A&W Restaurant

I’m not sure if there was an off day in communication or what, but the burger meat and fries were extremely salty, to the point of being inedible. I ordered an ice cream and 5 minutes later the guy behind the counter said their machine had been cleaned out and turned off for the evening. What kind of A&W doesn’t have ice cream readily available? Huge disappointment all around.

I came in for a root beer float to pass time with a buddy before dropping him off at the airport. My root beer tasted fermented and the only flavor I got out of it was vanilla.
There is a sign hanging above the counter where you pick up food that says ‘Root beer made fresh daily in store with cane sugar.’ We asked for some fresh root beer as opposed to the soda fountain and the worker said it was the same as the fountain and asked us to get it there. The workers had a pitcher under the soda fountain by the drive through window. They would literally get the root beer from there and then pour it in your cup from a fancy pitcher to make it look fresh. A serious disappointment. Either the sign above the counter lies, or the workers have gotten lazy beyond belief.
I won’t be back here.

There are not many A&W restaurants around anymore so we were happy to find this one. The staff were very nice and accommodating. I’d recommend to anyone!
