Great experience getting CPR AED cert here. Fun, realistic, and informed.

Definitely worth the money. Had to get re-​certified in first aid, CPR, and AED use for an upcoming job. I had taken a quarter-​long course at Bellevue College for the same thing, and while that was fun, I feel that I got way more out of the four hours I spent at CPR Seattle than I did in three months at BC. Dan Engler, my instructor for the day, was incredibly knowledgeable and quite entertaining, too. Sometimes a little too over the top, but I think that gimmick is what you need to get the point across in a class like this.
Even if you don’t need a certification for your work, I’d still recommend that people get certified. Better to have the skill set and not need it, than to need it and not have it.
Street parking is available for a few blocks in the surrounding neighborhood. They provide tea, water, granola bars, and mints if you need them. Take the class. TAKE IT!

This place is awesome! Our instructor, Dan Engler, was really great. He was funny and friendly. Dan was super knowledgeable and supportive.
The office itself is set up pretty nicely. The bathroom was stocked with women’s pads which I thought was very thoughtful and there was some contact solution. This came in super handy when my contact got dry and when I scratched my eye, my contact popped out. They also provide tea, mints, water, and granola bars. If you’re gluten free, you should bring a snack. I also noticed that the sign on the door to the office was actually the sign from the show, The Office.
The props and instruction tools were super helpful. I just wish the DVD didn’t skip!
The time flew. It didn’t feel like were were there for 4.5 hours. We had a lot of fun! We look forward to taking the Pet CPR Class as well!

I’ve done a lot of CPR classes at this point due to coaching but Ryah made the class more than just something that has to get done and pushing you out the door. No offense Red Cross… but not really.
Ryah is very relatable and knowledgeable. There are a lot of things I didn’t know and made me want to learn about after taking the class because of her instruction. Also, she’s super funny which doesn’t hurt. I think more people would take a CPR class if they knew that this place existed. I certainly will be coming here to renew my certifications. Maybe even take a pet class! :)

Our company uses CPR Seattle for our training and couldn’t be happier. We have a small company and we work with people so we always need our vendors to have a bit of flexibility with us. Every time Zoe and the team come through with a smile and a good attitude even after we have made so many changes. The classes are thorough and we always learn something new.

Well done CPR/​first aid class with an effective blend of videos, lecture and hands on practice. The hours flew by. David is very passionate and clearly knows his stuff, his teaching approach is friendly yet laser-​focused. Highly recommended for personal or professional learning.

CPR Seattle was an excellent location to obtain my ACLS certification. The Potts’ were a great couple to teach this: He is an EMT, she works in the Harborview Emergency Department. They were highly informative yet made learning interesting as we worked through 2 days of drills and essentials needed for successful ACLS demonstration and passing the written exam. Thank you for such a supportive environment and positive experience. Highly recommended!

I just got certified for my bls, healthcare providers today and it truly deserves the stars it has. My instructor, Josh, was great– knowledgable, friendly, and experienced.
Driving from federal way, this place was worth the drive. I had to get certified last min, and it was the only place that offered a wide variety of classes that fit my busy schedule.
3.5 hours fly by pretty fast. Most importantly, you walk away comfortably knowing that you can save a life with all the new info you just learned!
The class is fun, you can still socialize while learning! It’s not dead silent listening like one would with a lecture. You get tons of hands on practice with the dummies, and possibly make a new friend in class since you have to pair up with several different people throughout the class.
An added bonus is the granola bars and a nice selection of hot tea they offer. It’s a great pick me up with a long class such as this

Taking classes is always better when you actually want to learn and aren’t just being forced to go. But CPR Seattle managed to turn a 4.5-hour long class into something interesting and fun. My job wanted me to become certified, and so I came here at 6:00 PM. It didn’t seem like that much time had passed before it was 10:30. But the instructor did a great job, and soon enough, I was certified.
Registering online is a breeze, and parking on the street is free along Stone Way N and many of the surrounding neighborhoods. I was the first one in my class to arrive, and I was able to make myself comfortable with the snacks (energy bars and tea) provided. The bathroom was almost impossibly clean, and I was really impressed with what they managed to achieve given the relatively limited space.
My instructor was professional, experienced, and clearly an expert in his field. He knew exactly what he was talking about and made it sound like he wasn’t reading from a script, although I’m sure elements of his lecture were recycled from previous classes. First aid took the first two and a half hours to go over. CPR for adults was covered in the next hour and a half, followed by CPR for infants taking up the last half hour.
Everything went very smoothly, and I’m glad I could be out of there by the scheduled time with a license. Honestly, I’m surprised it could be done in only a few hours. There are probably sites around the area that offer similar services, but this is the only one I need to come back to. It’s only two years before it expires and I have to come back, so I already know where I’m going next time!

Time to reup my BLS certification for nursing school clinicals. Joshua Keich kept the class moving, very responsive to students, excellent feedback, humor and well-​timed breaks. He really helped us to learn all the important points by using a number of useful teaching techniques. Facility just as comfortable and pampering as the first time I took the class there.(Lavender hand soap, rainbow of assorted teas, tasty snacks. Nice.) Free parking right in front of the building. I left feeling confident. Why would anyone want to get a healthcare provider BLS card anywhere else? Once again, thank you CPR Seattle for a job well done.

Do I enjoy taking mandatory CPR classes? No. But, this was the best one I have taken. The instructor was personable, engaging and offered great insight. I took a healthcare provider BLS course, it was packed and we all partnered up. Parking in this neighborhood sucks but it’s Wallingford. I’ll be be back when my certification expires!

