Amante Pizza & Pasta

I’m not sure about their pizza, but the Buffalo wings were the worst I’ve ever had! I ordered 6 Buffalo wings, what I got was 6 tasteless burnt wings. Some wings had fractured bones, not like a crack in the middle but like bones were in like 8 pieces. Will not recommend this place. Ohh another thing, they forgot my blue cheese and gave me ranch, nicee.

We got a medium cheese pizza, an order of mozzarella sticks, and a side salad with ranch dressing.
We ask them not to cut the pizza but they did anyway. Like others have said, the pizza was very greasy. I thought it tasted alright (my wife didn’t like it) but I was also really hungry, so who knows.
The mozzarella sticks were horrible, the worst we have ever had. The said they make them in the oven versus frying them, which is fine, but they were dried out, hard, and tasteless. The first one I bit into had next to no cheese in it.
I didn’t have any of the salad but my wife said the ranch dressing tasted off. She likes most salads that she gets so that’s saying something.
The one positive was that the delivery driver was nice.
Overall, there is no was we are going to be repeat customers and there is no way we would recommend this place.

bread sticks were good,

Fast service but delivery guy was not friendly. Pizza was the greasiest pizza I ever had and barely had any of the toppings on it. The wings had more batter to mask the chicken and was not very good. The garlic cheese bread has ricotta on and was not on the menu. I will not be ordering here ever again.

Great pizza and fast delivery. They have the best tasting crust. I’ve tried numerous other delivery pizza businesses close to Magnolia they’re my choice. Also, the dinner salads are good too. That’s done.

I made a Unilocal account just for this review. The pasta was horrible and the calzone was undercooked. I asked for a refund and without even being connected to the manager, all they offered me was 15% off my next order lol. I will never be eating there again.

I’ve ordered pizza here for delivery a couple times and It’s always been pretty good. The delivery is quick & always on time and the workers are really nice. They also have a good variety on their menu. You should definitely try it here if you’re hungry and want fast food delivered.

Love this place. I’m always trying to find the best pizza… For 5 years I’ve been going to Zayda Buddy, Razzis and Bills. I’ve also tried countless others, and Amante has made it into my top 5 (outside of Chicago). I highly suggest giving it a try.

Decent food. Fast delivery. My last order was disappointing because it turns out that the online menu has some incorrect information. For example, the chef salad says it has pepperoni/​salami/​Canadian bacon, but in actuality it does not. The print menu does not have this problem.

We order from Amante’s all the time and the food is generally great. Liberal usage of garlic in most dishes with whole roasted cloves of it in most of the pasta dishes!
Their calzones are huge and well made. The specialty pizzas have some nice combos with plenty of all veggie options.
On top of all that delivery is quick and the guys are always nice. We have never had a screwed up order!

I’ve ordered from Amante for years, and I’ve always been very happy with them. Their pizza and calzones are delicious (never tried the pasta), and their delivery service is always prompt and friendly. They’re not cheap pizza, and their appetizers aren’t fantastic, but there’s nowhere else I’d rather call for tasty delivery pizza.

After having some delivery from these guys, I am left with the conclusion that they should not do anything other than pizza.
I’m not sure what these cats are playing at, but eggplant parmesan is not a grease soup over melted cheese with mashed eggplant on pizza sauce.
Inedible.
The chicken salad was made with old hard chicken and semi-​rotten avocados.
Sad.
The turkey grinder I had was pretty sad as well, but there was less to complain about there. It did seem to have turkey. It was in bread. The social contract has been fulfilled. However, it tasted and appeared like I found it sitting in the sun without much to speak of besides the bird and bread inside of it.
$ 40 of delivery and I end up splitting my disappointing sandwich with people.
Please stop making food that you suck at making.
Order meat pizza from these cats and nothing else ever.

We ordered a thin crust, well-​done, half Hawaiian and half pepperoni mushroom. This order has been our best at Amante so far! I think being specific in your order is the most reliable way to get what you want from this place. Warning: they get super busy on football days!

Amante pizza is about a mile and are one of the few places that deliver in Magnolia. As new Magnolia residents, we thought we’d give it a whirl. mistake.
I was concerned when the delivery driver tried to manipulate me into coming out to her car to pick up the order because it was raining and she «couldn’t walk up the driveway.» I told her politely to move her booty to our door. Come on. This is what you get paid for.
We paid and opened up our food to discover there was no dipping sauce for the jalapano poppers. Okay, mistakes happen. When we called to inform them of their error they told us that they do not include dipping sauce with their poppers and they would charge us extra for ranch. What? If ranch was extra, wouldn’t you be trying to up sell the crap out of it?
So, we ate our poppers with the bbq sauce and ceaser we had at the house. Or tried to anyway. the first bite I took was lukewarm and under cooked. They were soft on the outside and not nearly cooked enough.
The sandwiches were cold too but pretty decent so they earned a star there.
One star removed for lazy delivery person

one star removed for cold food.
They are lucky to receive a two star rating. I obviously will not be eating here again.

