Best fast Asian food I’ve found! Sit down or take out. It’s right by my bus stop, so I’ll call ahead on my way home from work and pick up a super tasty dinner. Crab rangoon with cranberry sauce is the absolute best, and I love their salads, too. Nice use of mango and sesame. Chicken katsu is also a favorite:)

Sat in to eat and noticed that it was pretty empty – lots of people were calling in to go orders. Complimentary tea is very smooth to the taste. Goes down like warm butter! Salad that comes with the bento box has a delicious lemony hint to it and the sesame seeds are a bonus. Teriyaki chicken in the bento was thinner than most places I’ve been too and was on the dry/chewy side — it was flavorful nonetheless. Bento was VERY filling. Don’t order too much if you have it unless you want leftovers. Best part was that it didn’t cost an arm and leg to be full! Shanghai noodle was tasty and the veggies were crunchy and fresh tasting – not soggy or overcooked. Food that tasted like food! Salad roll: super refreshing crunch! The fruit and veggie combo isn’t as weird as it sounds – try it! Server was very attentive and gave us extra napkins when she saw we had already used ours. She also kept our tea/water topped off and never let it fall below half.

5 stars for the chicken Teryaki!!! The chicken was cooked perfectly and was not fatty like you find at most places. I got the chicken Teryaki and Gyoza and the portion was perfect but the gyoza’ were not my favorite. Great for take-out

My hubs and I enjoy takeout from here on those days we don’t want to cook. Crab rangoon is our favorite side!

Decided to try them again and it’s still the same result. This time I got the order to go. It was chicken teriyaki and katsu. I ordered extra meat for the teriyaki and they apparently don’t do extra meat for the katsu. The portions were so sad. The teriyaki with extra meat was still rather small and the amount of rice they give isn’t enough to match the amount of meat, even without the extra order of meat I got. The actual taste wasn’t too bad though. The katsu this time wasn’t as bad as the first time, but it still wasn’t that good. They didn’t season it at all so you need the sauce to get any kind of taste out of it. Again, the portion was pretty small so my friend that ordered it was still hungry afterwards. The salad still has the weird dressing, but maybe its just me that thinks that. Overall, I think I’ll avoid this place from now on. $ 20 for the food + $ 3 for extra teriyaki is too expensive considering the portions and how many other teriyaki places there are in Seattle.

How I heard of this place: When we moved into the neighborhood, and met a now good friend, we were introduced to Mr. & Mrs. Wok as being the best Asian food in the area, let alone Seattle. Now that our friend is planning a move across the globe, we felt it was high time we tested his theory. Type of cuisine: Asian fusion: with teriyaki, bulgogi, Chinese and… burgers. Ambiance: Simple and new, sparse yet tasteful, clean and neat. What I ordered: To start, we shared the Seattle Rolls($ 5.99): a mix of vegetables, tofu, and shiitake mushrooms wrapped in rice paper, as well as the deep fried Egg Rolls($ 3.49). Our dining companion — a regular, whose order was known by the server — got the usual Mango Cashew Tofu($ 8.99): breaded tofu with mango chunks, pineapple and cranberries, while my husband and I shared the Beef Bulgogi($ 9.99): Korean style marinated beef served on a sizzling hot plate, and the Combination Bento($ 16.99) with Chicken Teriyaki and Grilled Salmon, served with steamed rice, pot sticker, egg roll, steamed broccoli and namul(steamed bean sprouts) with homemade sauce, miso soup and fresh salad to start. What I loved: Beef Bulgogi, followed closely by the Grilled Salmon stood out the most. The surprise best side in the Bento was the steamed bean sprouts, and the Seattle Rolls were good enough to order again! Why I loved it: Friendly staff, clean space, fresh food served fast in a family-friendly environment. Cost: Low to average($ 7.99 — $ 18.99 per dinner entrée/Bento)

For chicken teriyaki, this place is solid. The chicken tastes good whenever I’ve gone and they always make your order fresh. That’s why there’s a 15 minute or so wait. Good teriyaki. No complaints!

