Heather is the best! Her studio is great and makes you feel right at home. She will even put on your favorite music while your getting your hair cut.
Her studio is a great addition to the Fremont area and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for great, friendly service!

I love this place! I’ve been going to Heather for about 4 years and always leave excited about my new do. She always knows the best thing to do for my type of hair and gives good advice if I’m thinking of doing something out of the ordinary. The décor is cool and there’s always great music playing.

I’m so happy to have found Heather of Cherry on Top a few years ago! (She has moved & is now in Fremont, overlooking the Lenin statue.)
She is without a doubt the best hair stylist I’ve ever been to. I really consider her more of an Artist, and every time I leave the salon I’m dancing down the stairs. As a matter of fact, she is so good, I almost don’t want to leave a review because I always want to make sure I can get an appointment when I need one! But I’ve found many cool things on Unilocal,so I’m returning the favor.
Her haircuts and especially COLORS are without equal. She creates absolutely the best and most lively reds, burgundies, browns & mahoganies. Recently, she lifted years of very dark color from my hair so I could go natural– and it’s still long and undamaged.
She has also rescued me from unfortunate occasional at-​home attempts. She tames my crazy, cow-​licked hair into a smooth, shining crown on my head. She is great about showing you how to style yours.
I recommend her to everyone and will go to her as long as I am in this city!

I’ve been going to Heather for about two years, and love the new location! She’s rescued me from my own hair more times than I can count, with flexibility on appointment times, last minute updos, and an adorable puppy that I can pet.
At this point I won’t let anyone else work on my hair — she even gave me a lesson on how to do my hair for a formal when I had an out of town event. The free bang trims are super handy, and a great excuse to have gelato downstairs!

Heather is an amazingly talented stylist with such style and class! I have been going to see her for about 5 years now and have always loved what we have done. It’s so nice to have the trust that I can say «I’m in the mood for something different» and she always comes up with something fabulous!!!
Oh and her new space is cooler than ever sitting in her chair with the windows open looking over downtown Fremont is awesome!
