I’m so lucky to live walking distance from Luigi’s. Super friendly service, guests really feel like they are part of the family at this restaurant. Over the years we have tried almost everything on the menu, the only problem is deciding what to order. My teenage son loves the garlic bread, crunchy and sinfully delicious.

This place is great! If you like a chill environment and great food then this is the place. Authentic Italian food. I think a older couple own it and they are so nice. This place has been in Magnolia for years and we always go for the family atmosphere and great food.

First of all I walk by this place all the time and always wonder if its good or not. Sopranos pizza is across the street and always busy, this place never has anyone there. We wanted to go to Nikos but it was closed so we gave it a try. The service was very ackward and not great. I was with my girlfriend and my two year old son. The lady didnt ask if we wanted a drink and didn’t bring utensils or water for my son. I had to ask for wine after the lady took our food order and walked away. The lady was nice just not good. We ordered lasagna, canelloni, and a kids portion cheese ravioli. The sauce for all these was the same and was too tomato heavy and bland, just not good. After we were almost done a check just shows up. We would have ordered dessert and more wine but the lady didnt even ask just assumed. Anyways first and last time we go here. Food just not great and not a good experience. Just my take and we are very reasonable.

I hate these type of reviews because the staff were really nice and friendly, however the pizza we got was unfortunately worse than dominos, the crust was bland, however the sauce and cheese was salt bombs. The pineapple we got wasn’t or barely on the pizza and for a $ 17 pizza I expect what we paid very good money for. We are still looking for a good restaurant in magnolia, but this place sadly is not it. Staff: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Food: 1 Me::(

Stopped here for dinner on a Sunday evening with family. It was OK, but not great. I would probably look for a different spot nearby if I came to this area again. We had a half and half pizza, some beef ravioli and cheese tortellini. We also ordered some cheesy garlic bread. The bread was very good with a good mixture of cheeses and chunks of garlic. The pasta dishes included a house salad that was somewhat underwhelming. The pizza was average. It was made well with tasty toppings, but the crust was lacking something — others had described it as similar to a frozen pizza, and maybe that is closest to the truth. The pasta dishes were a good size and tasted good but nothing special. Service was good, but the place wasn’t busy. Our server was attentive and friendly and we didn’t wait too long for anything. I like the atmosphere — it is a smallish place. I feel like the price was about on par with what I would expect to pay elsewhere. Overall I left with a full stomach but a sense of meh. I have had better, and I have had worse. I wouldn’t drive 20 miles to avoid the place, but there are other choices nearby and I would give them a try first.

Haven’t been here for a while. We had a very respectable pizza that was cooked just right. They had no problem with a half and half pizza. Greek salad was great. A bit sad that they don’t have calzones on menu anymore. Service was a bit slow… We will be back.

This place is small and cozy and has the best pizza you could ask for. Luigi is the nicest man and always greets his customers as they walk in the door like you just walked into your family’s house for a visit! Every time I wait on my to go order, he serves me a glass of wine or soda while I wait. His wife is super friendly as well and always sits down to talk with me if they aren’t busy. I have had just about every pizza combination and I love them all as do my 3 and 2 year old boys! You can’t beat service or food like this in your own neighborhood! Fantastico!

This, my friends, is where you get the best pizza in all of Washington! I have been coming to this place for a while and let me tell you, the food is amazing, the staff is great, and I have always been happy with the whole experience. Thank you Luigis Pizza!

Friendly neighborhood pasta/pizza joint. Very family-friendly. The pasta’s like you’d have at home, which is great if you want Italian but nothing fancy. Avoid the antipasti, though – waaaaay too salty.

I decided to stray from the chain pizza joints and try this place one night. We ordered takeout. It was cute inside, the couple running the place seemed sweet, but I was unfortunately extremely underwhelmed by my pizza. I got a standard pepperoni pizza and we didn’t finish more than 2 small slices because the cheese on it was so thick it was stomach ache worthy. It was literally at least a quarter of an inch thick. We stuck it in the fridge and figured maybe we’d like it for left overs but just couldn’t do it. We were snapping the slices of pizza in half because the cheese was hardened and thick. Don’t get me wrong, I like cheese but the amount on here was almost outrageous.

Luigi’s has been in business for over 20 years and after finally eating here for the first time, it’s easy to see why. The service was wonderful, we were seated right away. The Greek salad was big enough to share between two people. The pizza was really good, and the cannoli was out of this world. I’m not sure when we’ll be back, but Luigi’s is definitely on our list of favorite places in Seattle.

