The only two things I found wrong with this restaurant is the parking and price. The parking sucks! A place this big you would figure that they would have ample amount of parking but they have none so I paid $ 9.25 across the street for 2 hour parking. The service was good was good overall, however a plate of their spicy rigatoni was $ 39.95, which someone could have been made at home easily for cheaper.

This was my first visit to Buca di Beppo. We went here after the SPU graduation, with a party of 11. The food and service was great. I wish they had a restaurant in Tacoma.

We literally just left this place and it was a complete disappointment. We ordered the Fettuccini Alfredo and the Prosciutto stuffed chicken. The Alfredo noodles themselves were not only undercooked, but they barely had any Alfredo sauce. As for the prosciutto stuffed chicken, completely burned on the bottom. It also didn’t even come until about 30 mins after were served the fettuccine Alfredo. What a waste!

Came here my first afternoon in Seattle. My friend and I shared the Frutti Di Mare. All the seafood was cooked well and tasted fresh. The sauce had a nice slow-cooked taste to it and was actually pretty light. The lighting in the restaurant was a bit dark for my taste though.

Just ordered from BiteSquad because I was craving Italian and the last time I had Buca Di Peppo it was pretty amazing. However that was 10 years ago. There is a HUGE difference in what was pictured on their menu and what I just received. For the price I would expect a whole lot more than what I got. I ordered the Cheese Manicotti for $ 11.50 and the Cannoli for $ 5.00. That is a 16.00 lunch(not including tax, delivery and tip) and I ended up spending 25.00 for lunch which arrived on time(within 30 minutes, thanks bite squad!) but was not only small and burnt on top, but cold like it had only been thrown under the broiler for a few min. The cheese inside had not been melted and was ice cold. Then there were the cannoli, pictured they look not only like large cannoli but there are 3 of them for 5.00. I received 2 mini cannoli that isn’t even equal to one large one. They shouldn’t be that expensive for what you get. I will post pics below to show the difference between what I thought I ordered(what they pictured) and what I received. I am very disappointed in the cost vs. the portion sizes. This whole meal shouldn’t have even cost $ 10.00, even in Seattle.

Not a fan at all: First of all, the greeter couldn’t stress enough the fact that a reservation was normally needed to dine in. We truly appreciate him informing us that within the next minute, the wait time would be 45 mins, as he walked us to our table. When we we’re seated, the waiter started off great, he explain that menu prices small is for 2 – 3 people and large feeds 5 – 6 people. So we ordered our drinks, bread, and meal together. Everything was well more than enough to eat, except our Chicken Cabonara was dry, or shall we say not enough sauce for us. Pasta was not only dry but crunchy and tasted like wheat pasta. We ask the manager for more Alfredo sauce, then the waiter. We were done with the portion servings we we’re going to eat before sauce arrived. After receiving sauce and conversating a little longer, we realized the waiter had never returned so we asked another waiter passing by to retrieve him for us. Within minutes he arrived, we paid, and left with no expectations of ever returning!

I have a hard time knowing how to rate this place. On one hand, I’ve had the best dining experience of my life there, and on the other, its has middle of the road everything else(food, service, and etc.). The best dining experience involved a lot of friends one night going out for fun, the most entertaining server I’ve ever seen, a birthday cake, and a Brian Mcknight song. The food is a mass appealing version of Italian food that is really so-so through and through. I don’t go to B.D.B. for the food, but it accommodates large crowds, my parents, its consistent, and you can split a check any which way. There is a place in the restaurant world for these establishments. Its super packed on the weekends and has a propensity of people from rural areas loving it, old people loving it, and high school dance go-ers packing the place out in late spring. Take it or leave it, their is a time to Buca.

