The Camp Recovery Center

OK, now I am going to make this clear from the start and save you the time from trying to figure it out. I fully support any type of drug treatment facility and I do not feel that enough is done in our state to help people out with addiction problems. It is pathetic to see that we have come so far over the past couple of hundred years and still can not grasp the idea that we sometimes must help others in order to make their life better, instead of watching them slowly kill themselves. Addiction is a disease as has been proven time and time again; as we all know addiction does kill people and it ruins families, communities, and lives daily.
Now onto the topic at hand, the review. The Camp is a great place for recovery because it gives the opportunity to be away from the environment that brought upon this situation in the first place. The staff is very knowledgeable and does help to treat the issue of addiction. They do this through group therapy, family counseling sessions, and a wide range of methods to clear the mind of the re-​occurring habits. If you are looking for a treatment facility this place should definitely be considered.
Now, there are two things to keep in mind when researching treatment facilities. (1) Everyone is different; This place may work for some and it may not work for some. It is extremely important to find the right place for treatment. If the patient does not like the environment than they will not give it a serious effort to stay clean and sober. (2) This is not a complete fix; 30 days of staying sober does not mean you have kicked the habit. The practices must continue after treatment and the family must make a comparable effort to get help for their issues as well. Be open to trying new things like Al-​Anon or Nar-​Anon if you expect for any of this to have a long lasting affect. If you do not make that effort than you are not helping the situation what so ever.
I can honestly go on about this forever, but I will spare the time and wish you all best wishes with getting the proper treatment and staying clean and sober. You have to work the program, it wont work if you dont work it. Best of luck!