Really good teriyaki, friendly service and complimentary tea! My only criticism is that the portions of chicken are a little light. Super good yaki! Best in the area if you ask me.

The Tofu Miss Saigon Noodles(which is half salad and half noodles) is soooo good! It’s a great deal too at just $ 9 and it’s enough for two small lunches or one giant feast. Yum!

My daughter loves this place! She just can’t get enough of the gyoza and chicken breast teriyaki. As the parents of a picky eater we’re happy to have mr mrs wok in our neighborhood foodie toolbox.

so fresh! so tasty! you can really tell there is real love and consideration put into this cooking. quality ingredients. The orange chicken was actually zesty with fresh orange flavor, the rice is the good sticky rice you expect from a quality asian joint(mind you, the uncle ben’s rice that falls apart everywhere is considered junk and fed to horses in japan!), and the chicken katsu was crisp and delicious. My husband reported his shanghai noodles(basically vietnamese bun, or vermicelli rice noodles) were super tasty. They were very accommodating to his gluten sensitivity and suggested the shanghai noodles. He’s often used to being disappointed with getting stuck with the gluten free option, but not this time.

Good and inexpensive option for tasty Japanese food. The chicken katsu has a great crispy surface and juicy center, and the sauce is tangy without being too overpowering. The broccoli beef is also an awesome choice, and is a great mix of sauce and freshly steamed veggies. My overall favorite is the gyoza, which is great for a side. You can get carry-out or eat in, however one downside to the carry-out is that the foil they wrap it in to keep it warm can kind of rub off on the rice and make it taste slightly metallic. However, if you’re eating in you’re sure to get a delicious meal for lunch or dinner.

Mr and Mrs Wok we are so glad we finally stopped in. Spotlessly clean. Fast and friendly service. Teriyaki chicken breast with just the right amount of charbroil, fresh salad and decent rice. We will be back.

I only went there once, so take my review with the grain of salt. I ordered the sweet and sour(I don’t remember pork or chicken) to go. The sauce was so so, but when I got home(1 block of walking) to eat. It was all soggy and tough. It could have been better in the restaurant. Will update if it’s any better.

Looks like this place has received some mixed reviews lately. My wife and I had a spicy noodle dish and the veggies were quite fresh and they were perfectly cooked! Still had a fresh crunch. It was better then some of the Tai dishes we’ve had in the Ballard area. It is a glorified teriyaki place, but I think they do a really good job.

Very nice waitress and restaurant was clean. Waitress immediately brought us water and tea. We ordered the pot stickers, chicken yakisoba, chicken teriyaki and Osaka chicken. All of the dishes were delicious! Our favorite was the yakisoba! We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

If I could give it zero stars I would. I was hangry and stopped in since I was in the neighborhood and it had good Unilocal reviews. I ordered what turned out to be basically, birds eye frozen vegetables stir fried. I saw they had no sauce, so I asked for teriyaki sauce and got some thick honey goo. Plus, they charged me $ 5.50 for ¾ of a cup of crappy veggies. I would have gone back to get a refund, but I was in a hurry. Totally disappointing…

Under stated and one of my favorite bites to enjoy. The service is always fast and pleasant. It’s been owner run as long as I remember. First there is no waiting ever! The server will bring you water to hide your mouth watering over the menu items and green tea to cleanse your pallet before the main course arrives. Great selection of what I would say is «Asian Fusion»! prepared in a healthy cooking but filling at the same time. Keep in mind my wife and I will split a dish and call it a date, so it takes us a while to try the entire menu. Light weights! Keep these guys«Wok –ing» hard and in business. It’s a great place to dine in or take out.

Buddhas plate: 4 stars(I ordered this about 8 months ago but remember really liking it). Most recently I’ve had: Chicken teriyaki: 4 stars(not 5 because the stir fry veggies that come with we’re not very good). Mango cashew chicken: 3 stars(the texture of the sauce was too«slimy» for my taste…)
