Even though this store is a 30 minute drive from my place, it’s worth every penny. This store carries a wide variety of yarns, including my faves Plymouth Yarn Baby Alpaca Grande & CoBaSi. Seriously awesome! Christian is very very helpful. There is 1 table right near the entrance & another table inside the store. There are also 2 chairs that you can sit in & knit. Love love love the store layout. It’s kind of in the middle of nowhere. But, it’s quiet.

I live in the south bay where we have at least half a dozen excellent yarn stores but I consider this shop to be worth the trip. They stock a great selection of yarn and they offer tons of classes. I am on their email list and it is always informative. I got some great stuff on sale here during the yarn crawl.

Simply one of the best yarn shops within 100 miles of LA. The selection is sublime and the atmosphere warm and helpful as can be. Discovered this gem 3years ago during the first LA Yarn Crawl. Now I travel from over 50 miles away once a month and pay to attend their Saturday 9am Knit Happy Club, a delightful class taught by Yuko on useful & lesser known knitting techniques. Today was shadow knitting(look it up on Ravelry!) It was once again a fantastic way to while away the morning in the company of friendly people in one of my favorite places.

This shop might have great classes, might have great yarn but follow through with a request and customer service seems to be at a true low. I am part of a new group in the valley that is making blankets/hats for babies that are stillborn or pass shortly after birth. These blankets go in memory boxes and our group is donating to hospitals. I reached out to Amanda via 2 emails… that she did receive, a phone call and a follow up phone call which she never returned. A wonderful yarn mfg was eager to assist us in the donation of some supplies, however needed to work through our local store. Due to Amanda’s obvious refusal to participate in this wonderful charitable cause… we have to look out of our own valley to find another store that will help us out. SONOTNICE.

This store is in Santa Clarita. I live in Highland Park. I visit this store once a month. Why? Because the people who work there are amazing and welcoming(even to this guy knitter), their selection is bonkers good(everything from affordable basic wool blends to luxury yarn), and even the people who shop and knit there are awesome. If you are a knitter or would like to become one, this is one store that you have to check out.

Beautiful Store! Nicely arranged, and laid out. I liked the feel of the store, the cozy warm atmosphere, and the helpful staff. Nice selection of Rowan yarns, and everything else you can imagine! Well worth the drive for the Yarn Crawl 2014!
