Very good food. We stayed at the Seattle Waterfront Marriott, and my wife was on a strict medical restriction diet. The staff were great at accommodating our needs and going above and beyond what was expected. Will definitely go again the next time in in town. King Salmon — We loved the crispy skin and roasted fresh veggies. Fishermans Stew — Amazing! Great flavor with a little bit of heat to it. Top notch!

4 stars is for happy hour. Id pass on the restaurant as there are too many spots to eat in Seattle. Otis is the best waiter and you should seek this guy out if you want a terrific experience at a great waterfront happy hour spot.

We’ve only ever had the ‘crab benedict’ but it is excellent. Everything else looks pretty darn good too. Great service as well. In fact that Marriott the restaurant is in is an awesome hotel. :)

I spent a week in Seattle and always passed this restaurant on my way back to the hotel. I figured later on that it’s a part of the hotel. Yes, I am such a tourist! My boyfriend has access to the Marriott lounge, so we’d normally have breakfast there. However, the lounge is closed on weekends. Instead, the hotel gave us a voucher for us to have a complementary continental breakfast at this restaurant. It was fairly busy on Saturday morning. The continental breakfast consists of dry goodies, such as bagels, muffins, and pastries. You also have hot items, such as oatmeal and scrambled eggs. If you wanted more hot items, you’d simply add $ 7 a person. We opted not to, as there were cold cuts and cheese to keep our protein levels in check. The tea was divine. I had peppermint tea. It was loose leaf and so flavourful. I didn’t bring my phone to take photos. Instead, these photos are still on his phone! I will need to pry them from him soon. The food was yummy. He loved the fresh fruit and large walnuts that he had with his oatmeal. I loved my scrambled eggs and apple cinnamon muffin. Service was superb. We had a great last breakfast at the hotel before we headed to the airport. (53)

The service and food were great. I had the razor clam chowder, Skuna Bay salmon, forest mushrooms, and vegetables. Absolutely amazing.

Great food. Pricey but worth it. We had breakfast and dinner here. Not a lot of restaurants open after 5pm near the waterfront. Great service and food.

My company has been booking blocks of rooms at the Marriott for over 400 employees every year for several years now. Against my better judgment, I ordered room service which is provided by the Hook and Plow. In years past, I have deemed their service to be slow although friendly, their food to be lousy, and the prices to be inflated. Tonight’s service was consistent with my previous experiences. My husband’s burger, which he ordered medium, came raw. A second attempt at serving the burger resulted in one that was well well done. I ordered lemonade and was served pure, undiluted and unsweetened lime juice. I unknowingly took a giant swig which made me instantly nauseous. I was told that they used lime due to running out of lemonade and that another would be sent up with the burger. I never got the second juice. Finally, I ordered clam chowder for my meal. It arrived ice cold. When I called to inform room service, I was told a microwave could be sent to my room. Needless to say, no food was eaten, and the«meal» was comped. I have learned my lesson.

«The Dream Buffet» is next level amazing!!! The French toast is the best I’ve ever had, the eggs Benny is out of bounds good, and the Beecher’s cheese omelette was fab!!! The service from the manager J.R. was exceptional super friendly and attentive the server Hank also super friendly and Johnny on the spot for anything I needed without hovering they knew what I wanted before I did The Dream Buffet is under priced at $ 27! Sooooooooooo worth it!!! I go every chance I get and you should too!!!

Had the lamb which was good. The service was good but be aware when ordering I was asked what side and sauce I wanted with the impression that it came with the meal to find out when the bill was delivered that there was an additional charge. So the cost of the meal does not include any sides. In my case it was just for the lamb.

Lot of people who complained seems to be people not used to hotel food and their pricings. Went here with my dad since he was staying at this hotel for his business trip and we enjoyed it very much(: My steak was pretty decent, the Kale and Pesto? Pasta was REALLY good(my favorite for that night!) and their poutine was pretty good! Tiramisu was alright! Wish they had the cake kind instead of the lady fingers. My only complaint was my brother’s fish size and the oysters were laughably small! xD AHAHAHAHA! They were so cute!

