I’m a piroshki lover. This place does it fresh and hot. Happy the line is not as long as the pike place piroshkis. Spinach anything is great here. Could eat a dozen but limit myself to one because these piroshkis are HUGE. Like the size of my hand. Also adding a star for the variety of hot sauces available. Yaaaas!

Best Piroshky in Seattle. Used to be on Broadway — moved to Madison several years ago, but same delicious Piroshkies

Hidden gem! I would have never found this place if it wasn’t for the amazing aroma coming out onto the street as I walked by. There was an older Lady making fresh piroshkis in the window. It was a busy morning around 715 on a Thursday morning. I ordered a potatoe and cheese piroshky and it was amazing! The lady in front of me ordered a bacon and something piroshky which looked pretty dang good also. For the price and amount of stuffing this place is so great when your working at the hosital. I’ll definitely be coming back for more.

Over the years, the prices have slowly gone up with inflation(I remember when it was just 3 or 4 dollars for a piroshki!) but the quality has remained the same. When the guy running the place is there, he’s always really great, putting in an extra poppy seed role piece or cookie. They also are great about giving you a free piroshki every time you buy nine(stamp cards. like the ones you often see in coffee places.) I love their cabbage mushroom and spinach cheese mushroom. Their borsch is also a-mazing, and all their desserts are wonderful. I tried their baklava recently, not expecting it to be anything special, but it was sooo good! They really do great desserts. Sometimes they run out of everything early, especially on Fridays when i tend to come in, but they serve great food. Also, again, the owner is kind and patient.

I love Piroshky Piroshky and give it 5 stars, however Piroshky on Madison is not the exact same(at least the Salmon piroshky). I ordered the Salmon & Cream Cheese Piroshky which should have been a sign telling me that this was completely different from the Salmon Pâté Piroshky at Piroshky Piroshky in Pike Place. The Piroshky itself looked bigger and puffier than the Salmon Pâté Piroshky. It wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t order it again. There was too much cream cheese for my liking but if you like a lot of cream cheese than you might love it!(Perspective: I don’t like sushi rolls with cream cheese in it). The bread was still soft and delicious but the filling wasn’t what I expected. I can’t speak to the other items whether they were good or not but my friend ordered the Beef Broccoli and Cheese Piroshky and she seemed to love it. I would just hold out and go to the one in Pike Place. If you’re close to Piroshky on Madison(people who work at Swedish and VM!) and you’re craving Piroshky then this is definitely more convenient!

SALMONPIROSHKI! Get it! Don’t question it. Just do it! It’s so good! You’ll definitely love it especially if you’re into eating salmon. I came here with a few friends in the morning while walking past the original Starbucks. We came across a long line of people waiting to get their morning piroshki’s, so we figured to get in line to try some. Oh my my was it good. I ordered the beef and cheese, while my boyfriend ordered the salmon piroshki. I should’ve got one for myself. The beef and cheese was good but I think it was a little to heavy for me, considering it was breakfast time. I’ll definitely be back to visit when I’m in the city. Boyfriend rating: Title readability: 6⁄10 Smoked salmon piroshki: 100⁄10 Line waiting: 3⁄10

This place is great! I’ve got breakfast from here and it’s so filling! The smoked salmon and cream cheese was delicious! And it’s enough to keep you full for the whole day! They have room for you to sit and eat. The desserts looked delicious also.

As far as these delicacies go there is one better and more famous place in Seattle, but if you work on Madison this is probably the best place for lunch. Freshly made, friendly service, local feel. Not common on the street in this district.

I have tried just about every piroshki and desert there, and have never had a bad one! I’ve also had the pelmeni, which is also good. The man behind the counter apologized profusely(I didn’t think waiting was a big deal) for the 10 minute wait for the pelmeni, and said next time to call ahead so it will be ready when I arrive.

Nothing fancy, but solid, filling food at a great price. I like the variety of piroshki and the borscht was some of the best I’ve ever hard. I would eat here every week if I lived in the neighborhood.

Really nice and friendly staff. I really like how they offer to warm up the piroshkies for you so you get them piping hot. Potato and cheese piroshky is delicious. Salmon piroshky was a bit too heavy on the cream cheese and not enough salmon. Beef, potato, and cheese piroshky was good too.

Amazing! The bread is perfect in every way. I’ve been here twice and its a perfect experience each time. Corned beef here is delectable. The borsch is quite awesome as well! I had no idea what it was or what was even in it before I ordered it, I just knew it was a soup I couldn’t pronounce properly. I was very surprised when I pulled back the lid to see vibrant, almost neon red soup! The color comes from the abundance of beets in this dish. Yum!

I’ve been in love with piroshkis since I moved to Seattle 11 years ago. I was a young college student from Hawaii who had no idea what they were at the time! Stopped by during lunch time and it was very busy. The place is rather small but the line moves quite fast. The smell coming from the place is so amazing. They’ve got multiple types of fillings, but I got the pizza piroshki that day. I’ve tried an apple cinnamon and ham and cheese ones in the past. The bread is just the right amount of crispy and chewy, and they are very generous with the fillings inside. I had more than a good share of pepperoni, mushroom and cheese in my piroshki. I’ve never been disappointed with the piroshki I’ve gotten!

Delicious!!! If you want an authentic piroshki with amazing flavor and short lines, skip Piroshki Piroshki and come here. My favorites are the smoked salmon, ham and egg, and spinach and egg. Like I said, the flavor is amazing and the bread is perfect and just slightly sweet. Check this place out. You won’t regret it!

To begin is a small place & on Saturday was very busy. We have to be on a long line just to get inside. One of the employees was outside guiding the Customer’s & provided Menu so will facilitate the order of their liking. We had the Smoke Salmon Pâté & Whole Apple Pastry. Both where out of this World, Awesome. A must try this place if you are in the Area… :-))

My smoked salmon and creamed cheese piroshki was just as promised by other Unilocal reviewers. Wish I discovered this gem sooner. On my way back to Honolulu tomorrow early morning. If I had time I would scoop one up for my flight back home! Bummer. If I ever find my way back to Seattle, I will come back to enjoy this place again. Wonderful customer service as well. Regulars came breezing through, the staff calling them by name. I love spots like these!

Very conveniently located for people going to Swedish First Hill, as Piroshky on Main is attached to the building. I had the corned beef, mushroom, and cheese Piroshky. The bread was tough on the outside and soft, but not too soft, on the inside. The saltiness of the corned beef played well with the creaminess of the melted cheese. It was good, but not amazing. I was still hungry afterwards, so I split a beef, potato, and cheese Piroshky with Kyla. Unfortunately, it was decidedly blander than the previous Piroshky. Each one was $ 6 after tax, so I didn’t think it was that great of a value.

I saw all the Unilocal reviews about Piroshky Piroshky in the Pike Place market, but since I wasn’t able to make it there, I figured I’d give this place a go just so I could at least say I tried a piroshki while I was in Seattle. It’s a small little shop, but they’ve got quite the selection. I decided to get the potato and mushroom piroshki(~$ 5.50 after tax) and it definitely did not disappoint. The bread is super soft and the filling was quite tasty. I love the various shapes and designs the different types of piroshkis come in. However, I’m sure that’s not unique to this particular store. While I have no basis for comparison, I really enjoyed my piroshki. It was delicious and fresh. It’s definitely not the cheapest breakfast pastry(I’m used to breads and pastries that are about $ 1 – 3 each), but it’s quite filling and will hold you over for several hours until your next meal. If you plan to eat it immediately, be sure they warm it up for you!
