Panera Bread is solid, I love the soup and sandwich deal. My favorite is the Broc-Cheese and turkey sandwich with an apple.

SHOUTOUTTOMANAGEMENTTEAM– this place is going to go downhill and VERY fast! I’ve come here since it opened and the last few years I am angry everytime I leave. It’s hard to blame the employees because it starts with poor management who hire them. First of all, you can not have a basic menu and then not have all ingredients in stock. It is understandable that you run out of things throughout the week and there are more popular items in the menu so they run out faster. But when the majority of the menu is out and you have to substitute out every ingredient in your soup and sandwich that isn’t acceptable. They were completely out of tea and when I asked someone to kindly refill it they just stood there and said okay. By the time I left it was STILL empty. And I cleared the beverage station of the water mess. Shout out to the homie Jasmine who was the MVP. She figured out how to accommodate to our order and even threw in some chips for the inconvenience. She gets one star and the fact that we received some sort of edible arrangement in a timely manner. Plus my mum loves the soup Jasmine recommended. Panera Bread In Rossmoor/Seal Beach, get it together!!!

Oh my goodness Panera came out with gluten free cookies. I choose the chocolate one and it’s so delicious. For a chocolate lover I’m so happy. Thanks for stepping it up.

I haven’t been to Panera bread in years, so I was really excited when I ended up here for lunch. I’ll preface my review that this Panera location is unlike any of the others that I’ve been to. More specifically, the building is shaped like a circle. There is not enough room for indoor seating considering the large influx of customers they have at lunch time, and it’s just really crowded in here. I ordered the you pick two with the fuji apple chicken salad, the sierra turkey sandwich, and a side of baguette. It took a while to figure out where the drink dispensers were and to find water cups(Hint: I could not find water cups because they were out of them). It also took a while to find a table because they were all occupied; however, people just seemed like they were hanging out and holding tables. There weren’t that many people eating at their tables, they were mostly just hanging out with their laptops. I was with a party of three, and it took a long time for anyone’s food to arrive. When my food finally did arrive, there was no salad dressing on my salad or on the side. So I had to flag down the waitress to get some salad dressing, which was difficult because the restaurant was really busy. When I finally started eating, I realized that they were using lettuce that was not freshly cut. It was starting to brown on the edges, so I didn’t eat much of the lettuce. The toppings were all really good aside from the lettuce though. The blue cheese and dehydrated apples were really delicious, and the chicken was well seasoned. The baguette, of course, was amazing. I also really enjoyed my sandwich. The combination of the turkey, onion, and sauce, worked very well together, and it made for a very tasty sandwich. I will probably try the cerritos location next, as this one was not the best.

Food is good. This location is often busy though and tend to be open until 9 or 10pm. However, the later you go the more likely you will learn that they are our of bread, chips, lemonade, etc. I think this is because they begin closing down a bit early.

WTF Friday… This place continues to bring the suck! I stopped in for a quick breakfast, and left feeling like I wanted to purge. I ordered a bacon, egg, and Asiago cheese sandwich, what I got was a nasty greasy sandwich that seems like it had been nuked. They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over again and expecting different results then I guess I must be certifiable.

I am in a very low carb diet and Panera has been my too go restaurant. They have such a large selection of salads and the can make any of sandwiches into lettuce wrap. Everything that I have eaten from here is delicious. I also love all the quinoa almond oatmeal talk about a great low carb dessert.

Despite all of the negative reviews. I am happy to give five stars to this establishment. Today i went in during lunch time and sat at the back table to work on some paperwork. When I got home I noticed that my purse was not in the car. I immediately call Panera Bread and asked if a purse was turned in. The gentleman asked for a description and confirmed that it was my purse. I was ecstatic to find everything including my money had not been touched. A big THANKYOU to the honest staff at Panera Bread!

This place is the worst! Panera chains in general are all so overpriced and this Panera in particular is so disorganized. There isn’t a single helpful or happy employee. Every time I’ve been in there, there’s an entire new crew.(Must be some problems behind the scenes) My order is almost always wrong. Save your 12 dollars for a sandwich and go to subway! Better yet, go to a grocery store! Spend 12 dollars there and you have sandwiches for a week!!!

Those with milk allergies beware, I’m sorry to say. I’ve been told that Panera uses milk in all their breads which explained why I had issues soon after eating there. Very delicious looking breads though! Eye appeal is good.

I have had mixed experiences at this particular location. Today, my daughter ordered a tuna sandwich and I forgot to ask for no lettuce or tomato. When the sandwich came, I just removed it myself… only to find that the lettuce had a lot of dirt on it. Not just a few flecks, a lot(clay-like)! It’s so gross to think that my poor daughter could have eaten that! I showed the manager the lettuce and he took it and said, «Sorry» quickly. I gave them two stars solely because the baguette and tomato soup I had tasted pretty good. I don’t think I will be back.

Why do I keep coming back here?! This Panera location is horrible! They are always out of items, have given me the wrong order on more than one occasion, and every time I get soup(which is usually every time I come here) it’s lukewarm at best. I’ve called to speak to the manager before and that was pointless and have also written to corporate. Still waiting for a response. glad I didn’t hold my breath. The one star is for their iced tea and lemonade. Both of those are always perfect.

