YUM. Had great food and drink here. While upon entering, it seems more upscale with a trendy, dimly lit bar area with fabulous cocktails, the prices are actually pretty reasonable. We ended up waiting 25 – 30 minutes for a table, which wasn’t an issue because we camped out at the bar. It was a Saturday night after all. The servings are actually a little larger than your typical tapas servings. They fall between smaller tapas and a normal sized meal. We enjoyed all of the dishes we tried. The service was prompt and the food delivery was quick. We enjoyed the caprese flatbread, chicken piccata, and honey bourbon pork tenderloin. While they were all delicious, I enjoyed the pork tenderloin the most because the flavoring was outstanding. The caprese flatbread was also amazing. The balsamic reduction on top really sets this apart from other caprese flatbreads, and binds all of the flavors so well. It was the perfect size too! Our friends couldn’t stop raving about the prosciutto carbonara, which was so creamy. They also have an impressive cocktail/martini list — I tried the watermelon cooler, and my husband had a cucumber martini. They have options for a cookies and cream and double espresso martini — which are on the list for next time! I can’t wait to come back and eat here. I would definitely recommend it!

Delicious dishes with an expertly chosen mix of flavors! Truffle Frites with the Gorgonzola-Horseradish dipping sauce were amazing. The Mixed salad with candied walnuts was delightful. Blackened Salmon with mustard dipping sauce was incredible. Highly recommend!

We had mojitos and martinis with the spinach and artichoke dip and truffle fries. All were absolutely delicious. Best spinach dip and pita bread we have ever had! Good live music, trendy and comfortable interior.

We walked in off the street on valentine’s day afternoon, 18 of us, who all are either bartenders, servers, restaurant managers or restaurant GMs. …so we can be a little more critical than some groups. They were not only accommodating and friendly, but the cocktails and food(had almost every tapas item between us all) were great, not just okay or good but great. We were there celebrating out friends getting married and this experience will be part of the great memories. We will always make sure we visit Jazz’d when we come to Savannah. Thank you to Courtney our server and all the Managers and staff that helped!

We showed up on Valentine’s Day on a pub crawl with 18 ppl. They were friendly, quick and accommodating! The drinks and food were good– it would have been nice if the live music had started but we were a little early. They seem to have live music most nights and they have couches, tables and a bar depending on your mood.

We had dinner here last night with friends and it was wonderful. All the dishes we ordered were wonderful but the steak Diane and the cheese plate were my favorites. We ordered 14 dishes for 6 people and it was more than enough food, the portions are larger than traditional tapas which was a nice surprise. I would defiantly recommend this place.

Good tapas, not Spanish but they’re pretty upfront a bout it. Lamb chops were solid, very charred by flavorful. Salad had nice bibb lettuce and well made dressing. Shrimp spring roll w edamame salad was unique and delicious. Spaetzl with pancetta was perfect and amazing. Good drink selection, quick and attentive service. A good find on side street. Def worth a meal if you’ve got a few nights on Savannah. Not a low country affair but a good tapas dinner.

Been here a couple times. Great place to have a Girls’ Night Out or group of dinner with some friends, but not so great for a date since the live jazz band is usually quite loud. Feels like you have to speak above the norm to hear one another. The food was good though & I enjoyed the atmosphere.

Delicious with a capital D! We stopped by Jazz’d after some wine at In Vino Veritas wine bar and fully enjoyed the two tapas we ordered: thai chicken lettuce wraps and the bruschetta, along with some after-dinner drinks. The food was DELICIOUS and their menu is gigantic. There were so many more items we wanted to try but just didn’t have the room in our stomachs for — oh well! I guess we will have to come again! Food — great. Drinks — great. Atmosphere — amazing! The bartender told us our Friday night was very quiet for their usual crowd, but there were still plenty of guests having fun and applauding the phenomenal blues/jazz band that was playing live tonight. All around great experience. We will definitely be back!

