AT&T

Team standing around, one guy did approach and he was friendly. My problem — to get an old phone activated, am no longer in AT&T customer. They want to charge $ 25. They have house send cards to test equipment, can do it in a second. AT&T wants money, plain and simple. It is the worst customer service phone company in the United States.

If I could give NEGATIVE 10 stars I would. My phone stopped working so I stopped in to buy a replacement. They treated me as if I were a criminal or felon and did not believe the iphone I had was mine! Then as I was ready to buy a brand new iphone6 with $ 650 cash, forget it, I was too suspicious for them!
A total of 4 employees wasted 2 hours of my time.
When I got back to NYC, it took not even 10 minutes in and out of ATT to resolve my issue.
These specific store employees were HORRIBLE. Pure and utter incompetence who ruined my last evening in Seattle.
Despicable. They should be ashamed of themselves!

After a horrible experience with customer service over the phone at AT&T, I decided to go into a store and I chose the one at Pacific Place, the closest to my home. The first person to greet me was Ryan Kim, he not only helped me order my phone, fix mistakes and give me in detail what my new payments were going to be, he gave incredible customer service and at the end of the day, Peace of mind. He restored my faith in customer service and treated me with compassion. I will NEVER ever call AT&T again, I will continue to go into the store. Thank you Ryan, you deserve all the praise. Thank you thank you

I had my phone stolen recently, which is already a frustrating situation. But I pay for insurance, so once I filed a claim they sent me a new phone! Things were looking up!
Then, hoping to get help setting up my new phone, I went in to this location. The place was nearly empty, full of employees, and a guy came up to me right away to ask if I needed help. I pulled out my new phone, started to explain the situation, and he pulled back as if burned. Then he told me that if it was an insurance thing they couldn’t help me with it. I said that I just needed help setting the phone up because I kept getting errors and problems. He asked if it was making phone calls, and I said I didn’t know. It had connected to wifi, so I assumed so, but I hadn’t tried. He just repeated that I needed to call the number for the insurance people and he couldn’t help me.
I assumed he would know better than me, so I headed up to the U District, where I live, to get my paperwork and call the insurance company. On the way, as soon as I got out of range of wifi, I discovered that in fact, it was not making phone calls, which makes it a little difficult to call a tech support person.
Now I’ve had to walk an extra 20 minutes to the nearest U District AT&T store, and I’ve waited in line for another 20 minutes for them to have an agent free to help me, and I still have no working phone.
So thanks, guys. You were clearly too busy to take a minute and actually make sure you couldn’t help me before telling me to go away.

Run away from this company and never look back! Awful customer service. Ridiculous inflated prices. A video to explain my bill? That is the most insane idea. If one needs a five minute video to explain a bill there is something sinister in it. I’ve never felt more used after a purchase. Listen consumers: anything has to be better than at&t.any any other company must be better.

Unethical.
We have a business account with 10 lines. Two phones were damaged. I took them back and attempted to exchange the phones. When purchasing the phones on different dates, and by different reps, a representative told me I did not have insurance on one of the damaged phones when I did. This was the same rep who sold the phone to me 3 weeks prior. He did not seem at all interested in looking into the situation further until I insisted that I did have insurance on the phone he sold me 3 weeks earlier.
Later in the conversation, I was told that I did not have insurance on the second damaged phone.
I complained and insisted he look up my account and to speak to the manager. After investigating the manager told me found that one phone had insurance but insisted the other did not, although I ordered it at the time of purchase, as it was a business phone held by company employees.
After a great deal of pressuring the manager agreed that the first phone was covered by insurance (something easily seen by looking at my contract) and that the second phone would be replaced by insurance which it never has.
Additionally, when purchasing one of the phones for which I later made a claim, I purchased 2 tablets in contract for which I was told the charge would be $ 10 each per month. I’ve been charged $ 50 each per month.
Lastly, AT&T only seems to allow two claims per account, although it charges insurance for each phone. They seem to decline more than one claim per year regardless of the individual phone, while charging insurance monthly on each phone.
I’ve referred the company to the Attorney General’s office and to the federal FCC, and am canceling my business contract.
Stay away from AT&T, and especially this store.

