Good pizza, horrible drinks. My Rose was completely flat. My boyfriends drink was so sweet he was unable to drink it. Pizza was quick and tasty.

This is another great Seattle gem right near the beloved Gum Wall :) 1. Atmosphere: This place has a great hidden/tucked away feel that makes it cozy and«local» feeling, despite being in the heart of Pike’s Place. It’s dimly lit with candles on each table, bare brick walls, and a bar right at the entrance. It’s casual but nice for a Friday evening out before moseying on over an improve show just across the street(see my review on Unexpected Productions– a must do!). There seems to be a lot of locals, which is a good sign. 2. Food: Actually quite good! I was definitely impressed given my medium to low expectations for restaurants in touristy places. –The 3 mushroom pizza(Truffle Tre Funghi) was really good– packed with delicious mushrooms and truffle oil flavoring, a thin crispy crust, and a perfect layer of melty cheese – all brick oven style. –The Dungeness crab dip with focaccia was another win– real bits of crab, red peppers, melty cheese. –The wedge salad w/bacon bits, juicy tomatoes, crisp lettuce, and a light blue cheese dressing was a perfect balance to the 2 other items we ordered ;) 3. Service: Just right. Friendly, casual, good pace. No complaints here. I would definitely return for a low key relaxed Friday evening! :)

An American food Lounge with a local type of feel. Darker ambiance but lit well enough for my taste. I ordered the Goat Cheese and Prosciutto Pizza and my friend has the Calzone and Mac & Cheese. I thought the pizza was okay but would recommend Serious Pie over Alibi. The Calzone however was very tasty and the Mac & Cheese were good. Service was on point and the bartender was friendly after settling in. Overall a good place just not top of the charts…

One of my coworkers and I stopped in here on a Tuesday night for a bite to eat and a glass of wine and I have to say, I was so happy that we did. The pizza is DELICIOUS! And we ordered a gluten free crust. As someone who is gluten free, i am always looking for good places to eat. I would highly recommend the Alibi Room. I will definitely be back. The atmosphere is so chill and fun. A little hole in the wall, that has live music! The waitress was awesome, and totally fine with the fact we altered the pizza from what was on menu to a custom creation. Only thing is i wish i could have read the menu without pulling out my phone to use as a light.

Love the bar, hidden away in pikes place market. Great drinks, awesome atmosphere and music… Staff is great as well. The long staircase case be a killer after too many drinks… and the bathrooms look like something from a crime scene show. Great drinks and food = Winner

I’ve been a fan of the Alibi Room for years now, I’m not sure WHY I haven’t written a review yet! Maybe because I want to keep this semi-hidden gem all to myself. But the cat’s out of the bag, this place is delicious! The Alibi Room is a small dark bar(no minors) that specializes in pizza and a TODIEFOR spicy mac n’ cheese. The last time I was in was on a Sunday during happy hour. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they have a happy hour during the weekend, especially on a Sunday. During happy hour you can grab some amazing appetizers or pizzas at 50%! On this occasion I shared a mini spicy mac and a mini bleu bacon pizza. The mini mac is about one serving, but is also nice to share if you’re grabbing something else. The mini pizza however was 8 slices! Everything was delicious and the service was excellent! They have a good amount of beers on tap, full bar, and plenty of menu items to satisfy anyone’s hunger!

Finally tried this place after hearing about it from so many people. Arrived around 5pm on Saturday and it was surprisingly empty. Luckily, this place has happy hour everyday from 4−6pm which is good if you’re trying to eat delicious food at a reasonable price. The inside is dark with lighting at the bar, which makes it very intimate. They also play great music. When I went, they played old school hip hop. This place would be great if you’re going on a date. I got a specialty cocktail on their menu. I don’t remember the name but it was the first one on their list. It had grenadene and an orange peel in it. For some reason when I ordered it, I thought it was going to taste like an old fashion since it had similar ingredients. When I got it, it was very sweet and had a bit of a medicine taste since there was grenadene in it. I don’t really like sweet drinks, so that was my fault for ordering it. My boyfriend kept raving about the spicy mac and cheese so we got two mini orders of that. It is verrrrry delicious. My boyfriend took a bite and I swear his eyes rolled to the back of his head. It’s not your normal mac and cheese. It has a red sauce and the pasta is more of a noodle texture. It’s not too heavy and it has the perfect amount of spice and cheese! We also tried the sausage and basil pizza. It was good, but nothing outstanding. It was a little too heavy on the cheese. My pizza lost all of its structure so I had a hard time eating it. My alltime favorite dish from Alibi Room is the roasted garlic. Saw it on the happy hour menu and knew I had to try it. It’s a BULB of garlic roasted and served with brie and pita bread. To be honest, they can do without the brie because the garlic is the only thing you need. After I finished the pita bread, I started putting the garlic on my pizza crust. It’s so soft and buttery and literally melts in your mouth. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Overall, I really like this place. Good music, food, ambiance. Will definitely come back!

