Great breakfast/brunch spot on Eastlake Avenue. No view of Eastlake but thats okay because the food is worth it. They have a variety of delectable offerings ranging from your eggs, hashbrowns, meat and toast to french toast and eggs benedict. They even have alcoholic morning beverages. A great place to try with good prices for the amount of food you get. Worth trying if you haven’t been.

I have really come to love this place over the years. It’s a very charming spot, the type we seem to be losing to all of the development these days. The service is way down to Earth like I’d find back home in W. Michigan. They have such a wide variety of food that it’s hard to choose. You really can’t go wrong though, whether it’s an omelette, benedicts, or chilaquiles. They also have a board of changing specials, when you want to mix it up. Overall a great place for real breakfast food, the type you grew up eating and get a hankering for. Prices are a bit lower than other brunch options it seems. They also serve a really good cup of coffee!

This is our first time here and we are pleasantly surprised by the variety of breakfast options. My husband had the pancake combo #2 and raved over the pancakes. I had the eggs Benedict and it was great! It comes with has towns perfectly cooked and a bowl of drag fruit including bananas which is a huge thumbs up!

Perfect place for a relaxing breakfast. You can everything from traditional to Seattle influenced breakfasts. The staff was on it but easy going at the same time — just want you want for breakfast!

A classic breakfast diner with good food at fair prices. I almost regret giving this little secret away with the 5 stars. Along with a great breakfast menu, I think their mochas are the best in town.

Opens the app looking for breakfast and 14 Carrot was the closest. Good breakfast. Like at moms house if mom could cook and knew what a cheese grater was. The fruit was fresh and the coffee hit the mark. All in all it was just what I was looking for. The Lake Union was just right.

Awesome place in an even better location! I tried the Brioche French toast with Tahini. And if you like nut butters, this will not disappoint. Also came with a huge bowl of yogurt and fruit, which was all delicious! Everyone was very nice and the service was great, highly recommended! Cheers, Chris

This place deserves five stars. The food is not pretentious, perhaps that’s the reason. What it is is good, home style food. Basic food, yes, but a lot more is available. You can get things like, say, California Egg Benedict with avocado, but you don’t have to. They have the regular version, too, which isn’t «cute“enough for a lot of restaurants. Do you like service? This is the place. Nice people who just want to make you happy. This is one place that when they say, «My pleasure,» they seem to mean it. Relax, kick back, and act like you are at home — with a really good cook!

Really nice experience here. We were seated quickly and had a delightful server, though the prices were a bit high. The food was really tasty and they give you enough to save some for leftovers. I’ll definitely be back.

Love, love, love this place. My son took me here many years ago for breakfast with his ’ then ’ girlfriend,(now wife). Breakfast is fantastic, with big enough portions for me to make 2 meals. My favorite dish now is the curry,(only served for lunch tho) Found out the hard way, we went there one late morning craving the curry, only to find out they don’t serve it until lunch.: *(
The owner was so sweet, she recognized us and also knew we drive a bit to get there, so she had the cook make me my dish so i could take it home AFTER I ate my breakfast! complimentary . It’s a nice little family-run café. We love it!

I’ve stopped here for coffee a couple times now. I have enjoyed the Americano, which is definitely better than the chain locations. I would enjoy some other bean choices, but even if I had to cross the street, I’d rather go here than the chain choices. Service is fast enough to grab something on a break or right before work.

I’ve been here four times so far, all breakfast except for the last. I’ve never been disappointed with their breakfast items & lattes, but the lunch was just meh(ordered the turkey cranberry & avo turkey sandwiches). 5 stars for brunch, 3 stars for lunch, so averaging out to 4 stars.

i love brunch places, but this is not one of my fav. First, the wait for long. Understand that brunch places crowded, always popular and always a wait. But after we got seated and ordered, we were waiting for longer than normal. Second, I forgot exactly what I ordered, but it comes with a piece of coffee cake. When the cake first came, it looks good, but it didn’t taste good. It was way to dry, and I only managed to eat like two bites.

This place is pretty much a diner, but their food is good. The portions are huge but they charge if you share We always get eggs Benedict and hash browns or omelettes. The stuffed French toast is amazing as well! They are more pricier than normal breakfast/diner places but I think that’s because if the portion sizes.

First time here in Seattle, I have to say this place is a gem! Best homemade cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had! Also had the breakfast croissant sandwich which was equally amazing! Not only was the food great but so was the costumer service!

We went here today for the first time. I’d never heard of it — but a friend had been years ago and said it was good. Since it was a Tuesday at about 11 a.m. — it was pretty dead which was nice for us. We could sit anywhere. I liked the décor and atmosphere. Looking at the menu, it’s definitely pricier than most breakfast places. The service was quite good though. I had the breakfast quesadilla with avocado and bacon. OHMYGOSH — that is DELICIOUS! I am going to CRAVE that now! The bacon was super crispy — just perfect — and there was a lot of avocado which was really fresh and just perfect. I got a side of bacon and it was cooked perfectly and thick cut and terrific! My son had pancakes which he liked very much. The only problem was the hash browns. Just nothing special there. I didn’t even eat them — and hashbrowns are usually my favorite! But, they were unseasoned and just MEH — they paled in comparison to the quesadilla! I’ll definitely go back when we’re in the area.

I’ve attended 14 Carrot Café 3 times– twice for brunch and once for a late lunch. They offer standard diner food but the atmosphere is welcoming. The serving sizes are(like most breakfast joints) enough to serve 3 people, so it’s practical to share a plate between two. Unfortunately, you will be charged $ 3 extra even if the second diner orders a side dish and drink. I find this practice wasteful and unfair since the same amount of food is served when sharing or not.(Hint: don’t mention you’re sharing). 14 Carrot Café achieves an energizing morning feel with their bright walls and rotating paintings from local artists. It’s a good place to go read the news or a book in an uplifting atmosphere with free coffee refills. It’s definitely best for brunch and breakfast, weekdays and weekends both.
