Ordered a latte and a piece of coffee cake this afternoon and they were both great. Samuel, the working barista, was super friendly & service was quick. The café is cozy and well-lit. I’ll be coming back to study again.

I stopped by this morning for the first time as I happened to be too early for the postal office across the street to open. I ordered a large latte and I have to say it was the best latte I have ever had in 15 years of latte appreciation! It was creamy and smooth. I don’t know what coffee they use but it was delicious, without any hint of bitterness. I don’t write reviews as a habit but I felt compelled to, my latte was simply sublime. Wish I lived locally!

All I can say is AMBERAMBERAMBER! The only reason I continue to travel 15 miles out of the way to get a coffee is to get one from her. She rememberes EVERYONES orders even if they ordered a drink a month ago. She is organized, an extreme multitasker, efficient and incredibly warm. Oh, and she makes a mean latte… best in the city. I can’t say enough about this place and her.

Love this Diva shop. Amber is wonderful and makes a darn good latte. I hadn’t been back in a year(literally) and she remembered me and my drink. It’s a chain but each shop feels like its own little Indy coffeehouse. I’d give it 5 stars but the pastries are hit or miss.

Went here based on reviews. Spot on. Cozy chill atmosphere. Good coffee and tasty treats. Friendly barista. Great spot to meet a friend and catch up.

I loved this place and am so thankful I live so close by. I got an extra shot of espresso in my americano this afternoon! The coffee is great and the baristas were so nice. I am so thankful I stumbled in today :)

I used to go to the one in Wallingford, and loved the friendly staff. Then I moved North & went to the one right off Lake City, and was equally impressed. Always delicious drinks. One of my fav spots to enjoy a latte and a book. I only wish there were more locations!

You know that moment when you take a sip of coffee, then you take a deep breath because it’s so good and all seems right in the world for a moment? That’s what happened with me and a Genera here. Great espresso and the bit of orange make it interesting. If you’re in the need for a great coffee, Diva’s the place.

As a neighborhood coffee shop, Diva is just about perfect. Great coffee, good food options, nice big tables, and a friendly and cozy atmosphere. Thank you for being in the neighborhood Diva!

This has long been one of my favorite coffees in Seattle. Low key, super solid coffee. I like the vibe of the shops and you can always count on your Latte being smooth and tasty.

This place feels like home away from home when Amber is behind the counter! What a blessing to be welcomed by Name and usual drink. Even with long lines, she greets everyone upon entering!

I’m a Diva loyalist and have been spending a good amount of time in this one. It’s almost always quiet and empty-ish on weekday afternoons, which is good for me. Last time I was there though, the wifi was out and there was no sign up or anything, which bugged, but I’m loyal for a reason and that’s because the coffee is consistently SUPERB.

Today I wanted to try something new! I have never tried Diva Espresso until today– I usually go to one of the other dozen coffee shops by my house. There was a long line and when I walked in the barista asked me what drink she could get ready for me. That impressed me. The other people in line were all regulars that the barista«Amber» knew by name. I brought my baby with me and another customer mentioned she had a baby at home… anyways I enjoyed the nice people that seem to love this coffee shop. My latte was delicious and I loved the variety of breakfast goodies there were to choose from. I will definitely be visiting again! :D

Funky, comfy décor with big tables. Great cappuccinos and drip coffee. Tasty bakery items– I like the donuts and scones. If you are looking for a whole wheat something, this likely isn’t the place. The staff here are great– friendly, funny and welcoming. They make my day better.

Great location across the street from Blue Star Café off 45th, the service is amazing and the ambience is perfect for a coffee shop. Brandon and Amber will make whatever your heart’s desire or even whip something up if you have no idea what you are in the mood for. If you are a latte person, try the salted caramel or raspberry coconut. The selection of eateries and pastries are okay. Lots of tables, an honor library and small outdoor patio make this the perfect place to hang out for a bit to study or work. Background music is eclectic, ranging from Tony Bennett to Smashing Pumpkins, but is never overpowering. Great coffee, great folks, great place.

A mere few blocks away, on a block by itself, is the perfect study café. I found it at last! This optimal setting is welcoming, very non-diva esque, and therefore deserving of my praise. Here’s why: Wide, large tables, and only 5 of them at that, with relatively comfy chairs. No time-wasted here on people watching, no lines, no over-crowding(well, on a week day). Two or three tables have wifi only, the others are for catching up with a friend or reading. Catch the mid-day lull and you can get some serious work done, this place is not raucous, it’s relaxed and rad. The music can be heard gently in the background — this is key for when you’re nose deep in your Quant or Economics book and you need to concentrate. It irks me when the music is blasting in coffee shops and robs the place of any semblance of serenity. I sat here for a good few hours and only left because I had somewhere to be. Temperature was comfortable too. Onto the food and drink: The vegan scones are not bad at all, neither is the frothy chai latte. Coffee is solid, fair-trade, and you get one free re-fill. Overall, the pastry selection is not huge, but they have enough for snack time. They also have smoothies and other frosty drinks, which I have not tried yet. Staff, super friendly and efficient :) Ooh and on a sunny day, they have outside seating. I’ll be back tomorrow, hope there’s a spot for me, the barista did say it gets packed on the wkds.

Pull up a chair! If you need a moment of sanity accompanied by a well made cup of Joe, Diva Espresso serves it up with a style all their own. Shabby chic ambiance with beat up old school wooden tables & chairs and a crystal chandelier. Feel good vibes thanks to a little Frank Sinatra playing softly while I sip a Almond Soy latte and finish some work emails. Chalk board menus offer some house specialties. Limited bakery case, but a variety of chocolate covered biscotti’s if that is your thing.

With gratitude. They are near me. Their constant good nature and presence make the world a better place. It’s not just about coffee. It’s about community and making the world a happier place one moment at a time.

This place is way out of my normal haunts, but I can see why it’s so popular. They have fair trade espresso, well made, and with great fast service. It has a nice atmosphere for hanging out, and excellent eavesdropping prospects. I very much enjoyed my jalapeño bagel(genuinely spicy!) and double tall iced latte. In spite of not having air conditioning, they use fans and open doors and windows to the best advantage, and even though it was 90 F today, I didn’t get sweated out by any means. It was very comfortable.

This espresso stand has been here since I was old enough to drink coffee :) I remember going to my grandmother’s house next to st. john and wondered if diva espresso was for diva’s or if the women in their were diva’s. –Noted it’s just a name, and the people that work there are soooo utterly nice —- Anyhow, after 27 years of living I get to experience the fine cup of their espresso, and shoot if it doesn’t make you go ahhh chi wawa, then forgetaboutit :) It’s damn good coffee/espresso and I am glad it has not been stomped on by starbucks!!!
