Usually have Good burgers but they forgot the BBQ sauce on my BBQ burger and I was already on the road. Also saw the chef bite his nails and not using gloves when he was cooking my burger. Ick.

Dome Burger is a hole-in-the-wall shop that’ll work in a pinch. The fries are super salty and the burgers are standard fare, but the lone staffer is nice and the brews are cheap. WYSIWYG.

All I have to say is really amazing burgers! I’d say one of the best is the Sweet Chili Kimchi Burger, that someone reviewed a bit ago down the list, is my favorite. They also had a really yummy special a while back too called the Grand Slam burger… it had a fried egg cooked on it – need I say more? They’re open pretty late unlike a lot of places is Seattle, I think like 2am or 3am, so if you’re a late night snacker like me it’s the place to go.

It’s not fine dining, but good solid burger and fries. Great place to eat before a game. And kid friendly

My son and I decided to stop in Dome Burger after a Mariners game, since a philly sammich place recently moved… we were pleasantly surprised. I noticed the place before, but paid to mind to it or ventured in. We wanted something out of the ordinary, we settled on a Sweet Chili KimChi Burger. We were surprised on how it tasted. We split the burger, but after a few bites in, we wished we ordered our own. The burger had the right amount of sweetness from the chili and the burger itself was cooked to perfection. Still juicy and had a slight crunch from the camelization from the flattop. The icing on the cake was the brioche buns it was encased in. Thank you Dome burger… we’ll be back again soon!

Showed up at 5pm with 8 hungry teens. Ordered 7 burgers and a teriyaki, with loads of fries. The proprietor is running the place solo, taking orders and cooking. Yummy burgers and fast service! For teriyaki, it was good but better to head instead to Uwajimaya in Chinatown.

This place is surprisingly good! Why surprisingly? Well, considering it’s tucked away right next to the shady mart and usually accompanied by Sketchy McSketcherson, I was plesantly suprised! I was actually trying to go to Calozzi’s to get myself a cheesesteak. I was definitely in the mood for something greasy and was super disappointed to find out that they had closed(well, moved). I settled with Dome Burger, and glad that I did! This trip was awhile back, so don’t remember the particulars other than the burger and fries were great. Good quality bun, flavorful sauces, and meat was seasoned very well. The fries were hot and crispy as well. Exactly what I expect from a burger joint. If I remember correctly they have quite a few different types of burgers and I’d be glad to come back and try different ones.

One of my favorite local lunch spots. They’ll make a burger as a lettuce wrap if you ask, which is great if you’re on a low-carb or gluten free diet. My go-to is the double bacon cheeseburger; filling and delicious.

I will admit to you that the only times I have been here have been around 2:00am after consuming my fair share of cool, refreshing beverages. Of course, under these circumstances, any reasonably decent food will seem like the best meal you’ve ever consumed. Well, as I sit here typing this review having not consumed any cool, refreshing beverages, I would not go as far as to label Dome Burger’s products as the best things ever although I will still confidently say that they do make a good, quality burger. My favorite item here is there fried chicken burger(with cheese and bacon, of course) as it is just the right combination of deliciousness and does exactly what you want it to right when you need it. I also have to give a big shout out to the employees here for confidently working through the staggering and stumbling masses of near-humanity that seem to inhabit this place during those late hours. The cook even came out and shoo’ed away a bum as he was pestering folks who were waiting in line. Maybe some day I will stop in at a decent hour to put their food to the test under more normal circumstances, but for now I am pretty satisfied with how they fill a very important need at a very important time.

Don’t know how reliable my review is as I’m always here past 2am as the bars and clubs close around the area but it’s delicious when I’m looking for a late night snack to soak up the alcohol. The service is always friendly and the food comes out pretty quickly. This is also a great place to people watch. You’ll see some very interesting customers here. They’re usually pretty drunk but none the less pretty entertaining. Be sure to get the garlic sauce. It is amazing on everything they serve here: burgers, fries, teriyaki, etc. It’s definitely a must try!

This place appears old and authentic. Quick, decent price, and actually a really good burger. Good option if you want something pre-game in SODO without a line or a wait.

If you’re in a Pioneer Square and need a good burger, you could go here. The ingredients are fresh and the burgers juicy. The spiced fries are nice. But I wouldn’t stay here to eat. The ambiance is lacking — plastic patio chairs just don’t seem right in an indoor restaurant. Its better for grab and go.

Awesome burgers! It’s the best thing I can say about them. They are located in Pioneer square between night clubs but are sadly only open in the week. So many different things to try and a cool little shop with a upper seating area though I’ve never ate in. I usually get it to go. The other thing is the cool payment method where you can use your smartphone to pay for your food and they even give you $ 5 to start with! If you love burgers, give them a shot. Can you say bleu cheese!

