a burger by putting something on it, but are unable to make it without putting something on it, even it you are allergic to it. Upon telling the cashier that I was allergic to mustard and she stated she could not make my burger by omitting everything on it, I just ordered french fries. To my surprise, when I got home and opened my bag, she ever so nicely included a burger WITH mustard for me… very nice.

Simple menu, but fast service. They sell my favorite fast food fries(and they are fresh and hand cut!). A simple hamburger will set you back about $ 1.90, and is served on a fresh bun with a lean patty with ketchup and mustard. And old standby that will fill your belly, as it did mine on the commute home from work when the munchies hit. Hubby had two cheeseburgers and they quickly satisfied his burger craving. Do I think Dick’s are the best burgers I’ve ever had? No, but when compared with other fast food choices ya gotta pick local and fresh and Dick’s fits the bill. PS: 3 burgers and a side of fries set us back less than $ 7 which isn’t too bad.

I have monthly meetings in this area for a group I volunteer with. I’m not gonna lie, after a long day of work, these meetings aren’t always what I look forward to. However, I always make sure I turn my frown upside down by getting some Dick’s burgers! This place delivers the usual Dick’s experience and food. Consistency is always welcome. However, they are also consistently slow. I’m not sure what’s up with that. Even when there’s not that many people, I find myself getting impatient waiting for my simple order of a Deluxe, a cheeseburger, and fries. I still really enjoy the food here, but I just wish it was a little faster service. As with all Dick’s, this place is cash only. There is an ATM if you don’t have any with you. There’s also a restroom. Ok, now I want some Dick’s burgers. When’s my next meeting?

Fast delicious and cheap what more could you ask for from a food joint! If you haven’t had any food from here you don’t know what you’re missing out on!

Hamburgers deluxe are small kine good but their fries are crappy. So small and soggy with oil… yuck! But it is what it is… I was hungry… not worth it. Couple more dollars and you can get a good meal from any place else.

Ever since moving from California to Washington I have long for there to be an in and out burger here. Until that happens dicks will suffice, the burgers definitely aren’t on the same level as in and out burgers and fries but it is the best thing for the state of Washington has that comes even close to being comparable. Super cheap, already made to go, I just don’t like that you can’t customize your order so I am docking them a star ha ha;)

To the people complaining about not being able to customize their order: don’t be dense please. If they customize your order, then they’ll be obligated to customize everyone else’s too. For everyone else this triples the wait time, increases the prices, etc. Why should Dicks water down their service for everyone else just so you can have your special little burger without mustard? Is a dab of mustard really going to kill you people? lol. As for the food? Cheap, tasty, usually fast service — pretty much the ideal burger joint. It simply doesn’t get cheaper than Dicks — usually going to McD’s or elsewhere I’d end up spending twice as much for the same amount of food. It’s nice they’re open generously late and have some of the best in-house tartar sauce and shakes you can get your hands on in the area.

This place was BOMB.COM. I walked in and looked at the menu and I was so shock with the prices! It was incredibly cheap and the burgers were pretty good! If you are traveling from CA, I definitely recommend coming to this place! I also find out that this place really helps out college kids by providing them with jobs and scholarships so they can support themselves financially. So support these kids!

I was told this is Seattle’s own burger joint and was excited to try it. When I arrived, I found a large parking lot with a walk up window and a long line. The food was served quick but the line moved slowly anyways. The staff really take care of you before they move onto the next customer which is great. I had the Dick’s special which was alright for it’s price but the hand-dipped chocolate shake I had was delicious! Tip: get a shake Pro: cheap Con: not tastey

Of course its not the best burger you’ve ever had in your life, nor is it the best burger in Seattle but it is a Seattle classic. Its like what In & Out is to LA. kind of. Also it really hits the spot after those late night adventures. The never use frozen patties, fries are hand cut and shakes are hand dipped… these things are always a plus. I generally get a Special w/fries and a strawberry shake. I love the Strawberry Shake here. Than I usually feel nasty afterwards… but I guess its all part of the package. The Holman Rd location is my favorite and IMO the best one, its been around forever. Service is fast and friendly like usual. I rarely go to Dicks(about twice a year) but when I do it gets the job done.
