Very frustrating when you’ve worked at this location before, and still can’t get any service. My boyfriend and I were standing with our arms full of clothing, looking around like nincompoops for about 5 minutes, and still no one approached us. Finally I found someone folding shirts (I think her name is Lisa) and she seemed extremely bothered that she had to find us one size of one pair of pants in the back. I wish Kat had been there– she’s always so nice!
Look, it’s holiday– I get it, I’ve (literally) been there. But it seemed like no one was having a better time than we were. A customer was actually more helpful, offering us fit tips on suit jackets.
You should offer *everyone* great service, but the fact that we were buying a Ludlow was an even bigger slap in the face. Make the trip to UVillage, you’ll get fabulous service and then can get Din Tai Fung afterwards.

I just love standing in line, being ignored waiting to buy $ 400 worth of clothing… I’ve never been so blatantly ignored before. Especially satisfying was when the sales clerk asked if he could ring the person BEHIND me first… And then proceeded to ring up the new line that formed after me. Thanks j crew…

I love this place! The service here is top notch and the fashion advice is thoughtful and accurate. I’m a member of the LGBTQ community, and I get a lot of sideways looks when shopping for menswear around Seattle. J crew has always been incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They are encouraging, innovative, and provide fashion counsel specific to my needs. I love love love them. Also, Sean is a genius stylist.

This store is smaller than Bellevue square but somehow they manage to have much cooler stuff and I always walk out of there a with a little bit less cash than when I walked in. Got cute khakis and a cool embroidered sweater to go with! Only gave it 4 stars because the staff is not as customer savvy as the Bellevue store. The Bellevue staff is helpful, works hard to find items you need if they don’t have them and are friendly without being pushy.

Anyone who looks in my closet can tell that I’m a huge J Crew fan. Great for both weekend and work wear at reasonable prices, especially if you hit one of their sales!
That being said, this location is lacking in selection. The staff is friendly but the store is tiny. It’s fine if the style has just come out, but otherwise you’re often SOL. The suiting and shoes selection for women is also quite limited. I end up buying much more online simply for better selection.

I stopped into the store today looking for an item that was on the website. It was not in store at all (it wasn’t that they were out of stock in the store; the items in the stores do not match what is on the website). I talked with the woman helping me and she said that if the store places the order to have the item shipped to the store for the customer to pick up, shipping is free.
I called a few hours later to ask how I can have them place that order, because if I place the order myself I will get charged 9 bucks for shipping. The woman who answered the phone, Lisa, had a tone with me. She informed me that what I was told is incorrect, that they ship directly to the customer for free when they place the order from the store. I asked if they can place the order in store, while I’m on the phone with them, and I was rudely told that that simply is not an option. I asked if I would be able to use my student discount if I had them order the item, and she said «well then, you’ll definitely have to come into the store». Her tone during the entire call made me feel stupid for asking a few clarifying questions. And if I’m spending $ 45 on a top that is impossible for me to buy in the store, and I was JUST at the store, paying for shipping sucks, and having to come into the store again sucks.
Basically: bad customer service, and snooty treatment by the saleswoman. For a store this uppity and expensive, this is simply unacceptable. I’ll buy my basic tees elsewhere for ¹⁄₃ of the price, thanks.

I love JCrew. When I start making the big bucks, I will frequent them much more often. Their tailor is also very good — helped fit my deliciously gorgeous, royal blue double-​breasted wool trench coat, one of my favorite JCrew purchases. I think by now I must have 15 Jackie Cardigans… What can I say, they never go out of style! I never buy shoes or accessories here since you can get knockoffs at Forever21 which are essentially indistinguishable, and often $ 100 cheaper (esp. those simple ballet flats with tiny bows — nearly identical!). But for classically feminine style, you’ll never go wrong at JCrew.

Always get great help here. I always feel welcome. Best selection of clothes I’ve seen at any J. Crew store. Nice layout. Really can’t find anything to complain about.
Doesn’t hurt that it’s one of my favorite brands.

J. crew has improved!!! I loved their style a few years ago, then they got a little weird, and now they’re back to awesome! I was here this last weekend and they had some really great finds. Their leopard flats were adorable, they had fingerless gloves with little mittens that you can put over your fingers, and they had tons of gorgeous wool coats.
From a mens perspective, they were OK. My husband got 1 zip up hoodie which looked great on him, but Banana had way more selection for nice coats that weren’t sport coats. So it was OK, but the womens section had a lot better stuff.
This store is a good store, but not the best. It is too crowded in the mens section, but the womens section is more spacious.

This is still the best location I’ve been to in the area, but now there are a few reservations I have about going here. First of all, the mens section is fantastic and the staff is SUPER helpful. Lots of basics, great sales, and nothing is really there that doesn’t need to be there. The store knows what it’s doing.
But then there’s the women’s section which appears to have very few of the basics, a weird layout, and staff that means well but doesn’t always offer the best advice. A few of the staples I’ve seen at other J Crews and online are completely missing from here in favor or more trendy things. I went shopping here for something to wear to work and I couldn’t find anything I deemed work appropriate.
Staff is good, and it’s still my favorite J Crew, but sheesh, get better stuff in the women’s department.

