I was excited when this store opened and saw the products they carried. While it is overpriced, when you consider the convenience and location — you get it. The place gets one star for the products. The service is horrible. You have to OUTLOUD ask to be rung up when you are physically standing at the counter in front of the register with the products you are ready to buy and your card out. The staff will ignore you until you say you’re ready. I stood at the counter waiting, ready to be rung up for about 5 minutes while the staff saw me and continued to fool around(the man wearing the beanie working there held to two chickens to his chest area and laughed with the other female staff while she made some joke). I work nearby and thought I would come here frequently. But am now deterred by their staff who don’t really seem to work. I should narrow that statement and this whole review to «the man wearing the beanie».

Lovely ambiance and I enjoyed my hot chocolate, but don’t order the hot dog. It was $ 7.66(price is not visible anywhere) and, in my opinion, not worth it. Any $ 8 hot dog – without condiments or sides, mind you – better be a damn good one and this one was pretty average. The staff was super friendly though.

Slow service. Had to be asked to be rung up. Didn’t give receipt when asked about returning the item. I realized I didn’t need both the spatulas I bough that morning and returned one that afternoon and it was a whole ordeal. Eventually, they figured it out but it took some time. Otherwise, the place is very cute and has a nice selection of items. It is pretty pricey though.

Good little shop, has a nice selection of… everything. They are mostly over priced. I get that High 5 is a funding partner, but $ 25 for a pie is way too much! Many of the beverages are higher than everywhere, almost as much as ordering it at a restaurant. They have sandwiches and quick grab foods, which do seem expensive too. The bulk candy is fun, and not too bad priced. The store is aimed at being convenient, and that comes with a price! The service is usually good, most of the folks that work here are cool and will joke around, one or two are not as fun. If you must have it, stop in, if you can wait for your next grocery store visit, you will certainly save money!

Wow! What a convenient store! I live in the wave and visit here frequently. from previous reviews it may come as no surprise that things are overpriced here. I went in the other day to purchase my «go-to» bottle of Syrah that I had been paying an average ticket price of 14.25. I walk in and find it running for 17.50! Same year, same bottle. Let’s do the math here…(17.50−14.25)/14.25 or…(3.25/14.25)X100 equals a whopping 23 percent price hike on a bottle of wine that has not changed value!!! Naturally I talked to the person running the register and proclaimed my dismay… he adjusted the price to 14.00 even and only charged me sales tax on that. Very nice gentleman I dealt with. So all in all, a very convenient store but please people… remember YOU are the consumer and YOUR vote counts! Don’t pay outrageous prices for things that don’t hold that value!

A little pricey but they pretty much have everything you would want in a convenience/grocery store. They also have Ellenos yogurt… yum!!! They also sell cute gifts, plants, coffee, breakfast items like bagels and pastries as well as gourmet beverages. Really cute little shop.

I love this store, they make it easy to get locally made foods, organic fruits and veggies, easy grab-and-go meals and a glass of wine or a growler of beer. Also, plenty of gift items, an espresso bar, Seattle souvenirs, vintage goodies and a convenient location right by the Amtrak station and the stadiums.

Fun selection of gifts and grocery items, but they seriously need to rethink their sandwich offerings. For $ 9, I expected a bit more than a sandwich I could recreate at home with my eyes closed and with mediocre ingredients. I was really rooting for these guys, but I felt so duped it was laughable! Not going back until they clean up their game.

This place is cool. A bit pricey, but they’ve got a great selection of food and alcohol to go. The coffee is really tasty – they use Fuel beans. Last week their card machine died and we didn’t have cash, but since we work nearby they let us start a tab. Awesome customer service.

Cone & Steiner is a small shop serving espresso, wine, cheeses, pet food, other last-minute necessities and delectable local treats. I feel like Peggy Sue when I enter C & S. If I ever need $ 8 organic sugar stat, this’ll be my go-to. Last night, I picked up Vermont White Cheddar Cheese and red wine … what else do you eat while watching The Oscars? Yep, it’s pricey but that’s what you pay for convenience!

I love this general store! It has beer on tap(absolutely should be a staple in all general stores), has a great wine and cheese selection, and a frankly charming selection of random necessities. It’s definitely a bit pricier than your average general store, and it’s no bartells in terms of having everything you need, but the people there are really nice to talk to and helpful. It’s also open late-ish which is a plus.

Obsessed. This is the most handy, convenient yet tasteful little market I’ve ever seen. So glad they came to PSQ. From snacks and beverages to hammers and nails they have got you covered.

Love this lil store! It’s exactly what our neighborhood needed. Yes it’s on the pricey side but they cary food stuff that is artisan and not your typical mini-mart fare. They have beer on tap too! You can pop down and fill a growler and take it back to your office for happy hour. It’s perfection.

A little yuppie but well laid out. They carry stuff I have not run across before. Love the fact they have beer on tap and you can refill a growler with them. The store labeled food items are worth the price and time savings! When you are looking for something out of the ordinary, check this place out!

I’m so excited Pioneer Square is popping up new restaurants and shops. I didn’t realize Cone & Steiner already had another location in Capital Hill. I’m glad their hours are 7am-10pm. Now I don’t have to walk through Occidental Park for booze. I love the store’s look and layout. I am not a tchotchkes(yes I looked up the spelling) fan but there is a lot beverage retail space. Bring a growler to get it filled with craft beer. Your neighborhood 7⁄11 won’t have that ;)