No frills, great pan pizza, jolly waitstaff, what’s more to ask of a village pizza place? We loved the Magnolia pizza. Since it was our first time they brought us some garlic cheese sticks which we’re melt in your mouth perfect. We will be back as soon as we need another pizza fix.

ALRIGHT, SEATTLE. I thought some of the spots on Capitol Hill had the best pizza in Seattle, but everything changed the first time I tasted Luigi’s Pizza. So we just moved to Magnolia a few months ago, and unfortunately didn’t have very high expectations of restaurants in the new neighborhood coming from Capitol Hill. Not to be rude to Magnolia, but we’d never eaten at any restaurants in the neighborhood and felt that the hill had the best selection of eateries, bar none. So one night, on an exhausted whim, we decided to try Luigi’s Pizza. BESTDECISIONOFOURLIVES. We ordered then and to this day have only ordered the Mediterranean(onions, spinach, feta, black olives, garlic, italian sausage, sprinkled with sunflower seeds, oregano and basil). It’s not that the other pizzas on the menu don’t sound appealing, it’s just that when you find perfection, you don’t deviate from it. :) Let me break down this pizza for you so you know exactly how delicious this is: — CRUST: So absolutely perfect and just the right blend of soft and crunchy. Default is thick, kind of pan-style crust, and it’s to DIE for. Never burnt, always perfect. — TOPPINGS: I need a section of this review dedicated to just the sausage on this pizza alone, but I’ll resist. But the sausage on this pizza is large and in charge and not little skimpy bits that I’ve gotten from other shops. Seriously, every ingredient feels so fresh, so perfectly blended. The flavors just pop, and it’s perfect every time. I’d also like to give huge props to Luigi’s for adding sunflower seeds to the list of ingredients. I’ve never in my life had that on a pizza before, and was kind of skeptical when we first ordered it. But man, it really adds a lot the flavor profile and provides a nice little extra crunch. We’ve never dined in at Luigi’s, only had take-out, so I can’t comment on the wait staff service. But I have to say that they can turn an award winning pizza around very quickly(usually 15 – 20 minutes at the most). If our waistlines weren’t of any concern, we’d eat this pizza every single day. But we try and keep it at once a week or so to make it more of a treat. I know Luigi’s may not be accessible to many if they don’t live in Magnolia, but I seriously cannot stress how delicious this pizza is. We’ve shared some of it with our friends, and they all agree that it’s amazing. I recommend dropping into Magnolia some warm summer evening, grab the Mediterranean from Luigi’s, and make a little picnic for yourself at the nearby park to enjoy what our quaint little neighborhood has to offer.

I have been coming to this place since I was just a kid, when they first opened, and it is now better than ever! This is the one place that I can get pizza from that actually cares about the crust, as well as the toppings(something that I’m pretty picky about). The staff there knows when I come in that I will want a Magnolia Village(the classic combo pizza, perfected) in addition to whatever wonderful side dish I might be craving. The great food doesn’t just stop at the pizza either. They have great pasta dishes and amazing little canolis that are definitely a guilty pleasure of mine. I have brought numerous friends here and challenged each of them to day they’ve had a better pizza in this state, and to this day, not a single one has been able to utter a peep to the contrary. It’s family owned and operated and you can tell they care about everyone that comes in. They just regained ownership about half a year ago after the interim owners drove the place into the ground(as evident from the Unilocal reviews from the last two years) and have since remodeled and even added a limited cocktail selection! It’s all music to my ears, and I’m just glad to have my favourite pizza place back. Regardless of where I live, I will always make the time to head down to Luigi’s!

Luigis is small and quaint, in the middle of a row of shops and bars in the middle of Magnolia village. The restaurant is small, maybe 15 tables, and was quiet when we arrived. Our son(11 mos old) was in a good mood and was laughing, but not grumpy at all. I said to the waiter as we ordered our drinks, «I’m sorry our son is making noise — do you want us to leave?», sort of as a joke. He replied, «that’s totally up to you.» Huh? So apparently they don’t need the business that much. I had the baked tortellini, and my wife had a custom made pizza. The garlic bread served with my entrée was the best part. The food is okay, not great. The service is — maybe our waiter just had a bad night. We might try it again, because it’s a neighborhood place I want to like. But our experience left something to be desired.
