Very veg friendly! Ordered the black bean and it was perfectly crispy on the outside and felt really substantial contrary to most veg burgers.(Which taste very limp and frozen) I also appreciated that when I ordered with chili, the counter person made sure I knew it was. yknow, chili, not veg friendly. My brain was lamely thinking chili POWDER. Mushrooms were yummy but I would’ve appreciated a little more. But that’s a personal preference and they were so accommodating I’m sure if I asked for extra they’d comply. Extra charge would be worth it. Really nice people will mean I’ll be back!

Very good burgers. Flavor of the burgers are nice. Fries are delicious! Meat is a little on the dry side but very tasty!

Took a business colleague to Blue Moon this week and it was great. Really good value for money. The food«tastes» great which is the sign of a really good burger. Will definitely be back.

Five Star Service, Four Star Burger. I came in today and had one of the best customer service experiences I have had. The young woman who helped me was first of all very knowledgeable about the menu and helpful with finding the right combinations. Not only that, but she asked about my preferences and helped me make a great order without being pushy or overselling. Also, she made suggestions for next time that were authentic to what I commented on liking. Additionally, she checked in on my friend and I, which is not what I would expect at this type of restaurant, but it was great because she ended up bringing us a delicious dipping sauce(spicy mayo sort of sauce). The burger itself(regular burger, bleu cheese, sauteed onions and mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, blue moon sauce) was also pretty good! The patty could have been a little bigger, and the onion mushroom combo could have been a bit more flavorful, but overall tasty. Great first experience!

Really mediocre burger, overpriced. Maybe it’s the type of burger I’m ordering but every time, the bread is too chewy and everything just ends up falling apart. I’m more than willing to excuse a mess if the food is good but I ended up having to give up half way(even with a knife and fork), the mess was too much and the burger wasn’t even that great to start off with. Quality of the bread shouldn’t be overlooked. Maybe I’ll try a different bun next time but I’ve never been impressed by blue moon the handful of times I’ve been there.

My husband and I ordered from here many times and have usually had ok experience but today was probably the worst. We have always order d via poastmates and it seems that your options on their website are incorrect everything in the«would you like to remove anything» section is mixed up if you check anything in there they will put that on and nothing else so if you pick no mayo they will put mayo on your burger and take everything else off. Our burgers today we’re basically bread. I could have gotten a larger beef patty from McDonald’s and that’s sad. I don’t think we will be ordering from here again. On the upside the fries were good

Burgers aren’t bad, but not amazing either. The shakes aren’t bad, but not amazing The fries… I think you see where I’m going with this review. It is a ridiculous wait time to order at noon mon-fri. I suggest ordering online or trying to call in at least 30 min before you will pick up. You might get lucky and actually reach someone who has an ounce of customer service skill, but probably not. Also, don’t be fooled about their hours of operation… Today, Sunday February 28, 2016 at 12:30pm they were closed. No sign, no reason. Just not open. It is rare that I work on Sunday’s, but when I do I like to grab something warm and hardy for the wet cold day. So here I sit at Veggies, soaking wet, cold and eating veggies in meat form. Blue Moon Burgers… You disappoint me!

Blue moon burger promises to be so much more but it never quite lives up to your expectations. I love a good burger with blue cheese but the blue cheese bayou burger at Blue Moon doesn’t have great blue cheese flavor and the parties are pretty bland. They also don’t cook your burgers to your preferred temperature. The garlic parmesan fries literally had chopped garlic on the fries and my breath was deadly heading back to the office.

Hardly your average burger joint full of greasy beef patties and shakes, at Blue Moon, you can swap out your protein for salmon, black bean and even falafel patties. I could eat a double patty of the black bean option, it’s that good. Get your craft buns on with choice of things like brioche or ciabatta, and choose your add-ins from things like guac, pineapple, and even peanut butter(weird). What also sets this cafeteria-order-style place apart is the starch selection: sweet potato fries, curly fries, curry fries, garlic, and tator tots – fried to perfection. This particular location(like any location surrounded by the campuses of office space) gets insanely busy during the lunch hour. Even if you try to get there early, there’s probably going to be a line, so plan ahead. Worth the wait.