Really fun spot, with awesome music. Tried the Cheese Pizza, and also the Brie and Focaccia. Both were good and the service here was awesome.

Fun, pseudo secret, bar across from the gum wall. Super accommodating of a large group and service was relatively consistent for happy hour. Wasn’t a huge fan of the smell, but got over it after a few beers. Seems like a fun place to come late night — rumor has it there is some serious dancing that goes down here.

I like em. Pizza is yum and the décor is on point and the ambiance is nice and moody and dark. Perfect for a first date when you smeared your makeup in the rain and don’t ACTUALLY want your date to see what you look like! And they put your pizza on a 28oz can of tomatoes. Such fun… Pizzas are pretty yummy, but service can be lacking. I tend to come here for lunch to avoid the dinner crowds but sometimes even being 1 of 2 tables its hard to flag down a server. PS their pizzas don’t heat up so well for leftovers. Floppy pizza is no fun.

We came here based on a recommendation from a server at Zig Zag Café. We were looking for the pizza that apparently is no longer on the menu there and he recommended Alibi Room for great pizza. As we sat down, we asked the server for a recommendation. He recommended the«Classic» which is a thin crust pie with extra pepperoni. When the pizza came out, we were surprised at how amazingly delicious it was. Crispy crust, tons of slightly spicy pepperoni, gooey cheese, and a good size to share. The vibe/atmosphere of this place is awesome too. We came back a few days later and tried the meat and cheese plate which was really good as well. Served with their garlic focaccia bread, brie cheese, pepperoni, prosciutto and a few other things. This is officially my favorite place in Seattle.

I have been here twice now. Once about a year ago for happy hour drinks with a friend around 430pm on a sunny day, and once more recently for dinner/wine. Food is alright, I have had better mac and cheese as it was slightly oil-y but the roasted garlic head platter that I had last time was amazing. The Napa Cellars Pinot Noir by the glass was decently priced but cocktails are on the slightly pricer end, to be expected for Alibi Room’s location. It gets super noisy in here at night, it was hard to talk to my server. I loved the feel of the bar when I went early evening though. I believe they have a DJ on weekend nights downstairs which may have lead to the more club like atmosphere. Overall, not a bad place, just not my favorite.

We found ourselves wandering around the city for some place to eat. There was a game on and most places were packed with people. Seattlens take their football seriously… and I thought Padre fans were crazy… LOL! While lost in Seattle, we found the Alibi Room. What a great find! I like the fact that it is hidden away and dark inside. Our server welcomed us to Seattle and gave us plenty of time to peruse the menu before ordering. I chose a Mule which was perfect! We ordered the dungeness crab dip with artichoke hearts and focaccia bread. This was served hot and delicious… though I thought it would’ve been also great with tortilla chips. We ordered the Sausage and Basil pizza. Good crispy crust and fresh basil! Nice change from the standard pepperoni I would’ve ordered. I then tried their signature Fresca cocktail. Refreshing and a little fruity… LOL! Overall, a great place to chill with drinks, or for a low key meal. The couple behind us were funny to listen to. First they were in love, then they were arguing and accusing each other of not being in love, then they made up and all was right in the world… LOL! Maybe they were cheating on their spouses and hiding out… at least they’d have an «alibi»…LOL!

