I just paid $ 5 for a *short* medici. It was alright but $ 5??? On another note, the baristas were friendly and the ambience was super chill and perfect for working.

This is one of the best coffee shops in the Seattle area. By far some of the friendliest baristas, amazing coffee, atmosphere, and more. You can read more about Caffe Fiore and my review here:

What a friendly crew they have here! Stopped in for some toasties: picked up a couple americano’s and had their GINGERMOLASSES cookie. Both were completely satisfying. We came in on a Sunday, and the joint was pretty packed, I wondered where they got their pastries because they’re delicious. Other than that, great ambience, good flow of the in and out drinks, and right next to the market :) Win Win :)

One of my favorite coffee places and so happy they have a West Seattle location. Great coffee, service and atmosphere. I highly recommend Fioré

I am not a big fan of coffee. Their vanilla latte was very bitter and the coffee art wasn’t the best. Though I do realize coffee art is hard. On the brighter side of things, they have a nice coffee shop environment. It’s nice and quiet and they have fast wifi so I’m rating it a 3. Later on I went back again and tried their raspberry Italian soda. It was very good. I would come back for them but not for the coffee.

Disclaimer: I am not a coffee snob. Also, I am predominately a mocha or latte drinker. Just sayin’ as this may influence your opinion of my opinion :) This is one of my fav coffee shops in Seattle. They are consistently good which is an accomplishment that many places have yet to master. Never that burnt espresso flavor! My husband and I currently go at least once a week, but would probably go more often if they were open a bit later. Our Sunday ritual is to hit the market and immediately go have a mocha and seville before going through the rest of our day. We have never had any of their snacks, but I do know that they serve some things from various local bakeries and vendors which seems to be pretty popular. The place has free wi-fi and is super chill. People are laid back and quick to share space at the longer tables which is awesome. I love hanging out in this spot and encourage you to stop by if you find yourself in the area. TLDR version: GO! At least stop by for a seville!

I loved their cozy shop. The coffee is great and I particularly liked their forest cookie. They also have free wifi so great place to work as well. Parking is limited so we had to park 2 blocks away. I just wish they have more variety in their menu

First time here! I love the atmosphere and décor. They have great music playing and it’s not too loud or distracting. The barista was friendly and fast. I had an Apple Flipside which was yummy, but a little pricey at $ 5.50 for a small handheld pie. Iced vanilla latte was perfect on a warm day like today! Overall, I really like this place! My only issue is the prices are a bit high, but you can justify it by sitting and enjoying the nice atmosphere and study space. Plus there’s free wifi so you can’t go wrong!

Good cup of joe! I had a medium latte(bit over $ 4) and it was really tasty. Nice thick foam on top with the signature flower looking thing that only the good coffee shops know how to do. Sticklers about dogs being service dogs though. The barrista asked me to show Bowies credentials.

Six months ago I first found fiorè, as I began working down the block, and the love affair began. I love my coffee as if I were Colombian, I had my first cup at seven years old and I’ve never declined a coffee since. With that said I am a bit of a coffee snob and absolutely deplore places like Starbucks with their sugary drinks that make you spend about nine dollars for 16 oz of milk and syrup. When it comes to coffee fiorè does it so right it brought tears to my face when I first sipped my americano all those months ago. I’ve been hooked ever since and find myself here at least six times a week. Their espresso is robust and hits all the right notes with the wake up I need. All the baristas are absolutely delightful and professional no matter how busy they are. I would recommend this place to everyone who loves real coffee that is organic and so affordable! All in all I love this caffè.

Grrrrr… Got kicked out of here… Was just hanging out, throwing wags left n’ right, sniffing some pants, no big deal… Health Department, wah wah wah, etc. Cry me a river, your hippy barista is more likely to drop a dred dingleberry into a coffee than I am to poop in it.

Caffe Fiore… Damn, I like you. I like you a’latte! See what I did there? Fiore has a few locations around Seattle, and the Ballard location is the one I frequent most often. Fiore does strive to have as much of an organic, fair trade menu as possible, and 9 times out of ten, the espresso based drinks have proven themselves to be smooth and creamy. The other one out of ten time is when I order a french press and stay awhile. There is a seemingly greater ratio of larger shared tables at this location, which would work better if you have groups of 3 – 5 and want a place in which to meet. Employees have always been courteous, and even on a busy weekend morning, it’s never taken me more than five minutes to gather my drink and pay once I situate myself in line. This particular location does not have as ample parking as their Golden Gardens/West Seattle locations, but its not impossible to find if you don’t mind walking a block or two.

