This place hasn’t changed much since I last visited here during college… Wait time is minimal and the food is always fresh and yummy. Decided to drop by for a quick dinner and it proved to be quite satisfying :) Ordered a lamb and beef gyro and for $ 2 more, upgraded my meal to a combo that included a choice of a drink and either soup, fries, or salad. Do note, there are two sizes of food you can order here, the regular and jumbo. The regular itself is pretty filling but if you’re extra hungry, I recommend getting the bigger size! The gyro itself was decisions. Full of fresh lettuce, onion and various kind of sauces, every bite you take is full of different flavors. As for the fries, these were pipin hot and had this unique like topping or seasoning on them. If you decide to dine in, food will be delivered to you. Service here is quick and the waitstaff is pretty friendly. Can’t go wrong eating food here!

What’s better then a gyro, gyro fries!!! I’ve been taking trips to Seattle often over the course of four years and only now my brother(who attended and graduated from UW) has introduced me to Aladdin’s fries! Forget chili cheese fries, forget truffle fries, forget garlic tries, forget any other kind of fries for that matter, because gyro fries is where it’s at! Soooo good, whether you’re drunk or sober.

Nothing fancy. Just good Middle Eastern food. We liked the basic falafel on pita. We’ll come back when we’re in the neighborhood.

This place is the very definition of «hole in the wall,» which is fine by me. I ordered the chicken gyro plate(#20), but I kinda wish I had sprung for the dinner plate since it comes with pita & hummus. I had hot sauce added into the chicken – great flavor combined with the garlic sauce. The salad was great too, although there was kind of a pool of vinegar and sauce at the bottom, making the container soggy. They have a lot of vegetarian options and the greek fries look amazing, so I will go there again and again. My only complaint is that, despite the prominent display of the credit cards they accept, I was told they usually charge $ 0.50 for using credit cards(which is not displayed.) They didn’t charge me for it that time, but it makes me a little hesitant to go back. I recommend paying with cash to make life a little easier. I also witnessed them undercharge another customer, and after realizing the mistake, did not charge the customer more, so I thought that was very cool of them. This place may seem rough around the edges – servers aren’t super cheery, décor and seating are simple, and it’s a tiny space – but the food speaks for itself.

I had chicken shawarma and the sauce was thick, creamy, aromatic and just delicious. Cozy little place perfect for a late night crack. Seating is limited but you won’t mind waiting, if you must sit and eat. Don’t look for fine seating and décor but if tasty food is what you crave, you won’t be disappointed. It’s a ‘true’(yes– hyphenated) hidden gem like someone else said. It was my first time last night there and I can’t wait for see what I’ll try and like next time at my new late night Seattle favorite. :-)

I have a love hate relationship with gyros, they have to be made a very specific way for me to like them and this place is on point. I am a lover of garlic, which this place has plenty of. I always get the Aladdin Gyro which rather than tzatziki sauce on it is covered in the same garlic sauce they use on their amazing Greek fries. They are very friendly and rather quick with making our food. Another big plus is that they are open late(2am on the weekdays 4am weekends), after a few drinks this place really hits the spot. They have a really large drink selection which is a big plus in my book. The gyro itself had very juicy and tender meat, tons of cheese and feta cheese and a good amount of onions that have been grilled with the meat. They sprinkle a bit of spice afterwards to bring out one last bit of flavor. In my opinion this is one of the best places on the ave, and is by far the best gyro I have had around town. Definitely worth a stop in if you enjoy a gyro.

I’ve tried every Gyro place on the ave, and this place is by far the best. Their meat is seasoned perfectly and cooked so that it has a bit of crispiness on the outside. Only downside I can think of is that they charge extra for paying with card. Their fries are good as well and they’re open late. One of my favorite places to go