Loved this place! My boyfriend and I stayed at the Marriott this past Saturday night and ate dinner and Sunday breakfast at the restaurant. Usually hotel restaurants are overpriced and under-quality, but Hook & Plow really blew us both away. For dinner we shared a shrimp cocktail appetizer, I had the halibut, and boyfriend ordered the rosemary chicken. Everything was great! The halibut was cooked perfectly – just lightly seasoned with salt and pepper and seated in olive oil. It came with a choice of sauces; I had the lemon butter sauce, which was delicious. The accompanying arugula salad was good, too. The chicken was flavorful(although the boar bacon was a little fatty). Boyfriend ordered grilled asparagus to accompany his chicken, which was good but just an FYI, it comes on a bed of hollandaise sauce(not good for lactose intolerant boyfriend). Our server was nice and took it back to the kitchen for a new plate sans sauce. We then split the chocolate cake for dessert, which was tasty and rich(although the berries that came with it were definitely not macerated, like the menu said). My halibut was only $ 26, which is so reasonable for delicious seafood. I looked at the menus of some other restaurants there on the waterfront, and their fish dishes all started around $ 35. It was a reasonable price for really good food. Breakfast the following morning didn’t disappoint either. At first, we thought the prices were a little steep but realized that a $ 17 breakfast included coffee, juice, toast, and your main food item. Again, a reasonable price for tasty food(I had oatmeal with fresh berries and a bagel; boyfriend had eggs, bacon, and a bagel). Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good quality and good-priced meal in downtown Seattle. Don’t be off put by the fact that it’s a restaurant hotel!

Amazing meal tonight at Hook and Plow! I enjoyed the H&P angus burger– and it turned out to be all worth it! It was surprisingly quiet for 530 pm, with only two other tables occupied. There was lots of staff on hand, and be barely had to wait for our food! A nice appetizer to get is the onion rings! I think they use less oil to make it healthier, but still taste great!

Had breakfast here with my husband and a few friends while staying at the Marriott. Hubby had dungeness crab eggs benedict, which he said was amazing and wouldn’t share. My eggs and potatoes were solid; I don’t know what they do to those little taters, but they were the tastiest breakfast potatoes I’ve ever had. The service was on point, and it was reasonably priced. I’d go back just for the breakfast potatoes.

Delicious flatbread and great local beer on tap. I relaxed at the bar after walking around the waterfront and the Pike street market. Friendly bar staff!

Surprisingly good. I’m only saying that because it’s in a hotel. Had a wide selection of food as a sampling to include pallea, cedar plank salmon(very good!), vegetable fried rice, rice noodles, phở. All good. And locally sourced it seems. Worth a try if you’re at the Marriott.

The service was solid. The food was really solid. They get that extra bump to a 4th star for taking the passport card which got us a free entrée. The fish and chips were awesome. The kale pasta with mushrooms was very unique and tasty. they also had a nice wine selection. If visiting Seattle again, would make a point to go back here. Plus, we weren’t even staying at this hotel.

Such a fantastic place! Have a seat at the bar and prepare to wine and dine! The miso cod is light, creamy, and savory. The noddles add a great fun crunch to every bite! The wine selections are perfect and the ambiance is perfect as well. The service though… deserves 6 stars!!! From the hostess to bartender and the manager, they set the standard for what a great dining experience should feel. I can’t wait to come back!

I have been staying at the Marriot for 3 nights now and have eaten here 3 nights in a row. The food is outstanding! The service is outstanding as well! This restaurant is seriously under rated because it is in fact attached to a hotel and has a serious lack of visibility as a standalone restaurant — but trust me… It’s really friggin good! I recommend the sausage slider, fish tacos and angus burger. I’d also like to mention what a great server/receptionist Elizabeth is… Probably the sweetest most friendly person you can meet in this whole city! I recommend Hook and Plow!
