I was there this last Wednesday and got a pedicure, by Saturday 3 days later the polish on 2 of my nails completely peeled off. Now it’s Sunday it’s completely peeled off of 4 toenails &2 others have half way peeled off. It was a pricey pedicure, they don’t even have massage chairs and I’m completely disappointed. Worst pedicure I’ve ever had!

I had a long layover in Seattle and figured I’d try this place to relax. My manicure is lovely, but the technician would not stop trying to sell shit to me. Not the relaxing environment I hoped for. The products are well known for being high end, so I was happy to spend the $ 30 on a manicure and snagged a couple of products off of the sale table. Overall, I’m happy, and will visit again, but I left feeling slightly irritated.

Had 40 minutes to kill. Manicure dried quickly and is holding up. Technician was fun to talk to and did a great job. Bonus that they were having a sale on polishes(which rarely happens) so I picked up a couple bottles too!

Awesome waterless pedicure. My skin is so soft it feels like Buttah!!! My nail color is hot pink called SNOG. The nail technician even included silver sparkles!!! I felt totally pampered. It was a lovely way to spend some time when I got to the airport early. Treat yourself to some pampering. They keep an eye on the time so you won’t miss your flight!!! Can’t wait to do it again the next time I fly!!!

WASTEOFMONEY. $ 28 for a manicure?! And not even a real manicure! They don’t do my cuticles at all. Been there three times and each time my polish on hands and/or feet peels or chips within a day. There’s a massage place next door that will help you relax better than this place.

This is the only Butter nail salon that exists. It makes me sad because I love their polish so much. They have great colors to choose from, nice nail techs, and have great customer service. They make sure to get you in and out quickly to catch your flights. If you’re looking for creative, fun nails, or full on pampering, this isn’t that kind of place. It’s just a quick, polish change kind of place. But with trying to make it to my next flight, this is all I have time for anyway. I stop here almost every time I have a layover in Seattle. The only down side is that it is quite spendy when all you’re getting done is a nail polish change, not a full manicure. To polish your nails it is $ 20. But when you are about to fly to see clients, it’s good to have nice nails when you land!

I am a Butter London devotee anyway but was extra excited to see there were not one, but two!, Butter shops in SeaTac when I had several hours to kill at the airport. The selection of nail polish and other make up is vast and the staff were really nice. I didn’t feel the need to spring for any services but I did pick up a bottle of Trout Pout.

After a couple days, my nails have begun to chip. I’m not terribly surprised – I’d heard bad things about the butter london polish line, and of course the reviews here. It’s too bad, the color was very pretty(pink ribbon) and I was considering purchasing a bottle to use at home if it lasted a little longer. I’m glad I waited to see what would happen. $ 15 for a bottle of below-average quality nail polish would have been upsetting.(I’ve had great luck with Essie and Nails INC) Also, one thing I forgot to mention in my original review is that the girls working there were very nice. The girl at the front desk and one of the manicurists worked together to find me a hair elastic when I asked them where I could buy one(because I managed to forget to pack one and my hair was driving my crazy). The manicurist gave me one from her purse, even after I insisted that was unnecessary, and I have to say as far as hair elastics go this wasn’t a cheap one. Anyway, point is, the people there are nice. That buys them one star, back up to 3.

One star for convenience. For $ 26 I got a mani which included a quick filing, lotion, and color. Looked decent but the manicurist layered on so much polish it took 30 mins to dry and probably used 1⁄3 of the bottle. And of course the polishe flaked right off in sheets the next day, as it does when you paint it on too thick. Waste of $ 32(with tip). You would think for a high-end brand they would hire people who knew what they were doing…

Had a good extra hour to kill and I was so stoked to find out someone actually got some brains and put a nail salon after tsa screening… Genius idea! Leslie helped me and she was quick and friendly. The salon in the C gate concourse is super cute. They also have a new kiosk in the N gate concourse that I didn’t know about but it didn’t matter because I had plenty of time. Great products of course. Mani for 26.00. Not bad at all in airport terms… Especially since you spend 11.00 on a bagel etc. Highly recommended!
