Our server was not attentive nor friendly. 7 minutes after being sat at a table, 3 nearby tables with customers who came in AFTER us were serviced and tended to before we even ordered our drinks. Finally the manager came out and took our order after my husband had to get up to complain. Of course they rush cooked our food but luckily it wasnt under cooked. However the way the food was plated was unappealing to the eye and the portion size was shameful. we definitely wont be back here.
I decided to have breakfast out this morning. Intro: Known for its great pancakes(as the name suggests), IHOP prides itself on being a casual come-as-you-are restaurant serving a variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner items anytime of the day. Food: I’ve always been a breakfast person and often wind up at one of the two IHOP locations near me. For this visit, I decided to try their ‘Fruit N’ Streusel Crêpes’. IHOP often has a special on the menu that is available as an affordable combo with eggs, hash browns, and meat. I ended up substituting the meat for seasonal fruit(no extra charge) and ordered sourdough toast and pancakes on the side. The food was great and cooked just as I ordered. Just a few nitpicks… the orange(I think it was orange) in the fruit bowl was terrible and the pancakes were a little less sweet that usual. Also, I don’t know why, but they serve the hash browns in this rectangular flat cube shape which always bothered me… almost like they just take it out of a package, fry it, and serve it. It leaves the middle a little raw tasting. Service: The service was good. It did take a while for us to receive our food after ordering(about 15 minutes for breakfast) but they did seem a little crowded and food was consistently coming out of the kitchen so I will cut them a little slack. Our waitress was pleasant and let us know when our food was going to be out next. Cleanliness: The restaurant was very clean. Around us, the table bussers cleaned both table and seats before seating other guests. Atmosphere: Standard atmosphere for a diner setting… nothing too over-the-top and light music being played in the background. The music selection was a little off though, it sounded like they were playing some sad/heartbreaking songs which I didn’t think was appropriate for the setting. Price: $ 15.37 was my bill(at the time of this writing) before tax and tip for a crêpe combo(a strawberry/blue berry crêpe, 2 eggs, hash browns, and seasonal fruit), an order of sourdough toast(1 slice), and a short stack of 3 pancakes. A bit on the pricey side for breakfast as I’ve seen other diners around the area charge about 25−35% less for the same type of meal. However, in my opinion, all day breakfast ends up being worth it in the end. Overall: This was a typical visit for me… nothing really stuck out as really good or really bad. For this type of restaurant though, that’s not necessarily a bad thing. FINALTALLIES Food: 6.5÷8 Service: ¾ Cleanliness: 4⁄4 Atmosphere: 1.5÷2 Price: ½ Total: 16⁄20 — 4 stars

Typical iHop restaurant. It’s bigger than most and is clean. Our server Kym was friendly and attentive. The coffee, as usual, was good. I ordered the combo(eggs, bacon and brioche French toast.). My daughter got the country style omelette. The portions were huge and we could not finish our meals. My eggs were just okay — I got them scrambled and they seemed a little runny. The bacon was fine. The brioche bananas Foster French toast was really good. No syrup was necessary to eat them. My father ordered the pumpkin pancakes and said that they didn’t have an overpowering pumpkin taste. The price was a great deal for the amount –$ 47 for four people. I would recommend if you have the time to take to eat here.

I’m giving four stars because this IHOP is probably the best one that I’ve been to. I’ve been here around 5:30 p.m. on free pancake day and a handful of times throughout the middle of the night and I’ve never had to wait for a table. The scrambled eggs and the shredded hashbrowns are so bomb. The food is so much better than Dennys, Bickfords, ect. They always satisfy my late-night(usually drunken) breakfast craving.

Good food. Fantastic service. Even on busy weekends the wait seems like fly by. The manager Koo is always friendly and checks on our service on every visit. There are a few Ihops around the area but we always prefer to travel a little further for the excellent food experience.

I went there last Sunday with my wife we waited a while for our food that wasn’t to bad but when our food showed up evrtyhing was ice cold and tasted like they had it sitting for hours i didn’t eat anything but the toast so when I told the waitress they gave me my wife’s pankackes for free even though she never touched it and they took 30percent off my meal which I only ate the toast if I was a jerk I should have told them I wasn’t paying for nothing but I did not want to look like I wanted anything for free I would never go there again and tell everyone never eat there unless you want to throw away 20 bucks you are better off taking your money throw it out the window on route one then go to McDonald’s

I went this Sunday morning for breakfast with my girlfriend and had an awesome experience. The 20 minute wait was expected considering it’s Sunday morning but we were seated and waited on in a very timely fashion. Our service was excellent and the food was perfect. It’s not every time you go to breakfast and you REALLY enjoy every morsel on the plate. If anyone wants a good dining experience and delicious food this iHop is the place to go!