I ordered from Amante Pizza on a weekly basis for over a year. The ownership must have changed, because I’ve noticed a sever decline in accuracy, food quality and customer service. The past 3 deliveries have given my husband and I mild food poisoning meaning the ingredients have spoiled. As well as making us sick, there have been items missing and/​or incorrect on all 3 occasions. My last experience was so horrific I will be taking my business elsewhere.
I placed my order of Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken & large Caesar salad. I was given a price quote & before hanging up I decided to add a pice of cake. When my order arrived I handed the delivery person my money, he looked confused saying I had given him way to much & counted back my change. I inspected my ticket to find the cake had not been added to my order. The driver apologized and said it was a very busy day…
When I opened my order, there was the cake!
The pasta was terrible, soggy, flavorless. The chicken tasted like frozen filets. The salad which used to have an abundance of fresh croutons, now had a sprinkling of stale store bought ones. The only thing I did enjoy was the cake until I received a very rude, pissed off call from the restaurant. The teenage-​sounding person was speaking to me as if I had STOLEN the cake even though I explained I had handed the delivery person the appropriate amount of money & the mistake was on their end. He aggressively said «My manager says you owe us $ 7!» I asked how that was possible if the cake was only $ 4.75? «That’s just what he told me lady» was the answer I got. As I have stated before, I ordered from Amante once, sometimes even twice a week & you’re going to treat a valued customer so atrociously?!
Choke on your cake & food poisoning!

I do love this place. They have redeemed themselves for me from one so-​so item out of dozens of perfect orders. They’re great, prices are ok, menu is huge, delivery is fast and takeout is even faster. Calzones all the way, veggie, no cheese, no butter.

Amantes has the ability to always show up with our food luke warm. bordering on cold. Keep in mind I live 2 minutes away.
Normally, we do order pizza and for the price it is. alright. Twice in our ordering history we have ordered «nachos» and upon arrival they appear to be needing an exorcism. Burnt around the edges and lacking any flavor besides the jalapeño peppers, they are truly awful.
Granted, this is not the place to order «nachos». If that is the case please take them off them the menu. If I am in a bind I might still order the pizza (usually Margarita) because it pretty average.

In Magnolia and cravin’ a couple slices of greasy pizza for lunch? This might just be the spot!
The man at the counter was easy going and pretty entertaining to have a brief chat with. The slices were big and the price was a’ight. Some of my coworkers had recommended them because they like their combo specials, but I wasn’t really digging on any of them. (I believe they included sodas or something like Caesar salad — I’m not a fan of either.)
I got a couple slices and got on my way. I got full but wasn’t especially thrilled about the options.
Most of the options were meaty and the pizza was definitely a bit too greasy for me, but I know that is just how plenty of people love their pizza.
A lot of the folks that eat lunch around there are men that are either military (saw plenty of uniforms) or look like they have labor-​heavy jobs, so I’m glad they have a pizza joint to satisfy their lunch-​time hunger.

I’m not a good dieter. Not like anyone is. Well that’s a lie. Anorexics are good dieters. Anyway, I may not be a good dieter but I’m a great at hitting the gym. Therefore it’s ok for me to have a slice or two after a few hours of running, zumba-​ing, nia-​ing, and yoga-​ing.
I drive pass Amante’s 87 million times a week. I religiously throw o… recycle their numerous flyers and coupons. I finally went in last friday after a grueling double workout and was pleasantly met by a number of construction workers getting gourmet slices. I don’t do gourmet pizza toppings. I do pepperoni. And there waiting for me was a perfect room temperature slice!
I will now hoard Amante coupons. I will workout extra hard and become friends with the delivery driver.

Wow did they ever deliver a lot of ranch with my order. I asked for two additional and ended up with seven sides of ranch total. This is where the good ends though.
The garlic bread and cheese bread was slightly burned. Not a huge issue, it happens. Not much to complain about there.
But the lasagna I ordered was frozen, I don’t mean it was cold, I mean I couldn’t get my fork into it, it was frozen. Called and they are sending me another, but Jesus. The dish was cold and made my garlic bread cold. How do you send something out like that?