We came here for a drink and second dinner and it did not disappoint. Overall, it is a pretty dark bar but it does have a view from the bar of the gum wall(which is now gone – although I think it may be in a resurgence already). The bartender was nice overall. I did not like their house Malbec but I can’t fault them for that I guess. My husband got their beer which he enjoyed. We got more pizza here and actually thought it rivaled Serious Pie although the ingredients didn’t taste as high quality as Serious Pie. My husband got the pepperoni pizza and really enjoyed it. This bar is nestled in an alley overlooking the now gone gum wall and is next to Pike’s Place market. Come here to have a relaxing time. Oh, and they rock 90s music which we loved!!!

The alibi room makes an excellent cocktail, especially in the whisky category. Only reason this isn’t a 5 star review is the price. It’s about $ 9 for a drink. I haven’t eaten their food to be fair and I hear it’s really good. I will most likely be back to check that out. Recommended.

A friend of mine and I came here to order an appetizer and a drink. Then it took at least 30 minutes before ordering a drink. We also ordered Brie and apples but what came out was apples and bread then the thinnest 2 slices of brie I’ve ever seen. The place looks nice but is not worth your money.

After viewing the now-barren Gum Wall outside, my teenager and I were looking forward to pizza dinner, to lift our spirits. Sadly, though the menu was appealing, there were no tables, to be found. We went back out, into the bleak alley no longer adorned with layers of colorful gum, to find another place to eat. We were already halfway down the street when the host came out and found us, on discovering a table after all. And so it was that we had a meal that my teenager described as, «The best pizza of my life, and I think I know a little about the subject.» It really was just that good. The restaurant is small and so dark you might need your phone’s flashlight to read the menu, and it was noisy and very busy when we were there. It feels like the kind of place you might have gotten an illicit drink during prohibition, with its darkened windows, wood ceiling, and vaguely creepy artwork. The pizzas are set onto giant cans of olives on your table — no pretense at all. And oh, are they good. Delightful, crispy, thin crusts with traditional or imaginative toppings and finished with a handful of shredded fresh herbs. Just perfect. One pizza is enough for two, or get your own pizza and take the extra home in a box. Our waitress was visibly busy, but we never felt neglected. Ditto the kitchen, which is open, so we could see pizza after pizza being assembled — there was a bit of a wait, but not for lack of effort on their part, and not excessively long, either. And it was worth the wait.

I won’t be coming back after the service I experienced. I was excited to try this place out, it being right in the middle of Pike Place and downtown, but was severely disappointed by the lack of professionalism here. So my friend and I came solely for drinks with the possibility of ordering some food. We asked for more time with the menu, naturally. When I said I still wasn’t sure what I wanted to eat about 5 minutes into our drinks, our server made a face, stomped off, and never checked back again. I honestly would’ve ordered something if she had taken the time to even pretend to be nice and introduce the menu to us. Near the end of our drinks, she came by to pick up the menus and said«It bothers me SO much when people keep these on the table» — I was shocked by how much shade she threw at us! When she came back again to return the receipt, she pretty much tossed the little booklet on our table. No, of course she didn’t say thank you or goodbye. I’m almost embarrassed by the fact that this kind of service exists in Pike Place, the heart of Seattle’s tourist hub. The only redeeming traits about this place are its decent interiors and selection of alcohol. Food might be good too but I’ll never know. If you really want to give it a shot, just cross your fingers you won’t get the same server I did. My water had a really funky dish soap taste to it and I actually felt uncomfortable about asking her to switch it out. That’s saying something.

OHMYGOD, How could I forgotten to give this place A 5STARREVIEW, they earned it!!! HIGHLIGHTOFOURTRIPTOSEATTLE!!! Our night was almost ruined by some lame hostess at Toulouse Petit! Thank God no reservations were needed even though it was a crazy Saturday night and I called over 5 other restaurants who were not taking anymore reservations. I think since it tucked away, it is a little hidden gem in Pike Marketplace. The hostess, waitress, bar tender… Kuddos to them all! They sat us down right away and even let my husband charge his phone. They had amazing recommendations and of course you can never fail with having eggs on your pizza. So we went with it, the Green Eggs and Ham Pizza and it was TOOOOODIEFOR!!! YUMMY!!! Hands down one of the most flavorful, creative, ingenious pizza combos I have ever put in my mouth! If and when we go back to Seattle I will look forward to having my son try this awesome and neat little place!!!

