solid breakfast, reasonable prices, coffee is pretty good, nothing fancy but the interior needs updating. worthy of return visits

You can get an entire meal here for the price of one drink at Starbucks! Plenty of character, great décor, it’s all Lynn inspired pics. Newspaper clippings taped to the walls, sports teams, events etc. it’s one of my most memorable breakfast spots.

Great prices. Great food. Run by great lynn residents! The McNulty sandwich is the way to go.

Super friendly breakfast place! A cash-​only «hole in the wall» if you will. My go-​to when I’m craving more than just fast food for my first meal of the day in the north shore. Home fries are not my personal favorite, but you can’t beat the price!

It was my first time here, despite living on north shore a long time and having gotten recommendations from friends.
I am really tired of paying $ 8 — $ 10 for breakfast for one person, so I was totally shocked at Little River’s low prices. Hash & eggs, + a coffee, were around $ 5.00. And everything was cooked as I had ordered.
My waitress at the counter was a lovely older lady, and she checked on me periodically and was very polite.
As someone else said, people needs to understand it is a greasy-​spoon, old-​fashioned breakfast place. You will not find vanilla soy lattes, croissants or 5 types of eggs benedict here. Certainly not a place for the pretentious; attitudes need to be checked at the door.
Cash only; no debit or credit cards.
Homey and casual atmosphere with a lot of pictures of local folks.
It was good. It was cheap. It was fast. I will be going back.

Have not been here in years. Breakfast was cooked fast and was great. Price wise I thought I was in the 90’s!!! Remember that this is a family owned greasy spoon… Will be back soon

Little River is a north shore staple! The food prices can’t be beat and you get that welcoming home town feel. Get the Mcnulty with sausage and if you need some extra protein go with the hash!

They were great. All around American cuisine. They’re hash is amazing and home fries are fresh. Prices are cheap and the staff was down to earth and friendly. I will definitely go back.

First time here and was very disappointed. The service was horrible the waitress never checked on us. The food was mediocre the pancakes and French toast were dry. Will not be returning.

A live insect in my burnt homefries. Enough said.

Fast service, great food, big portions. Don’t be scared off by the outside, or the décor. Great target for Guy Fieri, DDD, to see a small diner like atmosphere.

I used to go here years ago and I remember it being good. I have been 3 times recently and each time was worse than the last. This morning we waited forty minutes for pancakes that were completely raw in the middle (still batter in its liquid form). The waitress did not acknowledge us once during the 40 minute wait and I had to approach the counter to get a refill of my coffee. When the pancakes arrived she simply plopped them on the table and didn’t say a word. I know the Little River Inn is beloved among my fellow Lynn residents however I am convinced this small diner is not what it once was. I will certainly never return and I suggest you find a different place for breakfast. There is no shortage of breakfast joints in the area and if the Little River Inn doesn’t clean up their act I don’t see how they could last.

Went here this morning and had pancakes with a ham egg and cheese on an english muffin. The pancakes were ok but the sandwich was very good. The locations is not that great for parking since it’s on Boston st. Inside it’s not that big but you can’t beat the prices. I’ll probably return and try some other items.

I love Little River Inn. I’ve been going there since I was a young child, and it’s always good. Family owned and operated, they make you feel at home from the get-​go. I love the McNulty, it’s awesome when you get it to go. They put it in a little container and the cheese leaks out onto homefries. So good. I love their bagels cooked on the flat top too! Yummy! :)
