I’m so thankful for Tolson Computer Solutions! Just eleven months after purchasing a new iMac, the hard drive started having issues, and the Apple Store offered to replace it, but they don’t do data recovery. Most of my things were backed up, but a few important desktop files were really important to me, and I had neglected to back them up. Todd and Thomas immediately dispelled my fears and then worked hard over a few days to get a full back-​up of my hard drive. They waited patiently as the Apple Store put in a new hard drive, and then they restored my computer to the exact settings as before the crisis! All of my logins, actions, and so forth are all there, and I’m able to pick up right where I left off. And not only that. .. They ordered me a new external drive and set me up on Time Machine so that this will never, ever happen again! Everyone in the office is wonderful — friendly and kind — and they really know their stuff without making the less knowledgable feel dumb. I enjoyed the experience and it is a relief to have a go-​to shop for everything from the emergency data recovery (like I had) to smaller jobs. For a small business owner, it is so important to have an IT department. Hooray! Now I have one!

I was having some problems with my laptop, I am far from being a computer expert. Apparently I had a couple backups on my computer that were taking up precious disk space. I brought my computer in and both Todd and Thomas fixed my computer and I was able to go home and start using it with out any problems!!! I would highly recommend Tolson Computer Solutions…

TRULY A GREAT COMPUTER SHOP! Todd initially got me my ASUS laptop for my VA vocational rehab program, so i could go back to school online as i am a disabled combat veteran. After an accidental mishap by my younger brother, while i was not there, i had to have Todd work on the computer, not only did he get it purring again, replacing the fan keyboard and etc. and giving me a recovery dvd set up, that i just used to reset my computer after windows 10 killed my laptop, he enabled me to get it purring again. Todd also graciously allowed me more time to pay for the repairs as i waited on the VA to pay me for me service connected compensation. THIS GUY ROCKS!

First of all, I love supporting local businesses and these guys are great. Friendly, competitive prices, and great results. I thought the hard drive on my MacBook had failed and needed to be replaced. They determined it was just a faulty wire and fixed it for much less than the original estimate. I had it back before the week was over. I hope I don’t have more computer issues, bout if o do, I will be sure to bring them here.

These people are great. I met them at the Santee Blue Grass festival where they had a booth set up.
I spilled Mt. Dew all over my laptop, fried it I guess. I took it in and they fixed it for a very fair price.

Well, where do I start?!? A few months back, I won a contest put on by TCS — a maintenance & service package for any 2 computers I own. About a week ago my laptop wouldn’t let me log-​in, along with a couple other problems that had been building up. So… I brought my laptop in to TCS praying for a miracle, and that the repairs would cost less than $ 180…
OMG! The staff, Mr. & Mrs. Tolson along with their son Thomas, made me feel like one of the family! They listened to all the problems I was experiencing, walked me through the very short paperwork process, and gave me a fair estimate on the time it would take to fix any potential problems.
Long story short — two days later I’m picking up my laptop (which is working better than before)!!! Oh, the cost you ask? Most of all the work/​repairs were covered in my service package that I won! Not to brag, but I will — I walked out of TCS VERY happy with my now-​working-​again laptop and paid less than $ 60!!!
Tip from me: if you need repair work or any other Computer/​Server/​Network services — CALL TCS FIRST!!!
AND…
Invest in TCS’s maintenance & service packages!!! Because when something goes wrong, and it WILL, you’ll have piece-​of-​mind knowing that you’re covered!
You have insurance on your car, home, health & life… Doesn’t it make sense to have some sort of plan that protects the computers/​laptops/​tablets that you use EVERYDAY???