So kudos to the guys for accommodating us on a short notice with a large party. This is the end of the positive things. If you are Italian you religiously avoid American Italian food. However, if you really must, you kind of expect it to be different than the original stuff. I can cope with that. I promise, I can. But I was not prepared to the awfulness of the enormous dishes of Buca di Beppo. They are a representation of all that is wrong with American reinterpretation of Italian food. Italian food is simple. Not this mess of sauces and flavors. And, for God’s sake, how can possibly«penne alla vodka» be spicy? Polpette could almost be saved(but oh my God, cheese?!). Chicken Parmesan was edible. The fried calamari and mozzarella were best forgotten. Even better thrown away. Spritz was in the wrong proportions and surely not made with Aperol but with Campari. The caprese was tasteless, mozzarella really should have another kick. Pasta was definitely overcooked. Also, who in his right mind decides to make pasta ai frutti di mare with a hot spicy sauce?! The baked ziti were shameful, absolutely shameful. Pizza is very very very American and has nothing to do with the Italian version. If the review looks like a mess of dishes tossed together, that’s because this is what the dinner felt like. Italians eat primo and Secondo, so you first have pasta and then meats. This was pure chaos.

I have always loved Buca but the new location has so much more to offer! With a new upstairs area there is room For events and private parties with a lovely view! Staff is spot on and friendly and of course, the food is mouth watering!

Let’s start off by saying the past two times that my husband and I have gone here has been regrettable! We go here for our anniversary, birthdays, basically any special occasion because it’s «our spot». We had reservations for Valentines night at 9:30pm. We did however get there about 15 minutes early and were sat immediately. Once we got to the table the host just sat us and walked away, no specials, no small talk, no «so-and-so» will be your waiter. We literally sat there for 15 minutes while servers, bussers, the host that sat us AND management walked by and ignored us! I was beyond irritated so I seen the manager sipping on a can of soda In the bar, so I walked over and told him what was going in. He kind of just laughed and said he’ll send someone over. As I was walking back to my table I over heard 2 servers and 2 host laughing saying«she’s complaining!!» I went to my table with my husband and the same lady server from the LAST bad experience came over and rudely said she wasn’t our server but what did we want to Drink? We were going to by a bottle of wine but decided we weren’t going to waste money on a place that didn’t appreciate their guests. We already knew what we wanted for dinner so we let her know. On Valentine’s they emailed me about 3 times advertising this Heart Lasagna dinner for two so we decided on that. THEYWERECOMPLETELYOUT! False advertisement. So we quickly decided something else and ordered mozzarella bread as an appetizer, get this. THEYWEREOUTOFBREADASWELL! So then our actual server came and he was the one awkwardly staring at us when we sat, which means he knew we were there and ignored us the whole time. Anyways, we get out food, never checked on us, never offered another glass of wine until we flagged him down. I then had a 20% off coupon which he denied, and said it couldn’t be used on my items(a LARGE chicken parmasean, small baked ziti, an order of spaghettini and marinara AND an order of canollis for desert, and 3 glasses of wine) he was so rude about it I asked to speak to the manager. He went over and we waited another 15 minutes for NOMANAGER to come talk to us about our experience, how unprofessional!!! He came back with our $ 120+ check and said they bought our canollis. I wasn’t trying to get a discount, I wanted to speak to the manager to let them know about our horrible Valentine day massacre of a dinner!!! –horrible service –false advertising –unprofessional host –extremely poor MANAGEMENT –ruined our Outlook for your location –out of lasagna AND bread what kind Italian restaurant are you? Sincerely, Lost customer

