In my first visit since forever, last time they seemed calorie ridden and expensive, I returned– but to another location– bye u-village! hello queen anne! This time it was a new and improved menu. I ordered a strawberry drink that had banana, splenda sweetened dairy base, and other fruits. It was thick, filling, tasty, and had a shot of «green caffeine». The small size is more than enough with the original size(medium) being ginormous. The shop space was clean, bright, and welcoming. It is a cute little space. I love that I can see how many calories certain drinks approximately are. Also, that I have more than one choice when it comes to flavors in the healthy zone of the menu. Even a few combinations outside of the zone were OK calorie wise and sounded good. Plus I could get a «green caffeine» booster for free! Who doesn’t like free boosters? Vitamin C? OK! Antioxidants? OK! A snack at Jamba should not be as much as a whole meal + some. You can say that I am a fan now… thanks for amping it up Jamba Juice and becoming my type of place.

We usually opt for the Berry Lime Sublime or the Peach Pleasure. For me, I get the Carrot Juice which I find oddly addicting. The price we pay(other than the price we pay ahem) is the long lines, uncaring cashiers the high prices and the mondo-calories, but that’s what makes it a Jamba experience, no? I heard some bad news that this Jamba was closing at the end of Dec. 2008 — anyone else hear this? First Pat’s, then Scoops, now Jamba is closing? This seems like a conspiracy to deprive Queen Anners of Cold Summer Treats! Enjoy your QA Jamba while you can!

This is probably my favorite Jamba location. I’m not sure why, but it smells fresher and orangier here than any other Jamba I’ve been into. I’m partial to their Orange-A– Peel and their Citrus Squeeze. And for those of you who don’t do dairy, no worries! Just tell them you need it ‘dairy free’ and instead of using their milk base or yogurt, they’ll use sorbet. Always super clean in here and the staff is some of the most efficient I’ve seen in a ‘fast food’ type environment. Plus, they’ve got big umbrellas and tables to park yourself at while you enjoy your oversized health shake on a hot summer day.

Why is it that every time I walk through the door of Jamba I’m bleeding, sweating, coughing, or doubled over with gastro-intestinal distress? Wisdom teeth removed? Get a Jamba. Flu? Get a jamba. Eat that guacamole at the Four Season’s in Mexico City that invited all sorts of sinister bugs to do the Mexican Hat Dance in your gut? Get a Jamba. So, if you’re disgusting, get a Jamba.

I think y’all should do less socializing and more paying attention to us customers. I understand you’re a 17-year-old angsty high school student and you want to talk to your co-worker about how no one has invited you to the prom, but I have an order to make and maybe a little tip money to give so pay the fuck attention! Smoothie was still good, though. That’s ultimately the reason why we keep going back, right?