We walked up to AT&T with our one year old in tow after an accident involving our phone and a bath tub. Jehosuah was a great rep. Having a one year old running around and helping set up our phone was a breeze. Great customer service– helpful, attentive and efficient.

Super helpful employees! I went in at lunch to decide whether to upgrade from 1 iphone to another or to make the switch to an Android. They were patient while answering my questions. I went back later to purchase my phone and had a different sales associate. He was also very helpful especially when I was having difficulty with trying to get everything taken care of in a crunched amount of time. I have been with AT&T for over 15 years and don’t see myself going anywhere else.

Yup, you guess it. When I walked away and out the door while you were still yelling at me, you had to figure that I’d write about it.
I knew what I wanted, you had 10 minutes to tell me the price, charge me and bag my new Samsung Note 4 but instead your high pressure, condescending sales pitch was more than I was willing to tolerate.
The «Next Plan» is a ripoff. I told you I didn’t want to hear about it and I just wanted the price of the phone with the two year upgrade. You then began to insult my intelligence and ignored my simple question, «What’s the price of the phone with a two year plan?».
After I asked politely and then responded to your continued pitch about the Next Plan, «please don’t waste my time explaining the Next Plan, I just want the phone», you continued on.
Well, I walked out… Yes, I could hear you yelling as I walked out the door…
Avoid this store, avoid the Next Plan.

I spoke with Leah, a sales representative at this store, and was absolutely appalled by her condescending tone and attitude. I am an educated and professional African American woman, who believes in giving and receiving respect, especially for those in the customer service field. Leah was contacted to solve a very simple matter concerning a sim card. Instead of simply explaining that procedures for corporate stores are different from the outlets, she began talking to me like I was a child. My husband and I carefully choose where we spend our money. Undue disrespect from sales/​customer service representatives will cause us to switch phone carriers.
An interesting note: I am almost 46 years old and this is the first negative thing I’ve written about a customer service experience.

This AT&T location is terrible; try the one on 4^th & Pike. I stopped by the store for headphones and a case for my new phone. The rep with the (British?) accent was really friendly and helpful. When I was ready to check out, he passed me over to the store manager behind the register and asked him to ring me up. However, instead of ringing me up, the manager continued to socialize with two guys who were visiting from another AT&T store that were asking about possibly transferring to this store. After the guys left, the manager continued to talk to another rep in the store. I was literally standing in a half empty store with a credit card in hand. After a few more minutes I walked away empty handed and the manager still didn’t even acknowledge me. Worst customer service ever. I have 5 lines on my account and I am definitely going to shop around when the contracts end in a few months.

I feel funny writing a review for an AT&T store, but this one’s long overdue. I’ve walked through these doors with any number of phone issues and questions, and I now make it a point to visit this store first whenever I have an issue. The employees have been friendly, helpful, and patient each and every time I’ve stopped by. If you get the right person, they’ll nearly bend over backwards to help. There have been a couple times when I felt like I was at a figurative dead end, and these guys still made it right.
Highly recommended.

I have been overwhelmingly impressed with the three AT&T stores I’ve visited in Seattle/​Tukwila the past few weeks. I went in a few days ago to trade in my old iPhone 4 phone for cash… I was told I could get $ 100 for it if I returned it within the next few weeks… when I took it in though, a girl helped me out immediately and said the current trade-​in price and it was (sadly) only $ 35.
BUT!
If I chose to take store credit, I could pick out $ 200 worth of products in-​store. Um, YES!
So I picked out a 16GB iPad mini 2. Retails for $ 429, $ 100 discount for signing a two year contract, and with the $ 200 credit, I walked out of there with a $ 130 iPad mini.
It turns out I wasn’t supposed to get the deal she told me about… I don’t know what I should’ve actually gotten, but the thing is that they honored it anyways… now that is excellent customer service. The girl who was helping me was also incredibly patient when answering all of my dozen or so questions. I left a happy customer that day!
I have always been impressed with AT&T’s customer service. Shout out to the AT&T store in Tukwila for replacing my glass protector screen for free when Apple needed to replace my home button… it certainly wasn’t their problem, but being that I had had the phone for a week, they decided to help me out. YAY! Thanks guys. :o)

There’s been a few times that I’ve had to go into this store, including getting assistance on phone issues, to upgrading/​changing plans, and even buying new phones, etc. Each time, the service has been good, fast, and friendly. Never had any issues with this store. I feel that AT&T as a whole is relatively expensive for cellular service, but all of the mobile companies in USA and Canada are. But pricing aside, I have not had any major issues.