It has been a tradition to go here for Valentines day. We decided last minute to go out for dinner and luckily Buca Di Beppo still had avaliability. I went with a group of 4 and we ordered way more food than we can finish. FYI It has moved location, it’s 1 minute away from their old location. My only complaint is I wish they seated us by the window instead of the corner so we are able to get the view of the lake and have a more romantic atmosphere. –Don’t listen to the waiter/waitress on how much food to order, they suggest you to order alot more food than can possibly fit in your stomach. * Group of 2⁄3 people– 1 small pasta/entrée dish and an appetizer or small salad will be PLENTY *Group of 4 people– 2 small pasta/entrée dishes or sub a pasta dish for a pizza ***MUSTORDER –Supreme pizza– one of the best pizzas we ever had. The crust was nice and thin, cheese was melted to perfection, they did not skimp on the toppings of sausage, peppers, onions, and pepperoni –Spicy Chicken Riggatoni– pasta was cooked al dente and the sauce was cooked perfectly, not too spicy –Shrimp Cabonara– this is my favorite pasta here. We substituted the chicken for shrimp and it was an extra $ 6. Eh not that much shrimp was in the pasta, I wouldn’t sub it next time –Meatballs– these meatballs are 1 ½ pound each. They were seasoned well and the marinara sauce was delicious. It can be expensive here since a small is enough for 2⁄3 people its around $ 25 – 30. Just order wisely and pricing isn’t too bad at all.

While I’m personally a very adventurous eater, my group at work has a large number of picky eaters. When looking for a catering option to make everyone happy, I contemplate just ordering somewhere different for every single person. ENTERTHECATERINGSERVICEFROMBUCADIBEPPO. Of all the places we’ve tried, their promptness, ease of ordering and ability to accommodate our nitpicky notes have really impressed me. They came to my work to present to those of us who frequently host events, meetings, etc. I don’t mean someone just handed out brochures. I mean they brought us a multiple course meal and walked us through all the options. To be honest, I didn’t previously hold this place in the highest regard. I used to when I was younger but as newer, hipper restaurants started springing up all around the city, I came to forget it. After that presentation, however, I actually started feeling differently about them. They took most of the work out of guessing what you can do with your budget. When planning multiple holiday events, an option like that is very much appreciated. We used them for a team get-together this past holiday season and we were so blown away by how easy it was from ordering to receiving the orders to being able to lay everything out. The attendees were also really happy with the food. I personally liked the salad option that they had. While I do love more traditional Italian food, the more Americanized food they have here hit the spot as far as Italian American fare went. They even gave us a free tray of food just for kicks! Overall, beyond satisfied with their catering service. I’m sure we’ll use them again in the future.

They charged my husband twice for a take out meal that was worth $ 165.79. I keep contacting them to reverse the charges but it has been over 7 weeks and the charge is still there. Horrible experience. They keep giving me the go around saying the charge will be off my statement in 2 weeks. I don’t understand why it would take so long for the charge to be reversed. 7 weeks is way past their 2 week promise. I would NOT order from them again. If you plan on eating here, bring cash so they can’t double charge you.

Every New Years Eve the Seattle PDDUI Squad meet for diner at Buca di Beppo restaurant before hitting the street in search of impaired drivers. We always eat there because the food is fantastic. In addition, the staff and patrons are simply wonderful. A special shoutout to the head chef, Brad, and our charming waitress, Molly. This year we had the table in the kitchen where patrons had to walk by us to get to their table. Well, a photo op was eventually presented with these three lovely young ladies. We will be back Saturday, December 31, 2016, at 5:00PM. Have a great year!

I really don’t know why this place only has 3 stars! I love this place! It’s great for a huge group but also just fun for a family of 4. I think the prices are reasonable for how big the portions are. It’s family style so you order a bunch and share everything. If you’re ordering one pasta dish for yourself, of course you’re going to think it’s pricey because it is meant for more than one person! I love their pizzas, especially their margherita pizza, I mean I think it’s pretty authentic. I’m not Italian but the bread is flat, sauce is good, good mozzerella, and pieces of basic. Can’t really go wrong with that. Love their pasta dishes of course. Their meat dishes are also surprisingly really good. I’ve had their pork and it has like blueberries in it but it’s soooo good. Their chicken parmigiana is never a disppointment. Now, if you are a tiramisu person, you MUST try theirs. It’s absolutely HUGE. and it’s DELICIOUS. it comes out in this big ass bowl but omg it melts in your mouth… I always look forward to going here!

I sat here with a friend during the longest World Series baseball game. Wow! It was interesting. I have not been here(this specific location) for 10 years. Last time it was a birthday of a very good friend before we said goodbye post-graduation. Lots of memory. Food is always consistent and good. We like it for the amount of food.