This was a visit on 11÷28÷15. I live in Seal Beach and this is my local Panera. This is also the last time I’ll go here. The service is always mediocre at best. The food always tastes microwaved. You have to hear up your own pastries. But on this occasion, we walked in and a manger was standing behind the registers talking to two employees. I was greeted and started to ask if they had any soufflés left, the girl behind the register just turned away and continued her conversation. I thought that was very rude. She turned back a minute or two later and asked, «How can I help you?» Again, I started to inquire about the soufflés and she again turned to finish her conversation. Nope. I’m out. We turned and walked out. People work very hard for their money. Spend your hard earned money somewhere where it is appreciated.

(Review based on 2.5 stars) This Panera Bread is located in the same plaza as Sprouts and Pei Wei(right in front of Pei Wei actually). My mother and I decided to come by here for a late dinner this past Sunday night around 8:30 pm. There were only 2 or 3 tables seated but no line to order. After browsing the menu, we ended up ordering: Pick 2 Meal With Asian Sesame Chicken Salad and ½ Napa Almond Chicken Salad, $ 10.98 prior to tax– After sitting down at a table, my mom and I didn’t wait long for our meals to be brought over to us. I wished the salad was made with the dark green leafy spring mix but instead, it was made with a mix of iceberg lettuce and romaine lettuce. The salad was cold and so was the chicken. Thought it was just average at best. My half sandwich was on white bread and surprisingly very good. I really liked the chicken filling with half grapes, almonds and mayonnaise. But would have nice to have this on a more heartier bread though. This entrée also comes with a piece of baguette bread as well, which I did not eat since I was already full. The price of this entrée is fair, considering the portion size you get. But the chicken salad was rather a disappointment and there should be an option to get your sandwich on a different type of bread(is that an option? If there is, the employee who took my order did not ask me). Pick 2 Meal With Chicken Noodle Soup and ½ Sierra Turkey Sandwich, $ 8.98 prior to tax– My mom wanted some soup with her dinner and was eager to try it. Unfortunately it came to her cold! She told the employee who took our order and told her she can heat it up in the microwave. I was pretty surprised by that, that an employee would not heat up her soup for her. Also why is there a microwave at this place? Not surprised that the soup was pretty pitiful. It tasted like something out of a can. Would not recommend ordering this soup or any of their soups for that matter. My mom’s sandwich was okay, just your typical turkey sandwich. The size of the half sandwich was plenty for her. I thought the turkey lunch deli meat itself tasted okay. The portion size for this entrée was also a large amount. My mom was also full and decided to take her baguette bread home too. — — — — – (Total= $ 21.02 after tax) I am a big fan of soups, salads and sandwiches which is perfect for Panera Bread and Corner Bakery. But our meal choices were disappointing. This actually makes me rethink if I would want to come back to Panera Bread again in the future.

In my opinion, you can never go wrong with Panera. Buuut in this case this location may not be my prime location, though it’s the closest one to me. I ordered my broccoli cheddar soup with a baguette, per usual, and so did my dad. After we ordered and we’re waiting for our food, the woman comes by to say that they’re all out and to order something else. Somewhat of a bummer because that’s really all I get, literally every time I go. The service was okay, nothing super great but nothing terrible. Very average experience.

Stopped here in the morning to get coffee. I walked in and saw there was only one person in line in front of me. I thought great. this should be fast. I was wrong. The line behind me grew and there were a bunch of workers behind the counter but no one offered to open up another register. It took me over 10 mins just to get coffee. Hope they will get the line going faster in the future.

I think 3 stars is a very fair average for Panera Bread. Everything from service to food isn’t the best yet it isn’t the worst. Doesn’t really taste that bad, doesn’ really taste that good, really doesn’t taste like much at all. Restaurant is very clean with tons of seating. When you first walk into the restaurant scents of fresh baked bread wafts into your nostrils. As soon as you leave the front area another scents wafts into your nostrils… that old people smell. 99% of the patrons here are from Leisure World which is just up the street. Since I track my calories it’s easier for me to eat at a chain restaurant that has a calculated nutrition guide vs. me guessing. Panera Bread has their calorie counts easily displayed right on the menu and most of their menu is fairly low in calories. I ordered the«Soba Noodle Bowl with Edammame» with a power kale ceasar. They instead brought me the soba noodle bowl with chicken. Since it took eternity for our food to arrive I just went ahead and ate it. The soba bowl was chicken, soba noodles, spinach, napa cabbage, mushrooms, onions, sesame seeds, and cilantro in a soy-miso broth. The salad had chicken, kale, romaine, parmesan, croutons, and Caesar dressing. Portions size for both items were very large and filling. Neither had much flavor at all. I appreciated the low calories but you could tell it was low calorie. Nothing really stood out in either item and the soba noodles were cooked to mush. I’m yawning just writing about it. My wife had one of their pasta dishes along with a cup of soup and she said her meal was pretty tasty. I’m sure I’ll be back due to the convienence of the published nutrition guide. They have some really intersting looking sandwiches so I think I’ll try that next time.

Menu is so confusing. Wish it can more simplistic… It’s also a bit pricy. Service is extremely fast. Food is okay. Depends on what you order… I had the chicken and rice soup which was hearty and delicious but I had the pasta which was salty. Parking is okay…

FOOD: ++ Great salads and soups. I always get the You Pick 2 with Thai chopped chicken salad and broccoli cheddar soup. ++ Soufflés are great — flaky and soft. ++ I like the whole wheat bagel with their honey walnut cream cheese. That way I get to indulge with the cream cheese and feel healthy with the whole wheat. ++ Scones are always a great choice too! LOCATION: In the same Plaza as Peets coffee. It looks like a giant domed circus tent, you can’t miss it! WiFi can be hard to come by because during lunch and dinner times you can only use it for 30 minutes. Also, bundle up because they keep it cold inside!