I went into the store yesterday to upgrade my phone and change my rate plan. I worked with Warren. He was very nice and knowledgeable. The service and the whole transaction went smoothly.

The service is excellent.
And the signal covered most of the places, which provide strong 4G network.

Since nobody likes how much they pay for their phone, I’ll skip over my rating of AT&T as a whole, and just comment on the customer service experience I had recently:
Called AT&T’s Downtown Seattle location to ask a few clarification questions about starting a new phone plan, and was connected with Oliver, a customer service representative working at the time. Followed his suggestion and opted to come into the store to figure it out in person.
Originally planned to use an old phone I was borrowing, so Oliver helped me pick a plan based on my previous phone usage, and got me a new number for the old phone. Right after I finished signing up for everything and paying, I headed home.
Unfortunately realized later that day that I needed a new device after all since I ended up needing to give back the phone I had been borrowing. When I came back to the store the 2^nd time, I was told I needed to get a new number to get the new phone discounted rate blah blah. Not the greatest news (since I had spent the previous hour texting everyone about my new number), but Oliver walked me through the process again, this time with a new iPhone 5s… and a new number. He was very nice and helpful (both times I worked with him that day), even showed me how to use the AT&T app to monitor my account. It made the somewhat frustrating day quite a bit less frustrating.
Been with AT&T for like a decade so I’m not sure I’d go anywhere else, but everyone I interacted with this location seemed nice and professional. Not sure what it looks like during peak hours but I’d come back here if I needed anything AT&T related (even though there’s a location closer to me – I’m loyal to good first impressions.
One weird thing I noticed: the store doesn’t get great service lol. Seems kind of ironic for a cellphone store (but it’s below ground level).

I don’t enjoy wasting my energy posting negative Unilocal reviews but I had a very negative and totally sleazy experience at the AT&T store at Pacific Place.
I was running some errands downtown today and as it happened, I was having some minor issues with my 15 day old iPhone 5s. So, I thought I would run by the store to chat about options.
I got this fellow who seemed ok, I told him about the situation with the phone, and also mentioned that I would like to possibly get a larger phone as I have a difficult time reading my emails etc.
He told me that he would have to «discuss» it with his «boss» The misogynistic Brandon Coleman.
I was one day over the «buyers remorse» exchange/​return date so helping me became a a big situation.
The fellow and his misogynistic boss Brandon Coleman had a big, big meeting over what to do about my 15 day old iPhone 5 and concluded that they didn’t want to do anything about it. And let me tell you, he wasn’t nice about it.
Needless to say, I was incensed by the whole situation. I have been a loyal customer of AT&T for more that 10 years and had never had ‘buyers remorse/​returned a phone” in all the time I’ve been with the company.
Nor have I ever been treated with such ugliness EVER!
I got into my car and I called the corporate office I spoke with Russell Short a supervisor who assured me that he would contact Brandon Colemans boss.
Heres something strange, as I walked out of the AT&T store and crossed the street to Nordstrom, I started talking to a woman at the stop light. When I told her I was just kicked out of the AT&T store, she told me that she had been kicked out of that store two months ago by the same guy. She told me that she called corporate too. So, if this has happened to you, I would encourage you to call 611 and let them know.
If you have a problem like I did, you can also call his GM Tyson at the att store at pacific place.
PS. There are better places to shop for your phone and your phone accessories. I ended up at University Village where Jeff (the nicest guy ever!) helped me out. Go see Jeff or Amanuel they will take amazing care of you.