Very comfortable atmosphere. Band was really good. Not too loud, still easy to talk at your table. It doesn’t take reservations, we walked in on Saturday at 8 and waited less than 30 mins. There was a nice cocktail area. The lamb chops were juicy and seasoned well. The creole goat cheese was spicy and creamy. The Cuban quesadillas were flavorful, but not remarkable. The Thai lettuce wraps were more like a chicken salad than a true lettuce wrap. The carbonara was disappointing, very bland. Unfortunately, they were out of what I suspect were some of their best dishes. Overall a great spot for dinner on a Saturday. Reasonably priced and very comfortable.

We grabbed tapas during our stay in Savannah this past October 2015. Head down the stairs and get ready for some food and entertainment. Noise level was moderate, due to live music but it added to the energy and vibe of the bar. We tried the Martini Marinated Tenderloin Tips, the Steak Dianne and the Asiago Bread & Oil. Enough for 2 to share with a few martinis. A little pricey, but it’s to be expected in the center of a tourist town. Our waiter was really friendly and even gave suggestions of other local places to try while on our vacation!

So by its name, we were thinking of a traditional jazz bar, with low lights and a groovy atmosphere. However, the decoration felt more like a restaurant/diner to us. Food was decent, not great. The caprese flat bread was small and bland; the steak tips, on the other hand, were better. Prices a bit steep. Music was good but don’t expect a large band with a trumpet and all — at least the day we went — Tuesday — there wasn’t. I would go back but with a different expectation though.

This place is a great jazz bar. Just make sure you bring a thirsty wallet, prices aren’t cheap. They offer a wide range of martini’s. My boyfriend got a classic dirty and I tried their espresso martini’s. The espresso martini was off the charts– very smooth and strong with coffee beans floating on top. I also got the wedge– it wasn’t bad at all. It hit the spot nicely as I wanted something not too heavy and not too strong.

Tapas for 2 highly recommended only $ 65 comes with soup/salad 2 Tapas dessert & nonalcoholic beverage or coffee. She Crab soup was divine My tapas choices were 1. Mussels Da Fravolo(sp?) DELICIOUS! 2. Escargot very very flavorful No flour chocolate torte was decadent but not heavy NOREGRETS on any of my choices I am not a whiskey drinker but the Sazerac sounded too interesting to miss & it was phenomenal imho(pass on it if u don’t like licorice); I will order it again. only recommendation: dont take the mussels home bc the tomato sauce was delicious & not in a leakproof container. :-(

Not a bad spot! The husband and I intuited ourselves towards the location by chance. We were looking for something«special», outside of the commercial joints littering the street. Coming from Los Angeles and being in a city know for its culinary scene, we couldn’t imagine eating chicken wings or burgers… In any event, we kept it light since we were headed back to our rental where left over thanksgiving dinner awaited us! Ha. He had the cheese steak egg rolls. They were huge and tasted exactly like what they said they were. I live in Philadelphia for a number of years and this was Ishkabibbles in an egg roll! Great job. Conversely, I was thrown by the aioli just a little… just a little! While I love an aioli(LOVE), it detracted a slight from the authenticity of the cheese steak flavor. So, there that is… I had the Pork Tenderloin w/tomato jam. The flavor and char on the tenderloin was delightful but was a bit overcooked. I ordered this dish because I was intrigued by the spicy tomato jam! It delivered. Balanced and a nice kick but not overwhelming. I would, however, change the potato salad that accompanied it. Another instance where mayo took over the dish. Maybe balance it with a little Dijon and citrus to compliment the tomato jam. The service: We sat at the bar. VERY lax and not welcoming in the least. Not what one would expect for southern hospitality. My family hails from Statesboro so I know what it should look like… That said, were I local, I’d come back to try everything on the menu at least once. We missed the band because we had to get back to the rest of the family who were eating at the wing spot(LOL — sucks to be them)! But I’ll be back. And my cousins, who are local and have yet to patronize the establishment, will be checking them out soon.