This location is okay, but I will probably avoid it. The layout is narrow, and I had to do several passes because it was really quite clogged with the dozen or so people in the store; it felt like we were climbing over each other.
The staff were all genuinely friendly and helpful, which was really nice. But the cramped feeling and also the lack of adequate fitting room space (there are only a few rooms) will have me opting for the U-​District location in the future.
Also, paying for parking sucks, but that’s Pacific Place.

J. Crew has the best-​fitting men’s polo shirts I’ve ever found. The short-​sleeve vintage polo, nearly perfect for my wiry frame, is a staple of my summer wardrobe. The smartly dressed staff will hook you up with an open fitting room and make sure you find the sizes and colors you’re looking for. The prices are reasonable, too: about $ 25 for a vintage polo when there’s a sale going on. Better fit and lower prices than Polo brand? I’m there. Another nice feature of J. Crew clothing is the absence of logos. I’d rather wear smart, understated clothes than show off with conspicuous logos and graphics. Aside from the polo shirts, I haven’t ventured into other areas of the men’s department, but I probably should.

J Crew is great for tone down casual and perfect Friday clothes for the office.
Don’t know why but I can’t fit sweaters… either fits good on top and bad fit below the chest or just too small or large overall. I find the J Crew’s v-​neck sweaters in medium is a perfect size for me and it is super duper comfy that look great on me by itself or over a button up shirt. It runs about $ 70 a pop for the v-​neck sweaters. I just wish it came in black but navy will do.
Melody is a doll, she must have brought me every color and size to the dressing room. She also help gave her opinion if it look great or sucky on my body. Great customer service and also rang me up at the cashier for fast service.
Easy parking since this J Crew is located in the Pacific Place Mall. I will be back!

This is a really nicely kept J. Crew that’s in a very convenient location of Pacific Place… the clothes are kept neatly and everything just looks so nice. I agree, regular J. Crew prices are kind of outrageous but if you raid the sale racks, sometimes the prices are definitely a lot more reasonable. For example I got this cute yellow sequin tank top for $ 20.
They often do additional percent off sale. This usually means that the items are final sale though, so no returns or exchanges. I recently got a colorblock top for $ 12 and a sequined boatneck top for $ 30.
The fitting room on the far left is kind of odd though. The mirror makes you look slightly distorted. If you have that room, I would recommend stepping out to use the common mirror.
Also the sales staff are super nice here.

Well obviously J Crew is going to get five stars if I base it just off of the clothes, but the service here was impeccable. The guys were super helpful with getting me everything I needed, giving me advice on what color of boot to choose, giving me a free shoehorn leftover from Father’s Day gifts, and even hooking me up with a student discount. I’ll definitely be back next time I feel like going shopping… which will undoubtedly be sooner than I’d like it to be.

they don’t make ³⁵⁄₃₄ pants? Barney’s sells 35″ in waists… Blackbird sells 35″ inch waists… Mario’s sell 35″ in waists… but J-flippin’-Crew doesn’t because they’re too focused on attempting to improve their butt-​stink reputation by offering $ 500 boyfriend jeans for banjo-​butted girls.
oh — and the buttons always fall off their $ 80 (non-​split yoke, single-​stitched, plastic buttoned) oxfords.
You suck JCrew — please swallow.

First I wish downtown kept their original 2 floor layout… Then their stock would be crazy. In all the downtown store is nice, probably the most stocked in the Seattle area. For menswear it has suits, good amount of blazers, most of the shirts in the catalog, urban slim chinos, and a decent amount of denim… don’t expect to see all the catalog shoes though. Good customer service, if you need a size they will offer to call other J.Crews. Or ask to use the red phone to order from the online stock and get the in store price, shipping is typically free (Bellevue is more willing to offer/​assist with this process then Downtown).
Commentary on the line… Both mens/​womanswear is nice, clean, sharp, progressive. … last few years JCrew has been on the up and up. the new creative has reinvigorated the style, fit and appeal… if u don’t believe me go check

JCrew is my staple for basics, necessities, and some go to pieces. Can’t load up on all Band of Outsiders Flannels, APC Jeans, Rag Bone Cardigans… U get the pictures. mix the high and the medium.
At the original price, JCrew maybe a high. However 30−50% additional on sale prices are the HIT…

I want to give this place more stars but I feel like J Crew is much better suited as a men’s store. I love the clothes but they never run in quite the right size. Everything is too big! They don’t always carry the size I want… so I have to order it online anyway. And again — the men’s selection is much more classic.
I feel like the men’s clothes make better staple items. Beads on tees won’t be in style next season. nor will the color peach. But Army inspired green jackets, cable knit sweaters, leather belts, and slacks (for men) will always look good on someone. Oh… and the accessories are overpriced. Gosh… I’m a whiner tonight with this review but I just feel like the quality of the clothes/​accessories vs the prices isn’t equal.

After I deposited random check (kisses to you again random check, love you!!), I was pulled by some invisible magnetic force into J. Crew. I really wish that force would have sucked me into Old Navy (lie), but there is really nothing that can be done about invisible magnetic forces. You just have to give in. It’s ok. Really.
Anyhoo — totally needed a new black cardigan because I go through them like I do — well, money, and OOPSY! How did this fucking hot jersey dress get in here? What the hell with the trouser jeans? Naughty little things! Oh well, I guess I have to take you home and LOVE YOU UP.
I’m a terrible person with absolutely no self control and yet, that BJ still has my back. *FIVES* little guy!