I just wanted to apologize to this AT&T store. My REALLY bad review for AT&T was for the other store. On Pine (I think), and 3^rd Ave. Not 6^th or 7^th Ave.
But just the other day, I needed help with my phone, so I came here and
was pleasantly surprised. Totally different than the other store. People are actually smiling and very happy to help. I am so happy I finally found my AT&T store!
Sorry. No, this is definitely not my store anymore. Nor will AT&T be my carrier after YEARS of bills paid in full arriving before the due date.
I sure won’t miss any Att employes since the last store I reviewed told me themselves they and no one that works for AT&T knows how to really use the special voicemail I’ve been paying for for years but never ever could anyone in Seattle figure it out.
That’s just real sad! Another «SAD» thing is how the 1^st store lied to my face 3 times. Went back extremely mad, as anyone would be if they were handed over a phone that was supposedly …“Just unwrapped it… right out of the box. The phone that we couldn’t fix for you was a lemon, a dud.“
Well, someone once told me to always make some kind of discreet marking on your cell. So, I marked with some marker, or ??? (Im not telling my
secret!), anyway, point is… I am kicked out by the manager for the rest of my life. Why? Because after the 1 manager SWORE 3 times that this is in no way your old phone… went to car, took off cover of phone, and YES!!! There is my proof! The mark I made is still there! This is the «Lemon» he was telling me this phone was.
Ok, so come on, anyone would be very irritated, stressed, angry, impulsive, rageful, etc…
I returned to the store and confronted this manager. I was pretty loud I admit, but that is «ME» I will not change the volume of my voice for any state whatsoever. Or my sense of humor that nobody understands here. I’m assuming its either above their heads, or all they know is how you must treat people in Seattle that were not born here., or shall I say «TRANSPLANTS»?
Ok, I needed to get that out.
Anyway, the manager turned around big and red-​faced because I GOT HIM!
But…I didn’t. Who is his boss going to believe? A good employee, or a crazy girl from NJ/​NY going back to the store all pissed off?
Yes! Correct… The big boss I guess, believed his employee., the one who lied 3 times in my face, then comes back with…”???, I have no idea (boss) of what she is talking about. We couldn’t fix her phone and told her we can’t do anything since all the techs are contractors and not employees with AT&T.
Yes, that’s one more thing to add. Forgot sorry! Yes. The people in Seattle that have AT&T as their carrier, now you know if something happens to your phone, it’s just some contractor who doesn’t know… ESPECIALLY if the EMPLOYEES don’t know, how to fix it.
I honestly am more sad than angry. But on September 20^th and the 2 new iPhones coming out, I’m willing to pay the $ 300.00 for early termination because now I know since I will be calling it MY HOME… SEATTLE, whether I’m a transplant forever and get treated like I’m so low class when… Anyways, I’m through. Tired. Worse year of my life all due to AT&T.
Many, many, many miscommunication with my family, who I don’t talk to anymore, and its all due to a Lemon of a phone with a sad unknowledgeable company. Or should I say town? City? Whatever. Doesn’t matter anymore.

I was here actually needing help with a service question.
I walked in and started looking for staff who were around and available. There were 3 or 4 staff there but all of them were helping others. I saw one guy behind the counter but he was busy typing on his computer. Other staff who were also behind the counter were all helping other customers. I went up to him and he quickly looked up and immediately had his eyes glued back to his computer screen and said nothing. I asked if he could help with my billing question. He said go ask the guy who is in a light blue shirt without looking up back at me at all.
I went up to the guy in a light blue shirt. He said ok I will take your name down and you are the first person in queue so we will find you shortly.
I waited around for 10 minutes and my name was on the screen the whole time. A female staff has been helping out with this other customer so I thought maybe she would be the one to help me. I waited around. She finished helping the other customer and just started chatting with her co-​worker. I went up to her and let her finishing chatting and she was like have you been helped? I was like no. She said did someone register you? I was like yeah and my name is on the screen. Then I looked at the screen and realized that my name was not on there anymore. She looked at me and was super skeptical as if I were a shoplifter. Then she hesitated for seconds and was like let me go check with another staff. She came back and said someone probably accidentally deleted my name off the queue.
My experience may be an isolated incident. It is difficult because I cannot figure out if I should give out a 2 or 3 star. It is not like my experience in other ATT stores have been better. But then it was definitely a below average customer service experience.