Came to Alibi for a quick drink after work so it wasnt a very long stay. Just go towards the gum wall and you’ll see the sign for Alibi Room. Wasnt busy at all when I came in, they do have some Happy Hour specials and a good amount of food options available. Pizzas seem to be a hit here. Good amount of room to sit, saw some people working on their laptops in the corner, if you need a quick break from the Pike Place Market madness, this may be a good spot to tuck into for a bit and have a drink and relax. Friendly bartender and interesting artwork on the wall I believe is for sale too. Bathrooms downstairs, so try not to fall down. This place is listed in the«dance club» category? Is this a club at night? Didn’t know that… most likely Ill be asleep by that time. Anyways, overall I liked it, and a good spot to stop after work.

This place doesn’t have bells and whistles, but it really doesn’t need it! The pizza is made in a brick oven, made with fresh, creative ingredients. Literally any pizza is worth ordering because they start with great ingredients that shine. The staff is friendly, but they aren’t your best friend so go ahead and order or let them move on… don’t ramble! The drinks are flavorful and strong and like most Seattle spots, their bartenders are knowledgeable. My review on this place is shorter than my usual ones because I’m trying to be as direct as this place is. One tip for the ladies, skip the short skirts as the benches are wood and can be a bit… textured. Have fun!

Tucked away in Pike Place Market by the gum wall, this cozy bar ends up having a downstairs as well. Based on the entrance in the brick wall, you imagine a small bar but are proved otherwise. As we walked in, the server seated us within a few minutes and took our drink orders. They had a menu for the happy hour, a wine menu and the regular menu. The happy hour food selection was pretty decent. We ordered the andouille sausage mini pizza, spicy mac and cheese and bruschetta. First with the andouille sausage pizza; it was a decent pizza, the dough/bread was lightly crispy and good. The crust wasn’t too hard in any spots and the sauce was good. I regret not ordering different toppings as I realized that I am not a fan of andouille sausage. Overall, I recommend trying their pizza. The spicy mac and cheese was rather small for a $ 6 happy hour dish that is supposed to be half price. The dish it came it was about 1 cm deep with a bunch of spiral pasta topped with cheese and some sort of spicy flavoring. It was more of a dull aftertaste type of spiciness. I would advise against this mac and cheese as it lacked flavor and dimension and just gave me a bunch of fat calories. Finally the bruschetta, do not order it. The bread was over-toasted, insanely hard to the point the nerves in my teeth started hurting. The tomato bruschetta portion was very watery as if the tomatoes had been soaking all day or recently unfrozen? The bruschetta was very flavorless and to say I have had better would be a serious understatement. Overall these 3 dishes, a draft beer and water came to about $ 27 w/tax and we definitely think there are better happy hour places to visit. I didn’t come out regretting coming here but sadly there was nothing to make me want to come again. Sometimes you go to places which leave a memory for time to come but this place unfortunately will be a forgotten memory as soon as I save this review.

A wonderful dark lounge at Pike Place Market originally owned I am told by the great character actor Tom Skerritt. On the right side of the door all his scripts over a long career sit on two shelves. The drinks are reasonably priced and it’s just a cool place to hang out away from the hustle and bustle of the market. I didn’t try the food but told it’s decent pub grub. I would definitely hang out here when I wanted low-key place to drink if I lived in Seattle. I am not a dive bar person. This has what I take to be some of the perks of a dive bar without any of the downsides.

Cool location. Walk down the stairs of Pike Place Market, where the big sign is. The place is super dark and cozy. The hostess was super friendly and got us a table even though it was super packed. Got a few drinks — moscow mules, and a few beers. Pretty good. Also ordered the jalapeño chicken flatbread. It looks like they are known for their flatbread, but it was okay — nothing memorable, and have had better. The waitress was a bit rude. We had sat for at least 20 min before she came by and gave us water and menus. Then when we had tried to get her attention to order, she gave us the«wait a minute» finger and didnt come back fro another 15 min. It was very weird.