Tried: Calamari: ok. Has a slight kick to it. Stuffed mushrooms: very cheesy and couldn’t taste much else. Apple Gorgonzola salad: bland Caprese: it was good but then how can you mess this up? Chicken Marsala: delicious sauce and tender chicken. Tiramisu: ok. Very dense. Prefer light fluffy ones. Service: excellent Not going out of my way to return. Will stick to Maggiano’s and Olive Garden.

Dishes are large– could be split amongst 2 – 3 people at least. I managed to only get the antipasto salad and tiramisu. The service was fantastic, what food I did have delish. I would come here in larger groups. They serve lunch now too, I guess it’s a fairly new thing.

I love loveee this place! Every time my husband and I go here, we always leave with very full stomachs and happy with the customer service. This has to be one of my most favorite Italian restaurants in Seattle. I love the old school decoration and atmosphere. Most of the time they take you through the kitchen(where you can see the chefs cooking but they always look up and greet you as you walk by) while walking to your table. There are actually 1 or 2 tables in the kitchen that I’m sure if you request, they can sit you there(it would be a fun experience to watch how your food is being prepared before it reaches your table, right?) I will give the food a 5 stars. Excellent taste, very rich in flavors!!! We also love their bread, and instead of serving it with butter like most places, their bread is serve with olive oil & vinegar. Customer service also deserves a 5 star!

I’ve been wanting to give this place a shot but never had the reason to go to a family style restaurant. I went to celebrate a special day but my parents wanted to take me out and I know they prefer quantity and better deals so I couldn’t take them to some fancy minimalist joint where they couldn’t get full off their butts, so that’s why I picked this place. Fairly good quality foods, huge portions, and pretty good deal considering how much carbs and dairy you get! Anyway, the inside was super Italian. They had the pictures plastered everywhere forever as if you were in an Italian family home, the red brick, cozy seating. Even the Italian music in the background from jazz to opera. So many things to look at on the walls and shelves, I mean… if you don’t feel like talking to your family or date lmao. All the pictures almost reminded me of red robins(Ew), but my mom was totally feelin the atmosphere. she reeeeaaaaaally liked the Pope table, too(shout out to fellow Catholics I guess). Service was nothing special. Dude was nice, but he also kind of seemed like he didn’t like serving, or he didn’t wanna be there? We were literally the only ones there so idk maybe he wanted to close up early and was annoyed. But at the same time he was still nice and helpful? Idk he reminded me of a high school girl«frienemy» like you just never know. I had the sangria and it was nothing special. I didn’t care much for it. Same with my moms margarita. Maybe the wine is better? The calamari smelled better than it tasted. I mean it was good, but it was nothing super duper special. Good spice kick, flimsy breading. Would I pay $ 30 for it? Nah. We got the shrimp florentine pasta and I have to give them props for cooking the shrimp well. Usually I am picky about cooked shrimp but the shrimp was perfect! I prefer my pasta a little more al dente but it was so good that I didn’t even notice. This pasta is lighter than the other sauce heavy ones. It wasn’t smothered in chunky ass heavy meat sauce, so it was a good pair with our chunky ass pizza. We got the suprimo Italiano pizza and oh my god one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. I may have liked it better than the pasta. Thin crispy tasty crust, gooey melty TMNT-esque cheese, big chunks of sausage, salty pepperoni, really good meat sauce. They use so much cheese it slid off a few times but I ain’t complaining. Who complains about melted cheese? My favorite part of this whole meal was the pizza. I’m actually going to another local joint for their pizza this Thursday so… We’ll see how that ranks up(im coming for YOU, Airways!). All in all, we had a good experience. It wouldn’t be my first pick on any given day, but I would definitely come back in the future. Maybe they’ll get more genuinely kind servers, improve their drinks? Loved the food and ambiance. Mostly, I’m glad my parents enjoyed it; truly a family place.
