I’m very tolerant of the homeless people in seattle, but the entry way on Harvard has a problem. I’m always harassed as well as constant begging when I enter and exit, and constantly witness drug deals and tweakers freaking out. Qfc has security. Why don’t you stop following customers who wear backpacks(everyone) and tend to the loitering issue at your business front.

They have excellent cheese wine and vegetable selections. Their customer service was outstanding for a large store. A cashier who was not too busy took us to the wine case to help with our choices. It had the feel of a tiny mom and pop.

Well, it’s two blocks away and they have pretty much everything I need but I have some big gripes. First and foremost, it burns my piss that the Capitol Hill snobbery elite feel that they can bring their dogs into a supermarket. I love dogs, but the supermarket is NOT where you can bring your freaking dog. There are signs everywhere, but they go intentionally ignored so more often than not there are little rat-like creatures walking around and their owners don’t even seem to give a dogs ass, extending the leash so people have to walk around THEM. Just plain disrespectful, so they need to police this more. dogs don’t belong in a place where people are purchasing food. I feel two ways about the deli cutting your meat per-order. It is a lot fresher this way, but it usually takes longer and sometimes a queue forms and it can take a while due to there being only a couple slicers for cheese and meat. Though most of the deli employees are nice, I witnessed one of them lazily tossing one of the bagged meats back towards the cooler after slicing and it fell onto the floor, after which point she just put it back and smirked. Did it right in front of me and didn’t even seem to care. I love floor meat. For some reason they don’t utilize half of the self-checkout kiosks in the morning. I don’t understand this logic because almost every time I’ve gone earlier than noon a line forms which would not exist if they simply turned on the other scanners. I’m pretty much defaulted to this place since it is close, but this QFC could certainly benefit from little improvements.

(This review is for the deli department) Every year, during Lent, QFC advertises fish sandwiches from their deli department. I do my shopping on Wednesdays. Both last week and then again this week, I was told that they didn’t have the sandwiches. The employees in the deli have a smirk-y attitude. Maybe it’s a good thing I didn’t buy their food – who knows what they do to it in the back room? Both last week and this, I talked to managers about the store not having what they advertise. They must not be very effective if this problem persists, week-to-week.

It’s a chain grocery store. That’s just the way it is. In Seattle that’s a bad thing I guess. Very picky people here. Yes there are some homeless outside but it’s Capitol Hill. The produce is the best part. S for not having a bathroom with the homeless population outside it would be tough. Groceries can be pricey but it’s just like any major grocery store that has a discount card. They make up for the discounts with the higher priced stuff. Between this and Trader Joes you can get everything you need at reasonable prices. Who reviews grocery stores? I just wanted to give it a shout out for the good produce

I like shopping at QFC. It great they have a small parking lot. The place is spacious and clean. lots of room to push your buggy. Prices are a bit more expensive because it is a QFC.

the selection of corn nuts at this establishment is frankly an embarrassment. just bbq and original. all bueno tho, lucky for me i tend to stick to the original as the flavor dustings of the other varieties clings to my hands. especially in high humidity conditions. — 1 star for abysmal corn nut selection. +1 star for the sweet price of 99 cents per sack. AA++ would shop again but beware, dont expect this to be any sort of corn nut bonanza

Patrick who is a manager is such a poor rude costumer service. He doesn’t deserve to be as a manager. His behaviour is an appropriate and doesn’t listen about what I’m talking. He should be fired. Qfc s quality is definitely destroying.

When you try to purchase alcohol at the self checkout, you(generally) have to wait for the person running that area to ID you. «Attendant has been notified to assist you.», said the ambivalent kiosk. Logic dictates the person working that area, sees on their screen, some sort of flashing notification to take care of that customer. Along with a beep, or a ding to reinforce it. Mind you, they can’t even take care of all 10 kiosks, it’s manned by two employees on each side. So I stand there, staring at this 7″ foot Amazon of a gal,(name I couldn’t see, nametag was too high) with a weave that made her 7“5, who is yammering on about the trials and tribulations of her life to the other employee«working» his side of the self-service kiosks. Flashing notifications, dings, direct sustained eye contact, then the fervent flailing of my arm to reiterate my need for assistance, she ignored me and continued talking. I then get the attention of the other employee, who casually walks over to her computer and presses a single button, relieving me of the proverbial chains that bound me to this purgatory of produce. All the while she’s sweeping fake dust avoiding eye contact. On the way out, I sincerely thanked him for what must have been for her such a Herculean task. You don’t even have to scan anything, or bag anything, or even speak if you work that section. All you gotta do is push the button. And she refused. And I love how her attitude changed to endearing and sympathetic when a nearby coworker had a raspy cough as I left. Every trip since we share so mutual stink eye. She has no clue how much of an asshole she probably is.