Have they ever washed their vegetable?! They are a piece of mud in the vegetable! Inside the burger! Unbelievable, I I’ll never trust this restaurant anymore.

A OK is a great description. Their back end does not have their sh$t together. a burger/fries order simply can not take 20 – 30 mins each time to fulfill.(been 3 times total). Taste is decent but again nothing extraordinary. Prices are average and not particularly low. so overall… average.

I happened to be in the area and craving a burger, so I went in. I ordered the original, AKA the cheapest one on the menu. I stood at the cash register for at least five minutes before any of the staff even glanced my way. I was the only one at the counter. I requested no red onions. A basic burger and a diet Coke set me back $ 9.61. When I got my burger it had so much sauce that the buns disintegrated and my hands were covered in slop; maybe it was supposed to compensate for the dry burger. It was too bad, because the Brioche bun was otherwise very tasty, the best part of the burger. Oh, and there were red onions on my burger too, which I didn’t see till later because of the ridiculous amount of sauce. I have a weird food sensitivity to them so I had a bit of a stomach ache for a while after that. The server was nice and had a sweet smile. I think they were dealing with some supply issues and might have been a little stressed. Oh, and watch out for the hole in the floor by the pop machine.

Food is pretty good. Burgers take forever… my order took over 50 minutes and I had two fries and two burgers… never again… nobody even felt bad or apologized for the wait. Edit: So don’t go to Blue Moon during lunch because Charlie there said that they get a lot of orders online and through their app. Doesn’t sound like a customer problem, you guys just need to figure it out or if you can’t, consider putting up a sign letting people know that it will take a while – people have to go back to work.

It makes me sad to have to write this review but I cannot condone the way this place is run any longer. I stepped out to grab a «quick» lunch with my hubby today as we both work at SLU. It’s kind of a quiet day and later in the lunch hour so we thought we’d stop in at Blue Moon. The line wasn’t out the door and so we thought it wouldn’t be bad. For reference, the line ‘ended’ at the top of the stairs. We finally got to the front of the line and placed our order(two burgers, fries & tots). Nothing exciting; nothing too out of the ordinary. At first it was fine just chatting and killing time while we waited for our food. But as time went on, I started to notice that we weren’t getting our food. And as more time went on, I realized it had been 30 mins. Now if you have ever eaten here, you know that you don’t get your food in 10 mins. Not unless it’s absolutely dead. So I didn’t expect to get my order turned around so quickly. BUT. What is causing me to now ban this place from my lunch plans is what happened next. 45 mins had gone by. 45MINUTES people. WAY too long of a wait especially when there are literally 3 food trucks outside their door that were slinging food faster than they were and with longer lines. I asked the girl working the food window if she knew when our order was up. She said to me «2 minutes» and then rudely said to me(without turning around) — «We have a LONG line. This rush is insane.» First off, you do not have any right to yell at me(a paying customer) when I’m the one who keeps you in business. In no way shape or form was me asking when my order was up because it had been 45 minutes rude. It was a simple question. Then to mix things up even more, she yelled to the kitchen staff(loudly and in plain hearing of all the customers) how SHE appreciated all that they do and that they’re such good workers and that the people out«HERE» are so mean and that she wishes she could tip them $ 20 an hour every day but she can’t. So «2 minutes» goes by and of course. no food. I am livid at this point and just wanted my money back but the hubby said he was really hungry and we had wasted almost an hour standing in one place to wait for food. So the order came 10 minutes later and naturally. somehow was cold when I sat down to eat it. After all this experience, never once did we get an apology for how behind they were or that they recognized that they were dropping the ball. So here’s my answer. I will NOT return to ANY of your locations even though you’re both at my workplace ‘and’ my neighborhood. I know that writing ONE review of a place isn’t going to hurt their business but I will say this. I rarely give anyone a true one star review and this place is totally deserving of it. Rude service — check Rude comments — check Cold food despite waiting over 45 mins — check and check Come at your own risk but judging on the other reviews on here; I am not the only one who has fallen out of love with this place. Pick up your game Blue Moon, you’re not the only game in town and you’re by far the worst.