How I heard of this place: While I have seen the café in Ballard and had visited the Queen Anne location in the past, I first enjoyed the place that is Fiore when Ashley recommended it… and frequented it. Type of cuisine: A café with espresso beverages, local pastries from Macrina and Mighty-O, Theo chocolates, as well as artisan breads and bagels with toppings. Ambiance: Walking into the large establishment, patrons are greeted by the permeating fragrance of freshly brewed coffee and roasted espresso beans. Tall ceilings, equipped with wrought iron chandeliers and decorative glass-covered lights hanging down to brighten the tables. Hardwood floors and light colored wooden tables, accompanied by black chairs, complement the chocolate brown walls and ceiling. Windows line the exposed brick walls along the length of the space, as patrons make their way back towards the restrooms and child’s play area. Outside seating is available for drier, warmer days on the small back patio. Music plays at a comfortable volume in the background to allow for conversations in your party of ten, or for quiet time reading, studying or working from your third home. «We are grateful to have a business that can create a hub for the neighborhoods we operate in. Over time, each hub has created its own community and given our customers that „third place“ that can make us feel more connected to our city and our neighbors. We encourage community interaction by providing community tables at all of our locations. We also have a small ‘kid corner’ at each location, helping parents have a moment to themselves while the kids play. Its our hope that Caffe Fiore becomes that warm and inviting environment that entices you to linger, while our skilled and friendly baristas keep you coming back for more.» What I ordered: Ten of us sat around the largest, round table toward the back of the establishment, just beyond the bar and order counter, and each one of us enjoyed a Fiore treat with our guest of honor. I ordered a single eight-ounce Aztec mocha with non-fat milk(all shots pulled are served ristretto unless otherwise specified). Our guest of honor selected a double eight-ounce Aztec mocha with soy milk, accompanied by toasted rosemary bread and butter. Continuing around the circle, we had one order for an eight-ounce hot chocolate, a 12-ounce caramel-vanilla latte with extra caramel and extra foam, two 12-ounce non-fat lattes with orange zest accompanied by one croissant and one pain au chocolat, one 16-ounce jasmine tea and a sun-dried tomato bagel with cream cheese, one eight-ounce cappuccino with a side of apricot-walnut bread and butter, a 12-ounce vanilla rice milk latte with cream cheese and a cinnamon raisin bagel. What I loved: I had only sampled my beverage, which had strong espresso flavor, light spice and perfectly glossy, creamy foam. I sampled the croissant, apricot-walnut bread and rosemary bread and enjoyed the three thoroughly. If I had to choose a favorite, I am surprised at myself to say that the apricot-walnut takes the cake. Flavorful, earthy, comfort. Why I loved it: The atmosphere, the music, the friendly baristas and the treats from which to choose. Everything at Fiore is a win. Cost: Average($ 3-$ 5 per espresso beverage)

I was feeling pretty basic today because I was craving a PSL. To you non-basics, that means that I was dreaming of the official autumn-welcoming caffeinated drink, the Pumpkin Spice Latte. I got a short(smallest size they had) and it turned out to be a little over 4 bucks. Okay, maybe it’s a little pricey due to the extra pumpkiny ingredients and spices, in which I would be okay with… NOPE! That tiny drink had no essence of pumpkin spice at all. I even wondered if I took someone else’s order by accident, but I knew that wasn’t possible because the barista placed that drink right in front of me while I was paying for it. I would have had them remake it, but I was in a hurry. So basically, I over payed for a normal, short size latte. At least it had a cute leaf on it, which of course, is a MUST on all good lattes. *sigh* I guess this is what I get for feeling like a basic beeze today. Not coming back.

Great coffee, service, and location. It certainly feels inviting– with its dark wood floors, big wooden tables and local art featured on its walls. It’s always nice to come across a coffee shop that adds a little bit more to its menu than most places. Barista was awesome for letting us stay slightly past closing time. Stop by if you’re in Ballard. They have patio seating out the back!

Delicious Americano’s and baked goods, nice quiet coffee shop with a calm atmosphere. Free wifi and plenty of sweetner /dairy + non dairy options. Staff were friendly and the brioche muffin was amazing.

3.5 Stars Pros: interior is beautiful. Dark wood table and chairs, large amber fixtures, brick walls accented with brick red walls. The words«Organic» splattered throughout the space. Kind, friendly baristas, cool outdoor seating. Nice music. Cons: Their coffee and Chai offer no satisfaction for my palette. Their drinks just hit one note. Conclusion: I like coming here for the ambiance not the beverages. 4 stars because I find myself coming back because the place is so comfortable and the baristas are so nice.

Nice classic, mid 20th century(I think.) feel interior. Located at the side of one of the main roads in ballard, convenient to get to by foot but considering how parking spaces are always occupied, you might have to do some roundabouts to park. Dark environment with interesting glass bulbs emitting orange lights all around the shop. Plenty seats inside and couple outside for those wanting some more vitamin D’s, but no sofa for boney butted people, only wood. Air conditioned to cool, but the seat close to the door was freezing with just shirt on. The time I came here only one barista was working, so I was a little concerned how he can handle about 25 people in the shop; he did flawlessly. Lines were moving quite fast since he knows the little tricks at behind the counter to receive order and make the drinks. Quite friendly and okay service, but you do not expect more from a café run by one man busy with orders. So this place is supposed to be organic? I did not even realise until I came across the place on the road. I must say, I could not really tell if the coffee was organic although, yes, I did try organic coffee before straight from the farm. Even then I could not quite tell. The drip was pretty dark, but not so much bitter, possibly because it had low-medium body. Aroma’s great and distinct, more chocolatey than nutty. Very smooth with low acidity. I got a refill for my drip, which I never do at any other place. That should say something. Overall, great place to relax, enjoy cup of drip with some biscotti(please, try the biscotti). Definitely worth a try if you are looking for local and organic café to become a regular in. Flavor profile: smokey dark chocolatey charred caustic bitter neutral tart