Absolutely exceptional! David is the best instructor I’ve ever had in CPR training. Very precise, gives a little bit of background in why we are doing what we’re learning, but stays to the point. He keeps everything hands on and realistic with real life scenarios! I would highly recommend CPR Seattle!

It’s impossible not to learn CPR and have fun in this place. Best class I’ve ever had, real-​world practical tips and experiences. Won’t take it anywhere else, this is my third renewal with them. Don’t sit through another dry lecture/​video CPR class again!

Excellent program. You can either have them come to your place of business for a group session or you can go to them.
I had them come in to teach a class to my office. Farley was our instructor and he did a fantastic job. He was really energetic and was able to engage the class really effectively. We had a rather small group (7 people) which I think lent itself really well to the hands-​on environment as well.
I came into this class not feeling very confident about my first aid/​CPR abilities (even though I had been certified in the past), I left feeling confident about my ability to prolong or even save a life in an emergency situation.
The lesson itself was fun and although the class was 4 hours long (First Aid/​CPR/​AED) it seemed to go by in a flash. I felt that there was plenty of opportunity for asking questions and getting comfortable with taking control of an emergency situation.
Highly recommended training from a great organization.

The teacher Farley was engaging and effective. I’ve participated in at least 10 previous CPR classes in the past and this was absolutely the best one. I usually leave dreading the next renewal, but I wouldn’t mind coming back to this one soon. It left me feeling confident and invigorated about my skills.

This is probably the best CPR class in Seattle. Located in Wallingford, the instructors are certified by the American Heart Association, and issue AHA Heartsaver certified CPR cards. If you need certification for your job, other than at a hospital, such as at an assisted living facility or retirement home, then this is the place to go. My company reimbursed me the $ 69 class fee. The instructor (David) really knows what he is doing, and he won’t let you out of there until you can actively demonstrate what you’ve learned, making it a far more valuable (and satisfying) learning experience than an online CPR class (which my company won’t accept).
3−½ to 4 hours well spent. That’s for the CPR and first aid classes combined. The first aid alone class is about two hours. The certifications are good for two years. Parking is free on Stone Avenue and the nearby streets after 6:00, but if you need to move a car they will take a break for anyone to do that.
Oh, yeah, you’re going to get down on your knees for this one and show the instructor what you learned with your compressions and how to use the AED. It’s not all sit down! Free coffee, tea and snacks, restroom inside.

Top-​notch class. David, the instructor, was enthusiastic and efficient. He genuinely wanted us to learn, and encouraged us to be the ones to step in and help when a medical emergency arises. We practiced, practiced, practiced, with both CPR and AED’s. We rehearsed every step, including assessing the safety of the scene, sending someone for help, etc.
There were excellent videos on first aid scenarios, and some practice. But the emphasis was on CPR and AED’s, which was appropriate, since they are the situations where a life can be saved.
The only improvement I would suggest would be to spend more time on child and infant CPR. I will be working with children, and wish I felt more competent with that.
I would highly recommend CPR Seattle.

Being in the outdoor industry, I have taken several CPR classes throughout the years. Each one tends to be the same — a full day packed with lecture and a small amount of interaction — a sure way to make the day drag on.
CPR Seattle did everything differently and in a highly effective way. This class was both engaging and informative. The instructor was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, answering questions with ease and catering the course to each individual. To be frank, I was impressed. In addition to being engaging, the course was shorter than the standard eight hours — only four!
Along with a clean, easy to find location and painless registration process — it’s easy to say this is a great organization. They’re also dedicated to the cause — committed to making Washington State and King County the leader in CPR/​AED rescue competency. Thank you again for the training, I highly recommend!

I needed a CPR training. I was choosing between Seattle Children’s and CPR Seattle but CPR Seattle offered classes that would fit into my schedule at that time so I came here.
They sent you email confirmations with receipt and class prep. They asked you to come in at least 10 minutes before class. I showed up earlier as recommended. I was immediately greeted and asked to confirm my name and its spelling. Afterwards, I was given a sheet of paper with written instructions.
A couple of people showed up right around the same time. Since we were early, the instructor (his name is Farley? can’t remember) told us to feel free grab some energy bars and tea/​coffee.
Classes started on time. Although a couple of people were late because of traffic so Farley had to stop and check in with those people. Farley even let a teenager to audit the class for free because the teenager’s mom was taking the class. That was very nice of him!
We started the class with a short video introduction. Then we got into practices immediately. We practiced over and over again. We also practiced with AED. I definitely felt more competent after the adult CPR class.
Then Farley let go of those people who only needed adult CPR. I stayed with two other students for the child/​infant CPR. We did not really practice much for the child CPR since it is similar. We spent some time practicing with infant mannequin.
The class lasted about 2.5 hours. There was no test in the end. They gave you a certificate at the end of your class. I wish I had more practice with child CPR. Great class overall!

I admit it was my deepest desire to have this class be short and sweet. Maybe self paced etc. My past experience (20 plus years) with these classes have been long videos followed by awkward demonstration of skills on the CPR dummies.
Not here. I believe this to be the most effective CPR class I’ve ever been in.
The instructor used all of the time while making it useful time spent. It went fast.
Comprehensive to the point interactive video. You worked on the dummies while watching the video with the instructor discussion and question and aswers. I learned new life saving stuff.
You actually practiced almost the entire time. (adequate breaks in between) I think anyone can walk out of this class feeling completely confident to perform CPR and use and AED.
Money and time well spent. I can’t believe I just said that. lol
In the summer or warm months bring a hoodie for the beginning of the class but you’ll be taking it off after about 15 minutes.
