Wow, this place is a cozy hidden gem… but it won’t be for long! It recently opened and the well-designed posh yet understated sign on the door caught my attention as I was passing by one day. Walking in, I see that there is a variety of seating options, including a few coffee tables good for 2, a large community table for 6 – 8, and a bar area for sipping solo. The entire space is pretty small and seats around 20 people, however, the space did not feel crowded at all. In fact, it felt pretty light and airy even on an overcast day with the natural light streaming through the tall vertical windows. I arrived around 10am and there was open seating. Seating did not seem to fill up during the day. At the counter, I was greeted by the friendly staff, who told me that they have tried all their pastries in order to make genuine recommendations. I asked what was popular, and the staff suggested the chocolate croissant. As a fan of chocolate croissant, I happily took his suggestion. I ordered a dark coffee to accompany my little treat. The coffee was aromatic without a burnt taste, and perhaps a little more on the acidic side. The chocolate croissant had a good ratio of pastry and chocolate, and was of satisfactory«flakiness» for a café(vs. a specialized bakery) with individual thin, crispy layers. I settled into a seat at the community table to do some work. The height of the table was a little too high for the chairs, but I still felt very comfortable and spent a few very productive hours there. If it weren’t for my restlessness and need to move every few hours, I would’ve stayed longer. There were a few outlets by the coffee tables and bar seating area, and one at the community table. The wifi speed was great for simple internet literature search. Lighting was soft and lovely with the natural light in the day. Can’t wait to be back again!

This is a fairly new coffee shop and I go to all kinds of coffee shop to get my work done, since this place is close to where I live I had to give it a try. Environment: Very friendly, not too many tables(maybe only 4 regular tables, 1 big wooden diner table and 1 bar) but good for about 20 people. So much natural light goes in even with a cloudy day. Everything is clean and modern. When you go in you are looking right in the order table which is really nice. But somehow the menu is separated on the chalk board so it’s a bit confusing. Food: I had a 8oz latte and a sandwich from the refrigerator counter(on the right of the order table). The latte is good, the foam is not thick tho. The sandwich is ok, I wish they offer sandwiches that are warm from them instead of other company.(or maybe I couldn’t see it since the menu is unclear) Internet: As I assumed there’s no WiFi nor plug-ins. I saw a girl found one behind the couches but that’s probably it. Not many plug-ins and no Wi-Fi so be aware if you wanna work on your laptop all day. Overall: It’s a good place to be with friends and chill but not really for work. Staffs are friendly and talkative which is good. I liked this place but since they don’t really have plug-ins and not too many seats to choose, I won’t come too often. Maybe just a short coffee break sometimes.

Spacious and airy with plenty of natural light — which is awesome during these Seattle winter months. If you’re someone who likes to rub elbows with strangers then you’ll appreciate the many shared table spaces. Great décor, good tunes and speedy wifi all make this place an exceptional 2nd office. Staffs are friendly and it’s great to see the owner, Chelsea and boss-lady, Hana here greeting the customers and being hands on with the staffs. All around great new addition to the neighborhood!

Honor Coffee & Tea is like Stumptown on Zoloft: much more cheerful, equally laid back, and equally dedicated to coffee. One of the proprietors, Hana, hails from LA and brings that effortlessly cool, chill SoCal attitude to the place. The store feels spacious and gets plenty of natural light that makes it feel cozy and bright, even on a classic rainy Seattle day. I love the furniture and light fixtures here, and have major design envy over the wooden table and leather seats. They just opened this week, so expect a few kinks to be worked out. They were offering a drink on the house today as part of their soft opening, which I thought was a very sweet and thoughtful gesture to the neighborhood! I had the iced Americano and lingered a bit while doing some coding work. The Americano was good and very smooth, with no acidity at all. They have an array of delicious-looking pastries, both sweet and savory. The staff are super friendly. Prices seem to be on par with Starbucks and other coffee shops. WiFi? Check Free street parking? Check(but might be hard to find at times) Premium loose leaf tea? Check I’ll be back :)
