I went to a friend’s house recently and their house looked like it fell out of a magazine. My house? It looks like a college dorm – a mish-mash of furniture, clutter, and an iguana that I had stuffed after he passed away. It’s hard to find a nice piece of furniture to display a 3′ long iguana. Because of my furnishing shortcomings, it’s hard for me to decide what looks good together, or what looks like an indoor garage sale. This is where a place like Le Objects comes in handy. Le Objects is a very put together-looking store. Cool tones like greens, whites, blues, browns and blacks with splashes of bright color were very inviting. They specialize in things to decorate your home with: wicker balls, vases, bowls, etc. But they ALSO have fun stuff like soaps, cards,(the cards are great! The wedding cards included Mr. and Mr. & Mrs. & Mrs. cards. Take that, conventional wedding cards! ^_^) What really appealed to me were the bare bulb lights that are popular right now. Old-fashioned, crazy-shaped filaments, in different shapes. At $ 29.95 they are pricey but the cool factor is +1000! And if you need help putting together a room, they are also a design place. Someday, when I’m a baller, I’ll recruit their services and overhaul my house HGTV-style.

While I did not buy anything(I am downsizing, not looking for more), we had a fun time just looking at all of the interesting and unique items that reflected a by-gone era. Lady who worked on Sunday(3÷3÷13) was very nice. Aged Leather chairs were sooooo comfortable. Will be back.

Timothy is awesome! He welcomes you into his beautifully decorated shope in Georgetown near neighboring shopes and eating joints which is convenient when you are shopping. A great find for those of you looking for unique gifts and decorating tips from a local smalled owned business owner =D He went beyond to offer his thoughts, helpful tips on items in his shop but also in decoration! I like finding this type of shop and owner because it doesn’t feel like just a sale, but someone who is passionate and interested beyond selling. I will definitely be back and tell my friends too! Great find for the upcoming shopping season!

Popped in here while décor-hunting on my lunchbreak. The floor is decorated beautifully, with little vignettes. There are many statement pieces as well as complementing pieces that work for a cottage or traditional home. Other styles may be incorporated as well, this was the style when I visited.

Great finds in the shop and amazing custom work. The owner is incredibly talented. My pal from over at Capers in West Seattle sent me to Tim(owner of Le’Objects) for some custom shelves and they turned out as perfectly as I dreamed them.

Love! Love! Love! This store is must for those who like beautiful unique things that are fairly priced and timeless! I can’t go there without finding something that I must take home. The care and thought put into the items in the store is amazing! I also always get fresh ideas looking at the wonderful tablescapes and displays they have set up. Can’t get enough!

**review for the storefront only — not design services, which I haven’t tried** The store is extremely reasonably priced, with some really pretty pieces scattered throughout. Unfortunately the first time I went was near Halloween and a significant portion of the entryway was filled with Halloween kitsch — significantly less classy than I would hope. I’m all about Halloween as a fun kids holiday, but I don’t expect or necessarily want to see glittery skulls at a design store, you know? They did have some very cool coral and shells that I loved, but none of the larger items were quite my style… more the type of thing I would put in a formal living room or parlor, which I definitely don’t have. However, the guy in the store was super nice and it looks like the place has great potential, so I’m excited to keep coming back… especially because this shop also let my dog nap on the rug while I shopped.

Very charming store in the revitalized Georgetown«antiques» district. The style is sort of vintage/natural/new victorian if that makes sense. Prices are affordable and perfect if you have all of your large pieces and need authentic, quality accessories.

I was lucky enough to have found Tim to help me with two large projects. One was decorating our vacation beach house which he took from blah to fab. Everything from amazing colors to wonderful unique pieces of art and furniture. Tim really listened to us and worked with our budget and our needs for the perfect finished product. We get nothing but rave reviews when people see the transformation! Tim also has done the interior design work in our home and has done a fantastic job. Again, he listened to us regarding our needs, budget and style and put together an amazing home. He was great at finding pieces we love, like some art from Grandma’s collection, and getting the pieces cleaned and had them and working them into the room. All and all the best designer I have ever worked with. My only complaint is I live in LA and now that he relocated to Seattle I have to fly him in when I have a new project(and of course I do!)