Went on a very busy Saturday morning… Didn’t wait for more than 5 minutes! They give out little cards with Disney characters instead of taking names… Pretty cute idea. My husband and I were very pleased with our food. I could eat their Berries & Cream Waffle on a daily basis! The cream is HIGHLY addictive! I could take that to the head… No chaser. #SugarJunkie

My wife & I typically go to Iron Town diner for breakfast on Sunday’s. We decided to shake things up a bit and try IHOP. We checked in with the hostess who provided us with a cartoon nickname for our party name and let us know that the wait would be around 45 minutes. We decided to head down the street to do some shopping and returned 40 minutes later. After waiting for 20 more minutes– totaling 1 hour, I politely checked in with her to see if she could give me an update on the wait time. I understand that she is making her best guess at timing and it’s only an estimate. However, we had to be somewhere at a specific time so I needed to determine if we should go somewhere else or continue to wait. She looked at the list and replied«Oh I am so sorry, give me 5 minutes and we’ll get you seated». At this point I had also noticed that the 25 people that had come in after us were already seated and eating and the parties that had come in before us had already ate and left. I waited an additional 20 minutes(now a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes) before walking over to her and asking what was going on. She just stared at me blankly. The assistant manager stood next to her with his hands down the back of his pants staring out the window. Finally, a waiter happen to walk by and could see that I was frustrated. He asked me what the problem was and I informed him, he looked at the seating chart and said«dude you’ve got about 5 parties in front of you. Im not sure why she would tell you she’d have you seated in 5 minutes». Then, the assistant manager chimed in and said«wow that’s really not right, give me a couple minutes and I will get you a table»…I decided after hearing that line before, waiting a total of 1 hour and 40 minutes, and at this point it being lunch time we left. We went back to Iron Town Diner, ate an amazing breakfast, and promised never to stray from there again.

Good food, good prices. But, bad atmosphere, pretty bad staff. Compared to its competitor Denny’s it’s five stars though. Definitely pick here over there unless you want food poisoning.

I been eating in this place for couple of times, there is always some thing. I can’t say much about the food but place it self has a funny smell. Any ways this morning I stopped by which was wednesday how crowded place could be. I saw people waiting in the waiting area I stayed there 10 min not even 1 person was there to seat people and restaurant was empty. I just left and I’m not going there anymore.

You guys should ad negative stars . I go to IHOP once a years or probably twice. Yesterday went there:(I m not trying to insult anyone here but this is true) The hostess wearing dirty pans, 2 b. boys dirty pans. The youngest has a hole in pans you cannot miss it a huge one next the zipper. It wasn’t busy, the waitress showed up every 30 seconds she think we know what we want(girl give me time to look at the menu) . Now the food: I really took pictures: what’s on the menu vs what I got(I got served: spinach leaves I say big sheets of spinach and omelette …(I have pictures: they had a pic of my order on the menu: I ordered a Mercedes and I got a bicycle(well it will do the ride) . My friend, the crepes: ¼ thick . Now the end: the waitress start showing once we put the forks on the plates(we stopped just to talk). She now start showing up exactly every 60 seconds cause we timed the last one. Is there a way to post those food pics I took? Food only promise.

The lines are long on weekends but they do a good job of getting people seated in a timely fashion. The servers are okay, pretty friendly. Food is cooked quickly and served hott.

This IHOP is like any other. My friend and daughter came here for breakfast before heading to the beach. We should have gone to the one closer to Revere but forgot that was there until we were leaving the beach. Regardless, when we got there, there must have been 20 or so people waiting outside. We were skeptical about staying as it may take awhile to be seated. We asked anyways. We were told 15 minutes and given a card with«Beyonce» written on it. I thought that was funny and joked. Everyone around laughed at my «I guess I will be Beyonce for a bit» followed by «where’s Jay-Z» and haha more laughter. Within 10 minutes were were called and sat. Our Waitress came by quickly and took our drink orders and returned with the drinks but forgot the lemon so went back to get it, then took our food order. My friend ordered the Steak and Eggs which came with pancakes. My daughter ordered the Bacon Omelette and I ordered the Bacon and Egg with Banana Bread french toast. All of this and it was only $ 35. Since we couldn’t finish it, we took the rest to go. Good experience for an IHOP. :)

Never GO Here!!! Avoid like the PLAGUE. At 11AM waited 30 minutes to be seated. Even though the place was empty. I realized why. Never had a server come to my group. We waited a total of 1 hour and 22 minutes for seating and service and never saw anyone even though we said something to the host or person seating us. Awful. Awful.
