It was a good meal and at good price but nothing special. The teriyaki was tasty but disappointed in the fact the spicy teriyaki tasted like Buffalo Chicken mixed with teriyaki. I would go back but not a place I would go regularly.

Their Chicken Udon is simply wonderful. I especially love it in the winter or if I’m fighting a cold. The udon noodles are thick and tasty. The broth is super flavorful. It comes with veggies and lots of chicken. It is usually fairly spicy, but you can also ask for light spice.

This is more of a Teriyaki/Korean lunch type place than a sushi place in my opinion. I’ve never had the sushi here, and probably won’t since I’m kind of a sushi snob. What I really like is the bibimbap. Add a sunny side up egg for $ 1 more. Lots of veggies, kimchi, rice and meat(or tofu). It used to be one of the cheapest thing on the menu, but I think people are discovering it, so it’s a bit more now. Still worth it.

If you have not been graced by the presence and service by the cashier at Bento World, you don’t know customer service. She’s like a blend of mother Teresa and Mrs Clause. Oh, and the generous portion of savory chicken teriyaki is the best in Bell Town.

First time trying this place… Tldr; it’s just okay. I came for lunch and got the spicy chicken teriyaki and it was good, not great. It was mostly spicy chilis sauce and not much actual teriyaki sauce. The side salad is okay as well but nothing to write home about. And I honestly don’t care what the interior looks like. I’m all about how the food is and if the restaurant is clean enough.

This was my go-to place for take-out bibimbap when I worked in the area. Fresh and made-to-order with the fried egg on top, this is the best bibimbap I’ve had outside of a sit-down restaurant in Seattle. I occasionally got teriyaki here but it was not the best place in the area for that. I also sometimes got the sushi or bento box. The food is good value and consistent. The service is quick and friendly, and the restaurant always seemed clean to me. I probably went there a couple times per month on average over the course of 3 years. Now that I work in a different part of town I miss having a place like Bento World nearby.

Over-priced and nothing special about the food and absolutely no character. Not polite, bland.

I’ve ordered from here a couple of times now and it was great both times! The first time I had the chicken teriyaki — it was as good as any teriyaki I’ve had. Second time I got the orange sushi roll, which was a california roll with orange masago. It was great! I’m a little bummed that they don’t have edamame. It’s definitely something I would expect for them to have. They also don’t have eel sauce which is what I prefer to eat with my sushi. I’ll definitely be back — extremely tasty food!

Mooshi gross rice. Chicken was also nasty. It’s cooked with no seasoning then slathered with gross cold teriyaki sauce.

This is a hole in the wall, family owned joint that serves great lunches at great value. I was initially reluctant to go in bc the interior looked so blah. Glad I tried it anyways. They’re always friendly and serve everything with a smile. The bibimbap is fresh and well portioned(good for 2 lunches) and their spicy chicken is also delicious! If you’re looking to support a small business in belltown– come here!

Wow. So dirty. If you come here to order, keep your eyes strictly on the nice lady upfront. I would not dare to order sushi here. Giving more than 1 star, because I actually did not get sick from the food. However, will never be back again.

This is a review of a carry out dinner for two from Bento World. First, I arrived just as they were closing. However, she said she would still serve me but they didn’t have all of the menu items. I give an extra half star for this kind gesture. The food ranged from mediocre to good. Beef(Bulgogi) Teriyaki — First, the portion of beef was huge. From a flavour perspective, it was quite bland. However, she had included a generous amount of sauce to spice it up with. The rice was very coarse. As with many small Japanese shops, the salad was very basic. There was a lot of lettuce, a little cabbage, and some broccoli with a glump of flavourless dressing. Gyozas — These were simply not very good. They were extremely oily and the oil provided just about the only flavour present. The entrees cost $ 7.45 a piece. The gyozas were six for $ 3. The food was relatively neatly packed into clam-shell containers. Overall — This was an average experience. The service was very friendly and accommodating. But the food just really wasn’t anything special. It is an option though for those that live in Belltown. In my ooinion, it is not the kind of place I would go out of my way to visit. But the food might be a bit better if not ordered right at closing time.

Meh at best. Convenient, but the beef teriyaki just wasn’t very good.

I’m currently in love with their cooked salmon. Salmon pieces over rice. And the salmon fat drips into the rice. Yum! And for $ 7.95 not a bad lunch. I also like their beef bibimbap but it’s too spicy for me. I request the hot sauce on the side. I’m a spice wimp.

I’ve been going here off-and-on for 2 years, and it’s still the most bland teriyaki I’ve had in Seattle. — The chicken meat is usually not great quality, and no «chicken breast» menu option available. — The beef(the one time I ordered it) was hamburger held together by the fat on the meat. Disgusting — The vegetable yakisoba had NOSAUCE. Salty noodles with steamed veggies is NOT yakisoba. — No hot tea available. — Better get your food to go, as there’s limited seating. — Salad that comes with the teriyaki is very simple and not very tasty. I have kept trying it every couple months hoping that it will magically get better, but it hasn’t. Good thing there’s better teriyaki available a few blocks away near Pike’s Place Market.

This restaurant is so small so many people just come here to get take out. Food is served fast like many other Teriyaki places. What I like about this place is that they offer so much more. They have bibimbap, sushi, teriyaki, udon, and many other options. The lady working at the cash register is always so sweet. She brings water to you if you are eating in. So nice! This place is pretty cheap. Chicken teriyaki is $ 5.99. Bibimbap is around $ 7: I had the teriyaki with bulgogi once it was DELICIOUS! The bibimbap was also super tasty. I added $ 1 for the egg on top and it was such a good decision. However, my stomach didn’t feel too good after the bibimbap. I was fine with the teriyaki though. I looked up this place on King County Public Health website and this place had a pretty good record. It is difficult to get a table during lunch hour so I would recommend ordering to-go.

They’re food is okay. Not gonna lie. They serve cooked veggies and salad with the meat/rice. Quite plain and cheap, but a good healthy alternative. Various foods also, from Korean bibimbop to udon to teriyaki to sushi. This is right next to my work so I can understand they get many to go orders from nearby companies. However, they now only take CASH for orders under $ 10. Which is basically everything, unless you want to buy two meals with your card. And the low rating? The waitress is horrid. She’s one of those ladies that never smiles and just gives off a nasty vibe.

This was a pretty bad experience. Two small sushi rolls cost me almost $ 17. …and they were not spectacular. The space itself Is cramped, and not particularly well-maintained. I would not go here again.

I went to Bento World the other day for lunch and I ordered the special bento with spicy teriyaki chicken, rice, vegetables, shrimp tempura and a California roll for about $ 10. The shrimp tempura was easily the best part — so crispy! And the vegetables were the worst. They were supposed to be steamed, but instead they were a wet, hard, a little warm and had some weird sauce on top. The rice was minute rice, the California roll tasted like it was from QFC and the spicy teriyaki chicken would have been really good if there was no gristle. The restaurant itself is teeny. It was crowded the whole time with about five tables and nowhere for anyone to stand. The girl up front was friendly and it took about ten minutes for us to receive our food and I didn’t like that for spicy teriyaki chicken, it cost 50cents extra. Overall, Bento World is a no-go, unless you like gristley teriyaki chicken with instant rice.

This place is okay. The teriyaki sauce was not the best, but for $ 6 including tax for the chicken teriyaki it was a good value. They were very busy, but the food comes out fast. There are a handful of tables, but most people were getting their orders to go. Good place for a fast lunch, if you are tired of Subway.
