Absolutely top-notch service! Eugene is really the best. I have had seriously stained items returned looking beautiful, and the care taken even for the routine garment has been fantastic. Prices are very reasonable. Eugene is tremendous and I can’t thank him enough for all the great work. Highly recommended!

I’m SO sad that I didn’t read Gaby S.‘s review! The same thing happened to me! I took my favorite pair of Phillip Lim trouser jeans in for dry cleaning. And when I got them back? The sheen was gone and they had SHRUNK. I couldn’t believe it! I’d had them 10 years. 10!!! They had been dry cleaned by a multitude of different dry cleaners. And none of them had shrunk them. None of them had WASHED them. And yes, that’s exactly what they did at Wilshire Cleaners. When the label clearly says«DRYCLEANONLY.» When I confronted them about it, there was no apology. The guy simply said, «We all wash „dry clean only“ clothes. All the dry cleaners do.» Really? Well, why had none of the other dry cleaners ruined my jeans? Jeans that can’t be replaced? They were my «go to» jeans. They weren’t cheap when I bought them. And I had replaced buttons over the years. And the sheen made them look like they were still new. Now, they are ruined. And I’m in disbelief. If I wanted my jeans washed, I would do it myself at home. The whole point of going to a dry cleaner is to have things dry cleaned! And who doesn’t read a label?! I’m so mad. And sadly, there’s nothing I can do about it.

Been going here about 8 years, because I can trust them to do the best job for my assortment of finicky hand-woven /embroidered/and older family heirloom fabrics, and to let me know what should be dry cleaned vs. fluff and folded. Every couple of months, I come in the usual assortment of professional adults’ clothes: ties, shirts, suits, skirts, the odd slinky dress and(because one of us has an affinity for spilling ink on everything) I really rely on Eugene and Wilshire Cleaners to handle. They have cleaned wine, blood and ink stains of which I have despaired; removed wax from damask and wool, and warned where an ink stain will not be helped by dry cleaning or fluff and fold, but can be patched with a similar fabric(which I didn’t even need to provide myself!) I have trusted Eugene and Wilshire Cleaners with hand-woven pillow covers from Crete, hand embroidered and hand-woven wool table clothes from the Russian market that get wine dumped on it every Christmas, down comforters(which my husband and I seem to spill coffee on at least annually), and most recently I have been bringing them my jackets to alter, having to take everything in a size. I dump my stuff on them and waltz out and have no idea how they have never lost anything, when I am admittedly flaky about picking up my stuff in a timely manner! I am not someone who loves to review small businesses if I don’t have great things to say about them, because I know how hard it is to make a small business viable. And if one only gives good reviews, then one is suspect, I am guessing. **But recently these guys did such a spectacular save for me that I really have to share some before and after pics!** After a move, some of my family«best» linens got misplaced and wound up garaged and exposed to moisture. And since I did not know they were there, I did not intervene as mold began to take hold. These linens were handed down to me from my grandmother and mother and the story of them is that they date circa 1880s from a great great aunt who had married an Italian prince! They are mostly all high quality damasks, but delicate(some quite thin with age). I am posting the before and after pics. As you can see, Wilshire Cleaners triumphed and it occurred to me that I really had to write this up. Here they were, month after month, turning in really quite extraordinary results– it seemed the least I could do was share some of the pics. Btw, there were three napkins that Eugene would not touch. They are honest, industrious, and experts on what can and can’t be done. I highly recommend. Last tip: they will even set you up with 3rd party vendors for leather if it is something they don’t do, but in these cases they do not control the timeframe or schedule and so if you do have these contacts yourself, you may want to work with them directly if you are in a hurry for the fabric.

Well, that was short lived. Couldn’t figure out why my clothes kept coming back either stretched out or shrunk! They decided to «wash» dry clean only items. Completely shrunk. When I spoke with them about it, the only recommendation they made was«let’s take out the hem in the legs and let’s stretch out the tops» Unbelievable! Maybe I just had a bad«one off» experience, but if you decide to take your clothes to this cleaner, make absolutely certain that they will guarantee«dry cleaning» if that is your request. No washing in hot water. I had to replace items of my work wardrobe. Costly to say the least and not always possible since the same items are not carried year round by the manufacturers. I truly hesitated before I posted this review, but think it will be of great benefit for future clientele.

One of the best dry cleaners I have ever used, period. I’m the assistant to a film director in Santa Monica and have been using Wilshire Cleaners for his clothes for 3 years. Eugene is a class act, supremely professional and friendly, and always has the clothes ready by the promised time(and commonly even earlier). Will continue to return here again and again, thank you Eugene.

I discovered Wilshire Cleaners after relocating to the area. Excellent quality, top-notch customer service and reasonable prices make this the place for dry cleaning and laundry services. I’ll definitely keep going back.

Fantastic customer service and excellent work! They always go above and beyond. I’ve used them also for alterations and the work is always right and looks great. Last by not least, as a new customer I was very impressed by how quickly they began calling me by name, making it clear how much they value me as a customer. 5-star business!

The place is a joke really. I’ve been there twice now, and both times was overcharged. The last time I was told the coupon I had given them was a competitor coupon. My response was«really, then why does it have your business name and address on it.» To which they responded«competitors mark up prices, we don’t.» True story, even though it seems to be straight out of a sitcom. Any business that prints coupons to attract customers and then doesn’t honor these coupons, or refuses to even acknowledge such coupons should be stayed away from. This is clear fraud.

I was not a customer there very long. Waited twenty minutes because associate could not find my clothes, because someone neglected to place a tag on my order. Quality of work was good, without which would rate one star. This was only my third visit! I will drive further, pay less, and stick to my previous cleaner!