Great little place tucked away underground. Large selection of small plates with decent prices. Live music was really good. Drinks at the bar were awesome. Great bar tender. Only bad thing is that it closes at 10pm(but it seems that so does everything else in Savannah…)

Great staff, food and music. My girls and I came here to woo-hoo up for our completion of the«RocknRoll ½ marathon.» After recouping, got our 2nd wind and was ready for more than just a good meal. Jazz’d was a befitting environment for a late dinner and drinks. A table couldn’t be reserved because we were a party of 3; which initially caused some hesitation as we were staying at a hotel 20 mins aways; but we pressed on. Street parking was a challenge. Tip — park in a lot for $ 10 — peace of mind. The host was congenial and invited us to wait in the lounge area until our table was ready. The area was comfy, welcoming and the tasty cocktails made the waiting for our table fun. Heck we could have hung in the lounge for the duration of the evening. Before we knew it our table was ready. The menu accommodated everyone. Being economical, we chose the Tapas for two($ 65), which was more than sufficient for the 3 of us: 4 tapas, soup/salad, 2 beverages and desserts. We closed out with a decadent bread pudding and chocolate cake as live music played in the background. Just what we marathoners needed! Thanks

What a rad concept! We stopped in Savannah for the first 2 nights of our honeymoon, and the city did not disappoint. Jazz’d was definitely one of the culinary high-points of the trip thus far. Really creative, inspired food set in an eclectic-but-comfortable downstairs dining room and lounge. The food — we sampled 7 tapas and each of them were incredible! The fish & chips, the lasagna, and the salmon stood out among them. Also, dessert was divine. The service — our server, Jeff, was just awesome. Attentive, quick, thorough, and patient. We were never without drinks and he even made some great suggestions for dinner and dessert. The service was outstanding. The atmosphere — everything you would expect a jazz & tapas bar to be! Fun, modern, and romantically-lit from wall to wall. There was an incredible musician, Jeff Beasley, playing the night we visited. He was a real treat. If you’re in a small group, Jazz’d should definitely make your list of must-visit restaurants in Savannah. You won’t be disappointed.

I had been wanting to dine at Jazz’d since moving to Savannah and decided to dine here for my birthday the other night. I knew by the menu that it was going to be a more«american» style tapas as opposed to Spanish style. Our waitress also explained the same thing. We decided on the tapas for 2 for $ 65. My husband had the Cesar salad and loved, I had the jazzd spring mix salad and I was just as happy. We got the firecracker shrimp, Cuban quesadillas, tenderloin beef tips and pork tenderloin. We actually enjoyed the two lighter tapas most, the shrimp and quesadilla. Everything was fabulous though. My meat favorite was the beef tips. They were in a gravy with an extremely strong blue cheese flavor. We are fans of blue cheese but it was a little overwhelming. We got the flourless chocolate tart and bread pudding for dessert. Both were very vey good but we were so full we could not finish it. I also had a sangria which I loved and absolutely recommend. It had muddled fruit on the bottom which was really flavorful. The atmosphere was comfortable and hip. Although pretty dead at 6:30 pm on a weekday. The service was fabulous. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. The live music was a young woman playing acoustic guitar and singing lovey songs. Her voice was great but I was really really hoping for more of jazz style live music. I gave Jazz’d five stars because it served us very well. I wanted a tapas restaurant with good sangrias, great food, quick friendly service and live music.

My boyfriend took me here as a surprise for our first night in Savannah. Everything was excellent. The restaurant service is impeccable and you can tell all the waitstaff operates with the utmost professionalism. Food is served as tapas style. My boyfriend ordered a soup and I got a salad. We split the terra cotta cheese plate which we completely annihilated and almost licked the plate(seriously not kidding) stop reading the rest of this review and order the cheese plate already! For our main entrée I ordered lamb chops which were cooked perfectly medium rare with a Mediterranean rub. He ordered the Cuban quesadilla which was also excellent. Cocktails were great and I must say I’m a lady that is picky about my Manhattan. Live music and great ambiance. This place is great for couples or groups of friends. I 100% recommend this restaurant and plan on returning.
