Absolutely fantastic restaurant. It’s not only the best Brazilian Steakhouse style restaurant I’ve ever been to it’s been one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve been here twice with my boyfriend and after we have been there we’ve raved about how we wish we could eat every meal at that place. They switch up their vegetable so I’ve had the ratatouille(amazing) and the green beans(even more amazing, best green beans I’ve ever had in my life). They have a lovely salad bar that also changes and if you ever have a chance to taste their cauliflower soup please do so. It tastes a little bit like warm rye bread which is actually really amazing, especially if you dip the little biscuits that you’re provided at your table into it. The biscuits by the way are served with a tangerine butter which is to die for. They also serve mashed potatoes and drinks are seasonal, however the lemonade is by far the tastiest non-alcoholic beverages there. And probably one of the tastiest period. They also serve triple purified water at your table. But on to the meat! If you’ve ever been to a Brazilian Steakhouse like Texas De Brazil for instance you have a little card you flip over to green to indicate you’d like them to serve you some meat, however it’s classier at Zed, and you place a stone by your plate to indicate you’re interested in more meat. Different servers will happily offer you all sorts of dishes which are constantly changing nightly. I would highly recommend you go VERY easy on the sides and the salad bar because you’ll get so full devouring all of that meat that you’ll feel sick by the end of the night if you overindulge. The management is just as fantastic if not more so than the food. Once you eat what’s on your plate its gone, but the management is always around making sure you’re having the best experience possible. Servers are more than happy to provide for you what you’d like, bring you new plates, and by the time my boyfriend put one plate to the side moments later it was scooped off of our table and he was provided another. The manager was walking around to each table making sure everything was fine and he was absolutely charming. He’s the taller man in the suit with the bun hair tied back if you see him and have any problems at all or questions he’s more than willing to take care of you. The hospitality in itself makes you want to come back soon. The dessert plate is brought out after your meal and you’ll want to make room for it. The passion fruit tart is fantastic if you want something lighter feeling to eat, the cookie they serve warm with a scoop of ice cream on is better than your average cookie and by far the richest thing I’ve eaten in forever was this chocolate mouse with hazelnut crème amongst some other ingredients. It was SORICH and DELICIOUS that I can never order anything else if I want chocolate, I’m completely hooked.

This is a VERY damn pricey place. Actually, brazillian steak places don’t do much for me. The salad bar is good. It just turns me off that you have to beg the waiters to constantly bring you your food… Once I order, I like to be left alone to enjoy eating and the company I am with. Drinks are good, not terrif just good. TOOTOOPRICEY for what you get

I liked this place MUCHMUCH better then all of the other Brazilian style steak houses that I have been to in Chicago and surrounding areas. Even more so then the«Brazilian» Steak houses then I have been to In Brazil. All of the meat that I had was well cooked, seasoned and very flavorful. Unlike at Fogo De Chow(sp?) where it feels more like your just getting fine cuts of meat that arent all that good, if that makes sense. Our waitress was very friendly and the meat people didnt mind to stop to take pictures for my brothers birthday. The free en tress that they bring to your table werent that special, but I liked the unique and strange variety that they offered at the salad bar thing. The few drinks that I had were all great, and I cant emphasize that enough. I like well made drinks, and drink them for their taste, not for being to the brim with alcohol, unless my intent is to get trashed immediately. I was drinking mango mojitos(I like them even better then carnival’s) all night, but also tried the cucumber martini(awesome) and some type of strawberry martini. One of the servers accidentally splattered grease on my brother’s dress pants, no one made a fuss because they were black but we were talking about it and a manager came over and gave him his card and said he would like to pay for his dry cleaning bill. All in all I would definetly go back, probably not to this location, but that is only because I hear they are building one in the city that is much closer to where I live.

MMMM Went last night it was yummy. There was not one thing that wasn’t good and adding fish, chicken, pork breaks up the meat concept. The salad bar is upscale and yummy. Lots of different things you won’t find anywhere else really a meal in itself. Service was great and everyone really wanted to make sure you were enjoying yourself. They came around and asked if you were waiting on anything special and sent it right around. We went on a Thursday night in snow storm so wonder if they are always so good. Been to the other steakhouse’s and I think ZED451 is going to do very well… Try it you will like it.

I wanted to give this place 5 stars. –1 star for having some people walking around with pepperoni calzones and other crap that should not be at an all you can eat steak place. -.5 for some crappier entrees coming out multiple times while waiting for the filet I would truly give this place 3.5 but I can’t do that. And because Kat P works there and placed her PR review… I’ll try and true it up a little by giving it a little lower to lessen the impact of a PR person BTW(5+2)÷2 = 3.5SOITDOESGETMY3.5 stars I believe it deserves.
