Update: tried the Singaporean tofu curry and it was absolutely delicious. We went in not realizing that the place only served it for lunch before 2pm, but the lady was nice enough to make it for us to takeout anyways!!! Definitely worth the wait. I only wish they served dinner on weekdays or food some other time besides when we are normally at work.

*Disclaimer: I have not had the food – only the bubble tea* I love the nice lady who works there every time I go in, but I’m honestly not too crazy about their bubble tea. This could be just because I’m very picky as I have my own recipes and such, but I find their tapioca pearls to lack chewiness and sweetness – the selling point of bubble tea in my opinion – and the drinks are water-based as opposed to milk-based. I hope I don’t come across as rude or just someone who is ranting – this is just my honest review! I am looking forward to visiting again to try out their foods, which I see have some really positive feedback!

Yum. I must say I have only gone for a bubble tea but they have a lot of options on their menu. It’s a good location and the lady who helped me was very nice. Just an fyi if you spend less than $ 5 you get charged for credit card, so bring cash. I was very happy with my bubble tea and I will definitely be back.

Wish I could give them a good review. The menu seemed appetizing, but the meat on my sandwich was rancid. They refunded me, but kept the tip! Not recommended.

Stopped in on a whim on the way to class. Glad I did! I’m pretty sure this is my new favorite lynch place near SU. Lots of variety in the menu and the friendliest service I’ve had in a while anywhere. Got the Turkey Harvest sandwich with avocado, a bag of chips, and a huge Thai Bubble Tea for under 10 bucks. Pass up the sandwich chain up the street and check this place out.

The staff here is great – super friendly and quick. The food is always served quickly and has been fresh every time. The chicken satay is particularly yummy. Warning-lunchtime is full of high school students… can get loud!

It is rare to find Singaporean fusion cuisine in the US but this place is one of those little gems. The satay is sumptuous and the katsu rice has a delicious tangy component to it. The yogurt smoothie drink goes great with meals. There are also a lot more interesting things on the menu that I have yet to try. This place also has a great vibe and a comfortable family atmosphere. The owners also were really nice and very helpful. Definitely recommend everyone to check this place out!

The service here is pretty terrible. The woman managing the counter rang my order in wrong, charged my card and wanted to redo the whole transaction for a price difference under 20 cents. All the while giving me some major attitude, as though it was my fault she is incompetent. I shrugged it off and took the wrong order, but I definitely won’t be returning when there are plenty of businesses willing to be more accommodating and friendly. It’s called customer service and you need to revisit that concept.

This place feels like home. Great«home-cooked» family style food for lunch, amazing bubble tea, and great ownership. The workers there are very kind. Provides a nice place to sit down and enjoy a chat with friends. Conveniently located across Seattle University’s Xavier Hall so I would always go there for lunch as an undergrad. Highly recommended.

I can’t really give an accurate review because I’ve only gotten the Taro bubble tea here(out of the 5 times I’ve gone). But as an SU student, it’s literally across the street, making it really convenient to satisfy bubble tea withdrawals. Anyways, loved the taro bubble tea, and friends said they loved the lavender too. Really nice people working.

I got bubble tea here about a year ago and it was awesome. I got bubble tea here the other day and it tasted like straight up sugar. Maybe there’s something wrong with my mouth because this is the second review I’ve posted in the past couple of days complaining about overly sweet drinks. Or maybe y’all should hold back on the sugar a little ;)

Chatterbox is a nice quaint little place that serves bubble tea and some food. The owners are definitely very nice and always have their youngins running around. So their bubble tea is decent, it’s just not out of this world. Also, their curry isn’t half bad. Just don’t get it super hot like I did. That burned so much that I couldn’t eat more than a few bites. If I had to choose between here and Zodiac, I’d take the extra minute to walk down to Zodiac.

I’m rating Chatterbox on the bubble tea alone. Since Honey Moon’s sudden disappearance from Uwajimaya’s food court, I’ve been searching for a good bubble tea place. I’ve tried a few other bubble tea places but I’ve found them to be expensive and very icy — clearly a smoothie/frappuccino type of drink and not pure milk tea with tapioca balls inside. I think I’ve finally found my next best bubble tea from Chatterbox on 12th Ave. near Seattle University. It’s a little on the sweet side, but the milk tea is tasty and the tapioca balls are perfect — not mushy, or hard and pasty in the middle, but with just the right chewy consistency.

I eat something at the chatterbox 3+ times per week. It occupies the corner of Seattle Academy, a private high school I go to. Most of the customers at the Chatterbox are either students at the high school or SU across the street. They have an assortment of Bubble Tea and decent espresso. If you want good coffee in the neighborhood, I recommend Stumptown across the street . If I buy more than a soda or snack, it’s generally their Singapore Curry. Their cooking is good, but the meat is terrible quality. Overall the Chatterbox is great for a quick bite, but not for more than lunch.