Slow, overcooked, slow, and inaccurate. I think today was the last straw. Not only did the order take well over an hour, when they finally gave it to me and I got it back to my office, it turned out to the wrong burger and was missing the fries. So I spent $ 14.53 and more than an hour of my time to get… nothing! Absolutely nothing! They have a prime location but sadly the experience keeps getting worse and worse every time I visit. Doubtful that I’ll ever be back again.

Used to frequent this place, maybe four years ago(2011), when I worked next door. The burgers were just superb. Now, unfortunately, management must have changed. I came at 1pm with no line. Still waiting 47(!) minutes later for a burger and fries(over ten bucks). Internet ordering notwithstanding, there is no excuse. During that time, two people waiting canceled their orders, having run out of time to wait for food. You have to look at the line of order receipts on the rack behind the register to really see the backlog. Post-eating update: quality has dropped; the patties are smaller than I remember them, the fries pre-fabricated. How the mighty have fallen. I’m done with this place. A tragedy.

Grabbed lunch to-go from here yesterday. Because we went at 2:30pm, the place was empty and service very quick. The staff was friendly. I got«The Blue Shroom». It was a little too rich and greasy but tasted pretty good. A little spicy kick from some jalapeños or some acidity to cut though the richness would have been nice. Also I wish the bacon was crispy. It tasted good but completely lacked texture and was soggy and the fat wasn’t completely rendered. This and the sauce made the bun pretty soggy too and hence messy to eat. My wife got«The Beecher Feature» with a black bean patty. The burger itself tasted quite good but the patty was very dry and needed ketchup to chew it down. The curried potato fries were tasty but not crisp. Overall I would say the food ranks a little better than fast food chains but nowhere near the gourmet burgers. The prices however are pretty high for fast food. Might go back here sometime when I’m craving a super rich guilty burger but I don’t think I would frequent the place. p. s. They have deals on Amazon Local.

Blue moon burger. I really wanted to love this place. It’s close by work and it offers 50% off burgers on wednesday nights when ordered with a side or drink. Burger wise, it was average. Nothing to write home about, except — The patty was pretty pink. I like medium rare burgers if done right, juicy and tender, a mouthful of flavor — but this experience appeared to be a shamefully thin frozen patty that just wasn’t cooked all the way through. Bland and lacking seasoning, pink and lukewarm in the middle My friend got the tater tots and the tots, while crispy indeed, were not even hot. i’m not sure if it was due to the timing of the plating or if they sat out for quite some time before serving. I ended up getting the paleo burger with an order of chicken wings. While the chicken wings was not a side /drink, they offered me the discount anyway which was nice. The chicken wings were okay. Large portion. I was expecting 7 – 9 wings/legs but easily ended up getting 15 – 16 pieces. For these two plates with half off — ended up being around $ 16 While I like the décor, the service was interesting. 1 cashier, 1 helping to prep drinks and serve tables. Another runner, who I’m not sure did what. And a line out the door. The flow of orders and food service was slow and a bit shocking given the amount of FOH staff on hand. We also noticed clearly written on posterboard SOPs near the back of the cashier displaying the necessary steps to open/close the restaurant as well as for operation. Not sure if the staff was still in training but overall failed to meet expectations. Overall, it was meh.

I hope I don’t get sick/salmonella/e coli/food poisoning after I finish this review, because Blue Moon served me a raw chicken burger and I consumed about half of it before I noticed the pink raw fleshy middle. I have added pics for proof(see pictures on my site). The cooks obviously need to be replaced. The lady behind the cash register apologized profusely and offered me a $ 10 gift card. I accepted but I will NEVER be returning so the gift card is useless to me. I asked for a full refund but was only given a partial refund(just a refund for the burger which was under $ 4). I could have been offered a full-refund, but I was not. Needless to say, the management needs to do a better job at training the cooks on proper food preparation. Serving raw meat to guests is absolutely not acceptable. Unfortunately this was my first(and last) visit. I was lured in by half off Wednesdays. I ordered a «build your own» chicken burger with swiss added on ciabatta. I do not recommend this place to anyone. **this place is a public safety hazard**