It’s a step above from being sketchy. I ordered a grilled chicken burger and fries. The chicken itself was actually kind of tasty. I just didn’t like that it was topped with thousand island dressing. Their shoe string fries were seasoned with some sort of special Red Robin-esque seasoning. It wasn’t much for my taste palette but I didn’t hate it. The tables were a little sticky which was kind of a turn-off as I put my arms on the table… I guess that should be a reminder of my manners. But, seriously? That’s not cool. Anyways, I’d probably come back here because it was alright, and somewhat cheap.

«Try everything once, and if you like it, try it again.» That’ usually my motto when it comes to new places to eat. Opening up next to LSC, I figured I’d give midnight teriyaki a shot. After trying it, suffice to say I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this place again unless things change. With a group of 8, we ordered a little bit of everything on the menu. The prices were a little higher than what places would normally charge for a burger or teriyaki, but I figured why not? The food in general was pretty average. The burger was alright, the chicken was alright, the fries were alright, and the teriyaki was… alright. My biggest gripe came from the portion size. For $ 8 – 10 teriyaki, you’d expect a very decent sized portion of teriyaki, but what we received left us hungry and made us regret not going next door and getting full off a cheese steak for the same price. The worst offender was the combo beef/chicken plate that looked like they literally took what was left over of two other orders and put it on his plate. Nothing can turn off a drunk club goer more than leaving a place still hungry. Maybe this review will be read by the owners and given some time, things will change, but until then, I can get more bang for my buck elsewhere. Décor: 3⁄5 nothing special but they have lots of tables(even an upstairs) Service: 4⁄5 nice guys Food: 2⁄5 EXTRA: It would have been 1.5 stars, but they won 2 stars by having affordable beer($ 3).

Dome Burger has changed! I’d give it 3.5 stars but Unilocal doesn’t allow that, so I’ll round up. This isn’t the most amazing burger but would be ideal on a night of drinking, or on the morning after. Grease, salt, decent(not amazing) flavor — it’s a genuine burger. The place has improved. Also, their menus say they close at 12am Thursday — Saturday, but the lady working there said it’s 2am — sweet.

Went in today for the first time in about 3 months(don’t like walking far downtown during winter) and was quick to notice Dome Burger is now under new ownership. Gone is the beloved toppings bar and in it’s place was a small selection of sauces. I ordered a double cheeseburger and was very pleased with the great customer service — the guy behind the counter was super friendly and brought the food out to my table very promptly. The new burgers have a very different taste and it wasn’t that«Yum!» I used to get from previous trips to Dome Burger. The fries also had a different taste, I believe it’s from the deep frier that taste like its used for other items outside of fries. I also had trouble with my burger falling apart while I was eating it — two thick(and juicy) patties was too much for the bun. I see potential — this place used to have rockin’ burgers. I would recommend the toppings bar be brought back and the burgers be made without sauces(let the customer choose their sauces and toppings). I really liked the taste of the meat and would be happy to visit again to get a single cheeseburger and top it myself. Customer service is A++ so I’ll be back in a few weeks and give them another try(though I’ll order a single cheeseburger with no sauces on it).

New owner with new, now homemade beef patties! I crave their burgers when it’s chilly outside. Only a few blocks away from my work, this place has quickly become my favorite. And apparently, they have lowered their prices recently. Nothing to keep me from giving it 5 stars.

New management sign with $ 3.99 burger beckoned my hungry stomach, so I made my way absentmindedly into Dome Burger. The proprietor is definitely selling the«homemade» aspect of their patties with copious amount of signage and a visit to my table to tell me. However, the patty was flavorless and very thin. The burger was overwhelmed by the lettece. Honestly, I rather they make it smaller but thicker. Removing cheese and pickle but adding grill onions didn’t result in a substitution, so the whole thing came to $ 5.50-ish with no drink. Tummy still hunger, very unsatisfying. Feeeeeed me.

Has taken a disappointing turn for the worse. It’s still under the same management — the same couple continue to cook & serve reasonably tasty burgers and teriyaki. For years this was my favorite down-scale hole-in-the-wall pioneer square teriyaki joint. However, over the past year, the teriyaki portions have declined substantially, replaced by pounds and pounds of greasy rice. In particular, the spicy teriyaki special has seen downsized spring rolls, and the decline of sauce. The large bag of wilted lettuce(no dressing) does little to make up for other cost-cutting initiatives. It is still tasty, but it doesn’t feel like the bargain it used to, and the giant heaps of rice and lettuce just go to waste. Although I still prefer the spicy sauce at Dome Burger, I would have to transfer my teriyaki affections to Ginger Teriyaki, nearby.