How can you not have a restroom for patrons?! I spent $ 200 on groceries and had to do the pee pee dance in line. I’ll go to another store in the future.

Melody makes the visit to qfc delightful. Wish the rest of the staff was as personable and nice.

This area is unsafe at night, and lack of action by the property management regarding junkies hanging around and disturbing local businesses has a lot to do with it. The near-constant rat problem doesn’t help either. I’d give only half a star if I could. Get your act together.

Service is usually good… However it takes a loooooooooong time for a sandwich to be done in the deli.

Whenever I need anything this is where I go! They have a pretty good selection for being so small and in the city. I will say my my favorite part about is is the cheese section! Yum! The other night I went there with a friend to get the cheese and we couldn’t just get one so we got four different types of cheese: Beecher’s flagship Brie, Goat Gouda, and Cotswold. All were delicious :)

I don’t mind paying more for convenience, but after my last few trips to this QFC that I can no longer shop in a store that is not a safe place. Late at night and early mornings you find people hanging outside the store in and the party is in the store. After a discussion with the manager today, it’s clear this store is a war zone, and will not fit in a safer capital hill.

I live closer to the other QFC on Broadway, so I usually do most of my shopping there. I also feel like there is a wider selection offered at the other location. However, this branch is also open 24×7, and it’s extremely convenient if I’ve popped into one of the nearby bars or restaurants and realise I should pick up some groceries on my way home. Hey, both stores fulfil completely different yet extremely valid purposes in my life, and I am lucky to be spoilt by the abundance of 24×7 QFCs within walking distance. Over and out.

Compared to the other Kroger owned stores I’ve been to this one stands out. There’s a section of locally grown produce, a cheese island with helpful associates, knowledgeable meat and fish people, and an all around clean and friendly atmosphere. I didn’t know what to expect walking in. I never shopped at a qfc before and assumed it would be kinda lame. But I really like it and will continue to shop here.

I usually go to the QFC in lower Queen Anne off Mercer. They’re great and have always provided great service and quality products. I made a mistake by going to this one on Capitol Hill, what a disappointment! My boss was leaving the company I work for, so I decided it would be nice to get him a cake to thank him for all he has done for me and everyone else over the years. I called the bakery on Friday morning and explained what I needed and that I would like to pick it up on Sunday morning around 10am. «Sure, no problem…» was the cheery employee on the phone. I has happy and grateful they could help. On Sunday I arrived at the bakery to pick up the cake. The gentleman was busy putting some items together for the bakery case while I waited at the register. He walked right passed me again without acknowledgement. After a few more minutes I commented that I had ordered a cake for pick up and needed his assistance. He commented, «oh, sorry! I thought you were adjusting yourself.» HUH?! Bewildered by his response I gave him my information and he brought out the cake. I won’t go into details but instead post pictures of what a celebratory cake from QFC looks like. You be the judge. I did spend an extra 20 dollars at a gift store for decorations to make it look nicer. It did taste great so props for that.

This is the inferior QFC in the neighborhood. Both QFC’s are extremely conveniently located, both usually have a variety of professional and amateur panhandlers standing in front of the entrance, both have a deli, beer & wine, bakery, a mini-starbucks inside, and a real starbucks across the street. This one has a Chase ATM and I’m not sure that the one on Broadway/Harrrison has one, so that is kinda nice. However, it doesn’t make up for the fact this QFC is smaller. They simply have a smaller variety of products than the one further north on Broadway & Harrison. If you’re walking with friends to this QFC you can propose an exciting game of chance: how much will someone bet that the escalators out front will be out of service?
