I started having trouble with my 1993 Buick back in August and heard about Jason through a trusted friend. He has helped me fix multiple parts in the car and has always been very straightforward about what needed to be prioritized and what could wait. He is very honest, kind, and easy to work with and his prices are fair. He takes the time to talk to you about the issues in the car and explain tem in depth if you seem interested.
Recently, I had him look at a car I was considering buying. His overall check was detailed and very quick. I trust him and will certainly be using him for my car issues for now on (hopefully not often).

Had some issues with my brakes. Took it in 3 times when he essentially re-​did the entire job with new parts each time, based on his own recommendation of not liking the new parts, and while he didn’t charge me for the second two brake jobs, he never did find the squealing in my brakes. (Apparently the rear brake drum just needed to be dusted out. I can’t blame him too harshly, he tried to make it right and 4 other shops couldn’t find the problem either.)
The rest of why I’m annoyed is probably less his fault than I feel like it is, I feel like he could have stressed the importance of a particular repair before putting it off caused $ 2000 of damage to other systems. But I’m not actually certain that damage wasn’t already done because he was the third person to look at it and the first one to find the problem, and I DID make the choice to put off the repair. So I’m grumpy but that’s maybe not his fault.

I took my car in for the 60K and 75K scheduled maintenance since neither had been done. Jason checked everything over, replaced what needed replacing, didn’t charge a fortune or find any «hidden» issues. I knew he would do a great job coming from Gorman Auto.

I brought my car here after it wouldn’t start and had been flashing the check-​engine light for a week or two, on the recommendation of a friend. Jason was so friendly, and identified the problem quickly. He was fair and honest about how urgently (or not) I needed a new battery, and had it ordered and installed for me the next day!
I will be coming back here for all my car needs — they are the best!

You know id like to think I know a lot about cars … I dont ! Good thing these guys do ! Jason and Lee are top notch guys. I dropped my suburban off not knowing why it was running so rough. In no time the call came back with a few reasons as to why it was running bad. I ok’d the work and they were off. I got a call within 24 hours to come pick it up. This truck has never ran better ! Do yourself a favor and bring your car here. I guarantee you will not get the run around or feel like you’ve just been bent over… trust me read some of my reviews I had some bad mechanics. I highly recommend Jason if you ever have the unlucky need for a mechanic. I took my car to him when his shop was in Magnolia and to his new location in Ballard. He is honest, has fair prices and fast! My radiator blew out today. I called in the morning, brought it in at noon and he had it ready for me to pick up by 4:30pm — AMAZING!

I’ve had Jason work on my vechicles for the last 10 years while he was at Gormans Auto. Before that it was Jim Gorman or his brother. I’m now taking my vechicle to him at his new location becasue he’s always done a good job and I don’t want anyone else to work on my car. I know what ever work I’ve asked him to do will be done right.
