The food was good but they advertise gluten free pasta and pizza, but they don’t actually have them on the menu as of a few weeks ago. That’s pretty irritating. I called for delivery and asked to substitute gluten free penne pasta, and the girl on the phone told me «We don’t offer that any more.» Then I said I would get some gluten free pizza instead and she told me they also do not offer that. I had a recent mail ad from them that has both of these products on there, and then when my delivery came they ended up giving me another one that also has these items listed on it. Again, I can’t complain about the food, but it’s pretty disingenous to advertise that you offer gluten free products when you don’t. I’d say 4 stars if they either add the gluten free options or take them off their marketing materials.

If I could only have 1 cheesebread for the rest of my life, it’d be Amante’s! Living on Alki there’s no shortage of pizza but their’s is hands down my favorite. We call, we either walk or drive down to pick it up, it’s always ready when they say it will be and it’s always delicious. Happy Customers for sure.

Unfortunately disappointed with my food order for a couple of different reasons. Ordered the Sicilian and added ANDPAID for THREE additional toppings: CHICKEN GORGONZOLA FRESHBASIL My pizza is completely missing gorgonzola & basil. I ordered 6 hot wings with specifications for«wings only please, NODRUMSTICKS». What did I end up with? ALLDRUMSTICKS. I included my phone number and asked to be contacted in the instance the deliverer was confused with my location. Instead I(along with my 8 year old niece &2 year old daughter) ended up being startled by an unknown man walking across my top patio and waving his flash light through the window & sliding glass door.(Would have preferred a phone call to avoid that scare.) Other than that, food was hot upon delivery but, maybe I’ll chalk that up to living only .2 miles away. Decent food, but, did not get what I paid for or ordered. :(

We order from Amante regularly and are never left disappointed. Feta fries are our favorite!

Worst customer service. Our delivery driver called at the 45 minute mark stating he was at our place. We tried to give him the directions to come up, but he couldn’t understand, so we went down to meet him — no one there. 25 minutes after his first call, 2 times waiting outside, and three calls to store to try to get him to the right address — food was freezing cold. In order for the manager to give us a full refund we had to have the driver come back to pick up the uneaten food. Rediculous customer service. Never again.

Average pizza at best, and I’m tired of trying to order from them only to be told that they don’t actually stock half the toppings listed on their website. I think I’m done.

Surly to very nice, roll the dice, you might get either! You have to get these guys on a good day. Sometimes they work hard at pleasing and sometimes you know they hang up and say«another Bxxtch or Bxxstxrd!» I have my own business and I know that the owner sets the tone. I never run this up the ladder because the consistent inconsistency of attitude and product perfectly reflects what he is willing to put out there. So, go for it! Are you feeling lucky? Sometimes I am and sometimes I am not. Sometimes I vow to NEVER eat here again and then months roll by and I do it again, same old roller coaster! It’s West Seattle, what can we say? Not a whole lot of options!

A $ 1.35 for a can of coca-cola??? Are you nuts? If you want to keep customers maybe your should re-think your margins and where your profit comes from. I guarantee its not coca-cola cans. For a value added sale your taking advantage of your customers. Bad business… Shame on Amantes!

I’ve always liked the food from this place. Not the best, not the worst. But, buyer beware if ordering for delivery from their website. Ordered a pizza and pasta. An hour and a half later still no delivery. Finally called and heard that they’ve been having problems with their system, but would cancel our order if we wanted. These things happen, but there didn’t seem to be any concern for the fact that they charged us for the order, and if we hadn’t called, nothing would have ever shown up. No offer to try and make it right, other than«we can make it right now, if you still want it». I hope they figure out their ordering system soon, or at least use a third party service.

This is my go-to when I don’t have time or energy for cooking in the evening. I appreciate that they always have gluten free crust! Even when the delivery driver got into a wreck on the way to my house one time, another driver swooped in and completed my delivery in a timely manner.

Wow! Amante has amazing pizza! I almost forgot… so glad we tried them again! Amante had been our primary pizza delivery for years, with nothing but satisfied results, and then we took nearly a year off from all restaurants and delivery services while we dealt with some health issues that required specialized home cooked meals. We ordered Amante delivery tonight for the first time in over a year. Despite accidently giving Amante our old address, and sending the driver on a wild goose chase, the pizza didn’t arrive late, and the driver was very friendly and apologetic, even though it was our mistake not his. And the food was absolutely delicious! The Thai pizza tasted just like a spicy Thai dish of chicken, spinach, and peanut sauce… but on a pizza! Yum! And then I bit into the House Special pizza, which was honestly the best pizza I’ve ever had. I’m not sure anything else will be good enough again. It was piled with canadian bacon, shredded pepperoni, mushrooms, feta cheese, tomatoes, green peppers, spinach, olives, onions, whole garlic cloves, and sunflower seeds. I especially loved the flavor of the shredded pepperoni combined with the mushrooms and whole garlic cloves, plus those great little crunches of the sunflower seeds. We usually have at least half our pizza order remaining for leftovers the next day, but not this time! We stuffed ourselves silly until there were only crumbs left. Thanks, Amante! See you soon! Great experience! I ordered delivery and it was here within 40 minutes. I got the meatball sub and the barbecue chicken calzone. Both were hot, good quality and really good. The delivery driver was nice and I will definitely order with them again! :)

We have been ordering from these guys for years. The food has always been good. The salads are amazing and the portions are very large. Most of the staff is great, just a few bad apples over the years. The delivery staff are great!

Amante(at least in W. Seattle) has lost my business forever. I used to order from the Capitol Hill branch all the time and was super excited to learn that the W. Seattle one hadn’t permanently closed, just relocated to Alki(apparently sharing kitchen space with The Huddle). Heck, we were so excited that we ordered dinner from them two nights in a row! And the pies were great — done right, delivered hot — everything we expected from Amante.
Then came«The Night of Disappointment and Hunger.» We ordered two pie — a med pepperoni, light sauce, square cut and a quatro fromagio w/proscuitto. The order arrived in about 35 – 45 minutes. His was stone cold, NOT square cut and mine tasted like it was missing three of the four cheeses and the prosciutto was on top of the cheese and burnt(not under — like every other time I’d ordered it). We called to see if they could remake them and, after much discussion, they finally relented — but only because we’d eaten less than one slice of each. Thirty-five minutes later, the delivery guy returns with the new pies. We switch them for the first ones(YES, they really do make your return them — for proof apparently). Before heading in, we confirmed that yes, his was square cut and mine had meat under the cheese. All seemed well, until I took a bite. Apparently, the cook thought salt was one of the four cheeses. His was a bit on the salty side too, but mine was absolutely inedible. Thinking that it might have been a prosciutto overload, I checked under the cheese. Turns out, my concerns were for naught — the pie had a grand total of SIX measly pieces of meat. Now, we’re pissed. It’s after 10, nearly 10:30, over two hours since we placed the original order. We know they close at 11 and we have to work in the am. Called yet again — the«manager» was surly and rude — even though we were as polite as two starving people can be. «No, they could not remake the pies.» «No, they would not refund our money.» «Yes, he’ll check with the owner.» «The owner says no». «Can we speak to him please?» «He’s not here.» «Then how’d you talk to him?» «I called him.» Seriously??? At this point, we were frustrated, hungry and pissed off. Ending the call, we decided to drive down to Alki and return the pizzas — even knowing we’d get nothing but a satisfaction in return. That is/was officially the last time we’ll EVER order from Amante.
