I ordered the«Radical» bowl, which included salmon and tuna sashimi. It also had cabbage, carrots, broccoli, and other vegetables. The fish was great, but the rice was mushy. I also got the«Cowboy» which is spicy bulgogi beef, vegetables, and equally mushy rice. The bulgogi is certainly not the best I’ve had, and I would not order it again. The service was quick, though. If I’m craving sashimi for lunch and am in a crunch to get back to the office quickly, I’d likely return for a sashimi bowl.

What a great lunch option! I got the Alaskan, a bowl that seems to be a fan favorite. It’s sashimi salmon, Krab, veggies, rice and a light sauce. There aren’t any other places in this area that I know of where you can get such a big portion, with fresh well cut fish for less than $ 10. I will absolutely be back for the Alaskan bowl!

So good! I got the Alaska Bowl(#18). It was inexpensive, very large portion, and the vegetables and salmon were extremely fresh. The salmon was raw and just melted in my mouth. They are quick and cater to professionals on lunch but they certainly do not skimp on quality. They have a wide variety of bowls to choose from. From meat to seafood to spicy to vegetarian, it is almost limitless it seems. I’d highly recommend this place and come again.

Delicious place! Haven’t been able to find anything this good in Dallas yet! Love all the fresh veggies and adding avocado to the central bowl made it rocking!

Another Unilocaler, wisely said, «Good, fast, cheap — pick two.» Unfortunately, I only got«fast.» Went in to try their udon bowls. Despite having a variety of seafood options in the other bowls, they don’t offer any for the udon menu. They offer a tempura shrimp & veggie bowl and a tempura vegetable udon bowl, so I asked if I could have order a shrimp udon or just add tempura shrimp to the tempura veggie udon and pay extra. Apparently this was impossible. And hey, it’s your restaurant, so it’s your prerogative. I get that. My low rating is primarily based on the poor quality of the food. I ended up ordering the tempura shrimp & veggie bowl. 1. The shrimp is not tempura. It’s prepackaged coconut shrimp like you’d find in your grocery store’s frozen food section by the fish sticks. 2. The veggies consisted solely of vinegary cabbage and a single baby carrot. So for $ 9 you get 5 small frozen food section coconut shrimp and a scattering of unappetizing sweet & sour vinegar veggie(s) not worth half as much. Even Captain D’s or Long John Silvers(god forbid) would have been a better value. I won’t be returning, which is a shame because I had better hopes given the reviews. My friend’s teriyaki bowl was equally disappointing. Moving on.

Super small place but pretty good. The bulgogi is delicious, the last time I went there got the chicken Katsu which made me want the bulgogi so next time I go it’s bulgogi time baby!

Good lunch spot — I usually get Alaskan or Radical bowl. They allow you to get brown rice instead of white. I got udon before but it was too salty. Their earth bowl is popular too.

This place gives you really fresh fish and vegetables and no matter how long the line is they move it quick! If you’re looking for a quick, healthy, light lunch this is the place. Most of the non-fish options are not as great, so I would stick with those. The radical bowl is the best.

LOVE this spot for lunch! My only complaint is that there isn’t more food. But everything else is perfect! They are quick and the food is delicious. I really only like the rice bowls. I didn’t really like the tempura or the udon but when I stuck with the rice bowls I always liked it.

Dish sizes are small. And the salmon is not fresh enough.

I had their bibimbap once and my impression was that the portions were small compared to the price they were charging. They were really stingy with some of the ingredients, such as the gochujang(red pepper paste) and the bulgogi. It was really bland and the shitake mushroom at least saved the blandness of this dish. The older lady took my order but she looked really bored and as she was charging for my dish, she didn’t even say how much it was so I had to ask her how much it is. She just stood there clicking on the register. The place overall had a variety of dishes, which was nice, but again I really doubt that the portions are any better. They all looked pretty small to me. I don’t think I want to come back here for their rice bowls, but perhaps I may try their udon. My coworker goes there all the time for udon, so maybe that’s ok.

Good, fast, cheap — pick two. Pros: fast and cheap. From order to receiving my food at the counter, maybe 3 minutes. Very fast. Lots of options too — mostly consisting of rice with iceberg lettuce and carrot over it, and a meat(chicken, beef, or seafood). I paid something like $ 9 for my bulgogi bowl. Cons: lackluster quality. It was food, and it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. It didn’t wow me and wasn’t really distinctive in any way. I probably won’t go back. It wasn’t terribly crowded during the noon lunch hour, which is nice, but the space is a bit charmless so it all balanced out to a shoulder shrug and an ‘eh’ from me.

Super duper fast and lots of choices and pretty cheap! I have a feeling that this will become my go to lunch place when I don’t bring my own food(ended up going there 3 times in one week!) Warning: their spicy bowls might be too spicy for some, especially the hwe dup bap.

I will return. I got the spicy salmon bowl. Yes, it was about $ 10 but it was a lot of food. I felt they did not skimp on the seafood which was surprising. The seafood tasted fresh & had great flavor. The vegetables tasted like sesame! There is some seating in the location.

They have some good, fresh fish dishes. Also, your food is ready in a short period of time. I’m a fan.

Everyday the owner takes the orders. They are fast and friendly. Food is good, worth the price. Such a great quick stop for take out or eat in lunch. Several vegetarian options!

I passed Red Bowls a dozen times, not in one day, but since I started working in downtown Seattle. Once I was through the door, there was no turning back. Red Bowls can seat, maybe 20 – 25 guests, shoulder-to-shoulder. +1 For the menu selection +1 For the beverage selection +1 For the quick service –1 For the sub-par food –1 For the cleanliness, mostly the signs behind the counter +1 For the coziness I needed some raw fish. When I try out new lunch spots, I have two settings: 1. Proceed with Caution and 2. Go big, or go home. I decided to go big with the Samurai Bowl that included salmon, tuna, albacore, one I cannot name, and a yellow-orange block. On the bottom, was steamed white rice. The middle layer had some veggies in a light sauce of some sort. On top, the fish of course, with a slice of lemon, pickled ginger, some wasabi, and another pickled vegetable/fruit(mango?) With tax, this bowl brought me to: $ 13.07. A decent rice: veggie:fish ratio. I will come back because they are quick and they quite a selection on their menu from udon to cooked fish bowls to teriyaki to bibimbap with more vegetarian options compared to other places.

I go here all the time for lunch. Yes, nearly everything is served in a red bowl but the menu is still somewhat diverse. If you get the Bibimbap make sure you get that fried egg on top. I like the Radical bowl… throw some avocado on that. Their Katsu is also great. They’re ok with special orders too so if you want brown rice instead or no vegetables, etc. it’s no problem. Check this place out. Just don’t expect sit down service or anything fancy. It’s a hole in the wall, but a good one.

A co-worker suggested we come here for lunch since he’s had it before. Unfortunately, the meal was a bit lack luster. I ordered the chicken and beef combo over rice and veggies. I’m not sure why the chicken was a bit of an orange color, despite being teriyaki chicken. It was also chewy and salty. The redeeming feature from this restaurant was the California roll, which was very well made. Not rushing back anytime soon.

Really, this place has a lunch time rush? They are gruff, barking for you to order and pay. Well, they over charged me and when I said something they fought with me. I was with my friends so I paid and sat down. The food was ok but not worth the rest of my afternoon in the restroom. Yes, this place made me so sick. STAYAWAY! I GOTFOODPOISONINGHERE.
